Willows Veterinary Centre & Referral Service - Solihull Reviews 

Our dog was referred to Willows for an MRI scan. We had already consulted a specialist opthalmologist twice but the eye practice does not have a scanner. The referral resulted in Willows booking her for a consultation, no mention of an MRI scan and no request to starve her before the appointment as if they were intending to perform a scan. We didn't need another separate consultation, just a scan. But there's the rub. They quoted £5,500 to £6,500 for the scan. Another well known referral service that appears regularly on TV has quoted £3,500 to £4,500. I think I might agree with those reviewers who say that Willows is just after your money. I cancelled the appointment!

I knew other pet owners who have had their pets referred to Willows previously and they all said their service was outstanding.

When our dog Mylo was referred to Willows by our vet they said they only recommend Willows as their service is great.

I must say from reception staff to seeing the vet, Johnathan, our boy was looked after. He had his operation and we were kept informed throughout and after too.When we took him home we were given further advice etc and to contact Willows if we had any concerns when back home.

We can’t thank Willows enough.

My cat needed a dental, there was some hiccups with booking it in but once that was resolved the team were fab. James the dentist was amazing with my cat and made him feel really calm.
It is a shame they don't have any male vets for the general care as my cat is calmer around men.

The issue I find with willows is that they don't have a separate waiting room for cats, dogs are loud and scary for a cat in a cage, it would be helpful if they could split the waiting room up into two rooms to make a less intimidating environment for animals which aren't dogs.

I have nothing bad to say about this vets what so ever, there isn’t enough space to put what I need to put. Our baby was referred here on Wednesday after he went missing and was hit by a car. We thought he needed surgery which was a lot but being our baby we didn’t care we needed the best for him. The vet Dr Eugenio was absolutely fantastic, compassionate and extremely informative nothing was to much he was also extremely truthful and honest. Unfortunately my babies spine couldn’t be repaired but his femur could (he didn’t have the surgery as far to complex and risks outweighed the benefits) he’s now home on strict crate rest for 8 weeks and a check up then :) we can’t thank them enough for the kindness compassion and well I’ll definitely use them again without a DOUBT.

Where to even start?! Our regular vet misdiagnosed our frenchie which led to him being really poorly. From his out of hours emergency appointment, being kept in for several nights and having surgery, every part was seamless and we were put at such ease. The reception staff and the vets, especially Catherine, were incredible, helpful, communicated so well and never made me feel worried. The nursing staff are next to non and I could tell how much they cared.
I couldnt begin to imagine where we would be without Willows and their amazing team. I will never go anywhere else!

Reduced the 5 star rating purely on costs which are extortionate. However the care is second to none and the skills of the specialist Alexis Bilmont were 10/10. Key hole surgery for cruciate surgery our dog is already putting some weight through the leg. The expertise is second to none and I am extremely grateful that this wonderful place is within an hours drive - however I would have travelled further to get here.

Part of the Linnaeus group and therefore owned by the Mars corporation I feel a large percentage of the costs are purely profit based although the facilities are excellent and offer specialised services that you just couldn’t get at your local vet

Emergency for my senior husky cross this evening.
My registered vet clinic out of hours wasnt very helpful but found willows they was amazing from my frantic call to getting seen, advice, care,consideration.... just everything!

SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND UNDERSTANDING. DELT WITH MY PETS ISSUES BY PLANING A SCHEDULE OF VARIOUS ACTIONS TO IMPLEMENT. BEING A DIABETIC DOG THIS THREW ALOT OF CHALLENGES WHICH WORKED.

Fabulous experience at the Willows. My cat Freddie was referred on Tuesday 7 July for hospitalisation following bouts of vomiting and possible lily toxicity. Excellent communication from them at all times. Clear explanations of follow up treatments administered. Morning call received from Consultant following morning rounds with recommendations of further treatment. Assurance given at all times. Staff very helpful. Discharged today 9 July, again with full follow up information.

Willow’s Vet Hospital are absolutely amazing they have looked after my cat Coco during his stay before his surgery and after having his surgery l can’t thank them enough. And l would recommend them to anyone who is in need of their help. Thankyou to all staff and surgeons you are all amazingly wonderful in your jobs and in every way as possible. Brilliants vets and service.

The emergency out of hours team were just wonderful - very calm and helpful on the phone, planned ahead for my arrival with my injured pet, helped me know what to expect and do, and everyone I interacted with was kind, gentle, and just excellent at their jobs. A big big thank you, and couldn’t rate highly enough.

My dog has been a patient here for over 6 months and all the staff, from the lovely nurses to the brilliant vets, have done everything possible to help her. Cannot recommend the Willows highly enough.

We had a referral to the Willows with an eye issue in our dog. Right from the start the process felt reassuring. As things turned out the eye issue wasn’t Winnie’s only problem. This was quickly picked up by Rodrigo the eye consultant. He spoke with a neurosurgeon Seb and they admitted Winnie straight away. An MRI confirmed she had meningitis. We were totally shocked and obviously devastated. We were treated with compassion from everyone within the Willows. Explanations of procedures and next steps were given at every stage. We bought Winnie home 2 days later with full instructions of how to administer drugs & eye treatments with a follow up in a week. I have no doubt that without the skills of the team at the Willows we would have lost her
