Excellent and friendly service as always from Leon, I’ve purchased many guitars from Wildwire over the years and I’m always delighted with the service I receive and the valuation of the deals, would highly recommend.

Wildwire are the best guitar shop that I have been to. They always have a great range of stock and are extremely friendly. I have bought a couple of guitars from them over the years and have never been disappointed.

The selection of guitars and amps, etc. is excellent. The very knowledgeable advice given by Leon is superb and not too pushy. Mind you I have ended up coming away with some gear a few times LOL. I purchased a PRS on a previous visit and Leon had to get the particular colour shipped in. Nothing was too much trouble. It came really quickly and was all set up ready for me once it was in store. Very much recommended.

What a fantastic shop. Amazing collection and some fantastic deals. I bought a Prs Myles Kennedy NF53 and the price and service from Leon and the team was second to none. Lovely to see an independent business give such amazing customer service and speaking on the phone to provide the first class shopping experience. They have earned a new lifetime customer.

What a great guitar shop, well worth a visit, I bought a guitar for them about 7 months ago and am highly delighted with it , it was a very pleasant buying experience, no pushy sale people and will answer all you question and give advice when needed, very competitively priced, and very fair on part exchange items, I have recently returned to have my guitar set up and highly delighted with the work done, the thing to me that stands out the most is the owner/ staff are very friendly and actually care about you as a customer and the items they are selling. would recommend giving them a try, you wont be disappointed

Great attention to detail, and to take the time to allow me to try various instruments. At one point we had 4 Les Paul guitars out and ready to plug in, to quickly compare the sound differences!

New discovery… been after a proper local guitar shop for years and what a place. I went in to look at Gibson Les Paul’s and spent a couple of hours chatting to the guys while they brought numerous guitars down for me to view and play. I ended up coming away with a lovely Les Paul and a new amp aswell. A pleasure to deal with and will be returning in the not too distant future!

This is a great guitar shop for the enthusiast, he has a stunning selection of quality guitars, pedals and amps. If you want to buy a great guitar from a proper guitar shop and have a great experience from purchase to after sales then I can't recommend Wildfire enough, Leon will go above and beyond

This is a great company who go the extra mile. We went to get one guitar but we were lucky to find exactly the one my daughter had been looking for - it was second hand and had just come in - they gave good advice without imposing their view and it was clear they they know their stuff. They stayed late so that they could change the strings etc so we didn’t have to make an extra journey to come back on another day. Great customer service and selection of guitars.

I bought a USA Epiphone Casino.
Wildwire did their very best to get it to me quickly and ahead of the weekend.
The guitar was excellent. Really well set up and packaged with care.

Leon went above and beyond to keep me up to date and yes I did get my guitar on time.

I used to play a Guitar in my early 20's and now 54 and wanting to get back into playing, but after numerous searches across the internet was drawing a blank until the night before going into the shop and found them online, and couldn't believe a shop could have as many Guitars as they had, and fate played a part as i was travelling past them the next day. No sooner as i entered the shop, but was put at ease by Dave & Leon who throughout my visit couldn't have been any better with me. I had researched a little, but could have sold me anything and i wouldn't have known, but they were outstanding from start to finish, and their customer service was unbelievable, as it is a little daunting going into a place like this knowing very little, and they could have thought i was a tyre kicker, and gone through the motions and not bothered, but after getting everything together Guitar, Amp etc, i wouldn't hesitate in telling anyone to come here, whether a beginner like me, or a seasoned player. The thing that capped it off for me was them saying "that it's great to see someone comeback into the fold" but saying it with a genuine smile on their face, so thanks guys and you will be seeing plenty more of me from now on!!!!!

We'd been searching for a guitar as an 18th birthday present for quite some time and had first visited Wildwire about 6 months ago (which the guys remembered!). Came back on this occasion to try a specific PRS they had in stock - which was out and waiting for us on our arrival. It wasn't quite right, but another used guitar in fantastic condition was. It needed setting up and so I assumed we'd have to come and pick it up another time, but they had it done (to great effect) within an hour. What I particularly liked was the obvious delight they had in presenting it to be played after they'd set it up - they really do live and breath guitars.

Wow!! How didn’t I know about this place? I’ve been looking for a new guitar for ages and found WildWire in Selby on the net. It looked great, so I popped over. After looking round for a while, one of the guys asked if I was looking for something in particular? I explained what I was looking for and for the next hour and a half I was treated to trying out lots of guitars. They have so many there!! I never felt rushed or pushed but helped in narrowing down my search. In the end, I actually bought two, one electric and one acoustic. Just a side note to say that the shop closed at 6pm but I didn’t leave until 7.30pm. I did apologise as I didn’t realise it had got so late but the guys (father and son…love the fact that this is a family business) just said, not a problem. Even though it was well past closing, they put me a new set of strings on the electric and I was then on my way. What totally amazing service and what is now my favorite guitar shop!!

Got there too early apparently - you have to make an appointment. then told to go and get a coffee till they were ready and when i went back , I really felt i was an annoyance although i was ready to spend probably £1000 with a part exchange deal. Wont be going back again.

I visited Wildwire Guitars in Selby last week and had such a great experience. The team were really friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they’re genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to chat, share their knowledge, and let me try out several guitars until I found the one that just felt right. No pressure at all — just great people who clearly care about helping you find the right instrument. The guitar I bought sounds amazing, and I’ll definitely be going back when I’m ready for my next one.

I used Wildwire Guitars for the first time recently. I purchased a "used like new" guitar and it really was like brand new. I'm very happy with it.

Delivery was quick and the packaging was bomb proof.

I used Wildwire for the first time the other day. If you’re sick of the supermarket guitar shops I would definitely recommend this shop; even if it means travelling it will be worth it. The shop isn’t massive but it has a great range but more than that the people there are knowledgeable, helpful but more importantly honest. It was refreshing to find a guy (didn’t get his name I’m afraid) who knew what he was talking about, took time, allowed me time and was straight. I bought a Gibson Les Paul 50s and cannot fault the way I was dealt with. The guitar is flawless as well.
Highly recommended.
