Wickes - Chadwell Heath Reviews 

Delivery absolutely diabolical. Three different couriers to deliver my fence post, postcrete and post brackets all from the same company and same store. Order days prior to selected delivery date but all arrived hours apart and 2pm now half day gone waiting for fence post. Last time I order from here as nothing worse than a lost days work. Wish I ordered fence post from local company, as they arrived 8am sharp and kept me in the loop throughout the entire delivery process.

Huge thank you to Sultan for being so patient and understanding. We changed the design about 4 separate times before agreeing to one that the whole family liked. We never felt rushed - 'take your time' is his mantra🥰. Can't thank him enough for the input and advice he gave us. - Abdul

We recently visted Wickes to have a new bathroom fitted and was assisted by a lovely design consultant, Sultan. He provided excellent communications and a high quality customer service and assisted us effectively by designing a beautiful bathroom plan which we are very satisfied with. He was a true professional who built rapport quickly and he was calm, very pleasant. His expertise was flawless and invaluable. We found his knowledge and experience extremely helpful in our decision making. We highly recommend Sultan who provided a five star quality service. We cannot wait to have our bathroom fitted.

Great Service from Wickes at Chadwell Heath epitomised by Sultan Akbar. Sultan called round to review our kitchen area and take measurements, providing recommendations and advice in a friendly and understandable manner. Later in the morning we visited the branch where Sultan continued to provide first class advice and affordable solutions, whilst recognising our budget.
A thoroughly comprehensive and professional service delivered in a warm and courteous manner.

Fantastic service from Chahrazade Belamine at Wickes Chadwell Heath

Chahrazade provided fantastic service from start to finish. She was punctual for our showroom appointment and very professional throughout. She gave me great advice without any pushy sales, which I really appreciated.

She even went the extra mile by coming to check my measurements, which turned out to be a real help. My home is older and has uneven walls and floors, something I'd honestly forgotten about for years. She also noticed I hadn't measured the ceiling height and that we'd need more tiles to cover the full wall. Her attention to detail saved me a lot of trouble.

Chahrazade is a polite, hardworking professional, and the whole Bathroom and Kitchen team deserves recognition (and a pay rise!).

Wickes Chadwell Heath, you're clearly doing something right. The staff are friendly, and as someone who has lived in the area my whole life, it's great to see you're still here after all these years.

Excellent service from Asif Patel at Wickes

Asif Patel was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He understood that I was working to a strict budget and found a solution that worked for me. Wickes' 0% finance deal over 3 years fit my budget perfectly, and I also received a 10% discount thanks to their current promotion (running until 5th October 2026).

Asif was honest and realistic about delivery, explaining that items should arrive within 2–3 weeks, while noting that delays can sometimes happen in the current climate. I really appreciated his transparency.

I've lived in the area for 45 years, and it's wonderful to see Wickes still standing strong. It's one of the only businesses that has been here since my childhood. I'm confident they'll continue to provide the same friendly service, and I'm looking forward to my delivery.

I ordered a Kitchen delivery arrived 1 item missing then contacted the store left message no reply also Jamil Khan was the consultant did not reply email or return phone call typical sell it take your money then ignore you.

I needed to get paint (2 - 10 litre buckets) and didnt realise how heavy they were . But a very nice man by the name of SHREY was on hand to help , and help he did . He carried them to my car and put them in the boot. Some shops wont even leave the store to help customers.
So I congratulate this man on a job well done .

Extremely poor and unacceptable customer service from Wickes.
I booked a confirmed appointment for 9:00am and waited until 10:00am, but nobody turned up. I received absolutely no call or message to let me know that the appointment had been cancelled or that nobody was coming.
I had to call the store myself only to be told that they were not coming. I was then told that a manager would call me shortly. No one called.
I had to chase them again and call the store a second time. I finally spoke to a manager name asif who again promised to call me back. Once again, nobody followed up, and I am still waiting for that call.
This is simply unacceptable. I made time for the appointment and waited for an 1 and half hour, only to be left without any explanation. What makes it worse is that I had to repeatedly chase the store myself, while both staff and management failed to keep their promises.
Customers' time should be respected. If Wickes cannot attend a confirmed appointment, they should have the basic courtesy to inform the customer in advance. Promising to call back and then ignoring the customer is extremely unprofessional.
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this experience. The lack of communication reliability and accountability is completely unacceptable.
I expected a professional service from a well-known company like Wickes but unfortunately that is not what I received.
Very poor service. Very poor communication. A complete waste of my time. I would not recommend Wickes based on this experience.

On behalf of a local Primary School we applied for some resources to help improve our EYFS provision. Through Wickes Community Programme, Laura from Wickes could not have been more helpful and supportive, I was really grateful for how kind she was. Wickes have donated some amazing resources that will really make a difference to the learning of our children! Thank you!!

I had a really positive experience today with Jamil who helped us design kitchen furniture. He was extremely polite and helpful throughout the whole process. He was always patient, approachable and had a lovely smile, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. He listened carefully to my ideas and gave me useful advice to help create the kitchen I wanted.
