I had initially posted a bad review of weltbild.ch because of a bad experience with the call center customer service. I had phoned because the yoga ball was smaller than advertised. In Switzerland, we are used to dealing in multiple languages because we are a country with 3 national languages. The customer service not only refused to talk to me in French or Italian (2 of the 3 national languages), and in English, but screamed at me saying that "only German," and that the wrong item i received in the post was "not [his] problem."

I emailed the corporate head of customer service using an email that I found by googling. I sent them the recording of the man screaming at me in German and basic English and the head of the Switzerland immediately contacted me. He was very sorry that somebody affiliated with his company screamed at me. I sent back the item and was refunded with in a day. The man in charge not only followed up to see that the person was disciplined but also looked up my item and indeed found it was not as advertised and relisted the item. Additionally he offered me a coupon to use on another purchase.

Weltbild.ch not only heard my complaints but acted very appropriately and swiftly.

Easy, clear, super!

Great prices! Great service! Big collection! Great books also in English! Love it. I always find what I need, I'll keep shopping in Weltbild.

Ordered book on October 18th. Not received 2 weeks later and no idea when it will arrive. Post does not recognize the tracking number they sent.

Pretty much the same experience as that of the previous reviewer - placed an order at the end of March, receive a confirmation a week later suggesting it was handed over to Swiss Post, however when you go to the website of the latter with the supposed tracking number, the shipment cannot be found. Customer service responds by email within 2-3 days but pretty useless - what they say all the time "expect it to be delivered within the next few days"... their "next few days" have already been stretching over nearly three weeks, and I still have not gotten my order. Having such bad attitude towards their customers, I really hope this outlet goes out of business ASAP.
