Ordered a wine rack over two months ago and it has still not arrived. There was an initial one-month delay in processing the order. Once shipped, the tracking information provided is not up to date, and claims a delivery was attempted but there's no note left, and the courier website is useless. It's impossible to find out where the delivery is. They take weeks to reply to emails. There's no phone number for the courier to be able to speak to a person.

Very surprised by the bad reviews below. I recently ordered a couple of wine racks which arrived 3 days later, delivered from Germany by DHL. Top quality product at a reasonable price. Beautiful and sturdy design, easily assembled in a few minutes
I wish I had read all the terrible reviews before ordering. Items are woefully delayed, no one answers the phone, emails not answered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
Spent £50 on wine rack and it took about 12 weeks to come. I emailed them and they apologised. Its fine we aren't desperate however, when it came the quality was horrendous. It arrived splintered, not sanded and not treat properly. It didnt look like the photo and has just been a total waste of time and money
It was like a GCSE D.T. project. I would 100% not recommend this company.
If I could give this zero stars, I would. The items were quoted as 28 day delivery which I didn't query due to the current situation, however it did seem very long. The delivery date came and went and no sign of the items or communication about why they hadn't been received. I emailed the company several times and finally got an answer. Received the items a week later and they were such a disappointing quality (misadvertised colour, not sanded properly so huge splinters coming away from the struts, patchy varnishing that left black residue on anything it touched) that I have requested a refund. Yet to see how long it will take them to respond, but very disappointing service from start to finish.
Very very slow to deliver and poor quality ,badly finished wine rack when delivered. Cannot recommend.
I ordered a £69.00 Simplex wine rack on 17 May 2020. To date I have been trying to chase them up with voicemail and email with no success. They are simply not answering any communications. Totally shambolic despite their first class web page; not even an email to say it has been delayed or cancelled! I am considering reporting them under The Trade Descriptions Act after looking at these other reviews....
18/06/2020 - Since posting this review, Winerack came back to say that the item would be delayed for up to 60 days. I replied that was unacceptable and cancelled the order!
Absolutely horrific, my sister ordered a wine rack at the beginning of December for my Christmas present. Still hasn’t arrived in May - 6 months!!!! no one is coming back to me and no idea to offer a replacement.. terrible customer service, no urgency or idea of how to keep a customer happy.
I have ordered a wine rack from these on the 8th February and still to this day have not received the item.
I ordered my wine rack on the 8th February which the estimated waiting time was 24 days. This came and went and still no wine rack so I contacted them open a number of occasions which on the 3rd time finally received an email back telling me that my order was going to be delayed by 6 - 8 weeks. This has now been and gone and still no wine rack.
I contacted them again and after a number of attempts they emailed back again telling me it was still delayed with no reason why, just saying that it would be another 4 weeks. I have tried to contact them to understand why and I feel that my calls and emails are being ignored.
I would not recommend buying from WineRack Plus as the service is appalling, and the lead time is shocking when they are still stating online is now stating there is a 13 day lead time on the item I ordered.
Take your money else where and get a proper service that customers deserve.
Ordered a rustic triple box stand-alone wine rack, fantastic looking product on line, albeit a tad expensive but as it was very different to the the more mundane examples I’d seen I decided to go for it. Paid on line expecting a confirmation email of the order as was indicated and is usual practice. Didn’t receive one so went on their website and raised a query concerned that I hadn’t given them the correct email address. The following day no response and still no email so thought I‘d check Trust Pilot (which I should have done in the first place in hindsight) and saw these poor reviews. Have since been onto my bank who are in the process of stopping the transaction.
Very disappointed.
2nd Feb - placed order, was told 17 days for delivery.
1st March - after giving them some extra time, asked where my order was.
3rd March - get response about "unexpected manufacturing delays" which mean it might take another 6 weeks for the item to be sent. No proactive messaging despite being already 2 weeks late with the delivery, no offer of a replacement or refund.
I got back to them asking if they could at least send a replacement, then was told they did not have any similar items in stock. I mean... it's a wine rack. From an online store specialising in wine racks, unless, of course, it's completely out of wine racks.
If you can't deliver to a customer in 72 days when you initially told then 17, you should give them an alternative option even if it's maybe a bit pricier or at least offer a complete refund, partial refund if agreeing to wait for the product, refund of the delivery charge or a discount on a more expensive model, but nothing, just a "sorry".
Also very bad customer service that there was no warning of a delay when the time to delivery was so exact (17 days rather than "up to 3 weeks" initially).
To add insult to injury, the same model is still currently listed as available and to be delivered within 20 days on the website.
Reading the other review on here I would advise others to stay away, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this wine rack will eventually appear, but I won't be holding my breath. Had I known it'd be 2 1/2 months minimum for delivery I certainly would have ordered elsewhere, and the fact that new customers are still being told the items are available is not inspiring trust.
Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received.
We spent around £800 on an order for a new wine cellar we were building within our Farm Shop. We fell in love with the cube racking system and wanted to use it as a feature in the new room. We purchase the items on 12/07/19 and paid immediately through the online system. The expected delivery was 19-23 days, which was longer than we really wanted but we were prepared to wait. The 23 days came and went, so I reached out to the customer service for the first time on 05/08/19, I was then informed it would take a further 10 days, due to a lack of stock. I had to then contact them again on the 23/08/19 to find out where our order was. I should point out, that emails sometimes take several days to be answered and sometimes completely ignored – And don’t bother trying to phone, you’ll speak to the answer machine more than a person! On the 06/09/19 we finally received a tracking number for our shipment and was told it may take 5 days to arrive. After the 5 days had passed, I tried phoning the customer service several time throughout the day without success. I then decided to contact the Courier company direct on 13/09/19, who stated that our package was awaiting payment and confirmation from the sender! We finally received our order 17/09/19! This was 67 days after purchase! Thankfully the products are very nice, but that certainly does not justify the wait and lack of customer service we received. No one has yet to email to ask if we are happy with the products and to apologise for the long wait. I would certainly not recommend using this company.
