I now have a wonderful bathroom thanks to Wickes.
My experience with the Wickes staff, from the initial design, through to the installation, final clear up and the customer service following the bathroom’s completion was exemplary.

Rupert completed the design in a thorough and professional way. He measured the room, took onboard our suggestions and made some recommendations to enhance the bathroom further. In store, he showed us what the bathroom would look like, and we tweaked the design where necessary. Once we had agreed to a design, he explained when the bathroom was to be delivered and that an installer would contact us shortly. The installer, Gospodin was his name, duly contacted and arranged to look at the room, where he explained the installation process. He also set a date for the installation. The goods were delivered as promised, 3 days before the start of the planned installation date.

On the first day of the installation, Gospodin arrived and told me exactly what he planned to do on the day. At the end of the day, he showed me what he had done and explained what the plan was for the next day. Gospodin did this every day, so I knew exactly what to expect. On that first day, before he started any work, Gospodin laid down carpet protector, and put up dust sheets on the bathroom door to prevent as much dust as possible from entering the rest of the house. At the end of each day, he swept the entire hallway and stairs to try to get rid of as much of any dust as possible. I was very impressed with his cleanliness throughout the entire process. Gospodin arrived on time each morning, whereupon he did not stop until the work he had promised to do that morning was completed. Gospodin would consult with me whenever he wanted to explain or confirm a design issue, be it the formation of the tiles or even the position of the spotlights. On the last day of the installation, Gospodin found that the shower unit did not work properly. I was able to receive a replacement unit within the hour. What fantastic service!

On completion of the installation, Gospodin arranged the electrical certificate and for a clean up crew to take the rubbish away. These were done inside three days.

I have nothing but praise to give to Rupert, and his team in The Colonnades, Purley Way store, whom I was in constant communication with throughout the entire process. But my most sincerest praise goes to the installer Gospodin, whose timeliness, cleanliness and communication throughout gave me piece of mind during the installation and has led to a bathroom that I am really proud of.

Shaun helped me with some measurements for flooring today and was so patient and thorough. I felt at ease and was happy with my purchase.

Being i the trade I am usually going into a lot Wickes branches around London.

My favourite branch is the Croydon Collonaddes.

The branch is clean, tidy and the stock is majority of time on the shelves.

All the staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

The two staff members that have helped me are Vasunan and Janae.

If you are local to Croydon you have to try them out you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely outstanding customer service in this store - specifically the showroom! I spoke to lovely Michael and he helped me design my dream bathroom that I’ve been wanting to do for a fair few years. We are just having the finishing touches done and I cannot wait to use my beautiful new bath! Michael made the whole process much less daunting and provided excellent advice. I would thoroughly recommend paying this store a visit if you are looking at undertaking your next big project.

Went in to Wickes a few weeks ago and wanted to design my bathroom and was blown away with the knowledge and advice given by the kitchen designer Elise. Was a extremely clean store and seemed to well organised. I definitely recommend this store and especially the design team.

Went to Wickes Purley Way and had great customer service. From the girls on the shop floor helping load flooring to the gents helping us put it in the car. Nathan was very helpful with the amount of flooring needed and ringing us up

I have visited this place and I can tell this place is very cleaned and organised with very friendly workers, they are very knowledgeable and respectful I cannot recommend this place enough

I experienced kindness, quick action from Janae who was working the tills when a passer by saw my mobile phone outside Wickes front door. She gave it to Janae, Janae saw the line was live and made a call on my phone to the person who was by this time sitting in the car with me.
Her quick thinking and broad smile when I arrived to collect it added to my joy! Thank you.

Had a leak from toilet waste connection in December 2022. The bathroom was only 1 1/2 years old.
This leak affected my downstairs neighbour. When the fitter came to fix the leak, he didn't tell me that this leak caused mould to grow on a large portion of the plasterboard and simply sealed it back up after repairs (it's a hidden access panel)

I've only become aware of the mould now in Oct 2024. When I looked back at the video of the leak I sent to the contractor in December 2022 it was definitely there and nothing was mentioned to me at all.

I've recently checked behind my toilet and all this has come to light and I wasn't made aware in December 2022

Wickes are now refusing to help and claim it's out of warranty despite the fact it should have been also repaired when the worker came to fix the leak!

I now need to pay a lot of money to get this fixed privately. My advice would be to stay clear of this company completely.

I was in the store looking for paint samples, the staff were super helpful in recommending what sample I should get which paints work better in certain rooms. The staff were thoughtful and professional 👏🏿

Great service received in the store helping with some prices on fencing, now I know what I need for my project.

I went into Wickes today to pick up supplies for a home project, very impressed with the variety of stock (and it all being readily available)! The customer service is second to none. Will definitely recommend.

I had excellent customer service today from one of the managers, Shaun, who helped me with my issue with patience. I am in the middle of renovating my house and Shaun spent time making sure I was ordering the correct items. I feel very comfortable coming to this store for my project.

Nice to visit this store . Helpful guy he helped us to buy the other brand of paint which we want was out of stock he convinced us he explains the similarity . Good customer service . And in generally I have seen on the tills there was no long ques. I will recommend to other customers as well to come and shop here.
