Expired rebate card
I recently found a rebate card that was expired a couple months ago. I called the 800 number and asked for a replacement card, but they told they wouldn't and hung up on me! I'm not happy that they just take people's money like that!

I have experienced fraud TWICE while using my direct deposit card with this company. Both of the people I talked to were apparently the highest tier of the company and one of the men were SUPER rude and unhelpful. As corporate they had NO idea what sunrise banks even was was or where it was located. If you don't know, Sunrise Banks is the bank on the actual card that Wirecard apparently works with.CORPORATE claimed they had no affiliation though Sunrise banks is written at the top of the cards they issue. The only thing I asked them was why transactions can be made without a pin number (if it is a debit card) and how did someone get my security code if the card is in my possession 24/7 and no one at corporate had an answer. Wirecard's "corporate" is a joke.The lady from corporate on the phone with me was awkwardly silent for a while because she had no answers for me and just kept repeating that it could take 10-90 days to get my money back. This company is working with OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. They at least need to know where the bank they are affiliated with is located.

A true nightmare
After having my account hacked and my card was blocked, I was offered no alternative to withdraw any money. Therefore, the only suggestion WIRECARD gave me was to transfer money online from my account to a friend's account or relative. After being without any money for days, I decided to do an online transfer to a friend of over 600 dollars. The money immediately left my account and never made it to my friend's account. It's been over 15 business days since the money left my account. After calling WIRECARD to inquire about it, they simply informed me that they don't know where the money went. Even though it was their mistake, to put my money somewhere I did not authorize, they provide no prompt solution. Now I'm being asked to wait 2 to 3 weeks for an investigation on top of the 15 business days I've already been waiting for the money to go to my friend's account. I filed a complaint last week and just checked for updates and the answer is always the same. WIRECARD just asks for more and more time, trying to buy time and leave their customers with no solution at all.

Having a horrible experience with very basic function.
I got a virtual card and for some reason the password I use generate with a password manager wasn't save. Ok this part is on me. Fine.
I attempt to use forgot password, and it keeps saying to call to verify contact information. Multiple calls to customer service got run around to verify information and was told to wait 2 hours for system to update. Fine. But nope, still doesn't work. Called again and was told it will be escalate to manager for password reset (24-48 hours) I can't fathom how it take so long.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. I do not know why this company exist. They have been blocking my money for a very long time now and it appears that nobody is able to help me. It has been my 6 th time I have been calling them and they just say that they are escalating my case and still nothing is happening I just want this matter to be resolved and still nothing. Terrible

I have not received the card yet and now the expiration date has passed on the original card. I cannot get through to customer service after 2 hours. I never had this terrible of service with CitiBank...

Computer or human respondent?
The reason for interaction is we are working on a dispute resolution, as we were scammed by an online website. It has now been almost 90 days, with no resolution yet. The interaction via email has left a lot to be desired as well. It feels like I'm corresponding with a computer, and the updates have been lacking. All-in-all, not the warmest process.
I should have also mentioned that the email responding was typically 12-24 hours later. Apparently I should have posted on here earlier, as I received a resolution/response from them within 90 mins. I do appreciate the response & resolution! Thank you!

Quick and easy
Easy to work with. I called them and they immediately sent an email with instructions to follow regarding my claim. Got the fraud charges refunded in under 30 days with minimal effort on my part. People I spoke with on phone were willing to answer all my questions and we're kind.

Had over 3 dozen transactions occur from Russia, and other European countries. Many were blocked, but my account was drained of over $2500. I was never notified of this activity. Now I have to wait 45 days or more to see if my claim is legit.

The synopsis provided perfectly…
The synopsis provided perfectly encapsulates the Prepaid Fraud department in Wirecard's Conshohocken PA office. Very rude and unprofessional. Nearly impossible to find anyway to speak to someone there. Any contact numbers go to a call center in India where they just regurgitate the same script of innocuous answers designed to cause an informational brick wall. Had to contact the BBB before they decided to complete their obligations to the customer. I have a hard time believing an international company of this magnitude allows or condones such rampant ineptitude.

I requested they review fraudulent charges on my account and they reviewed the charges that I verified as ok. 😕 Poor service as they did not do their job. Took 3 phone calls just to get an email which indicated that they verified wrong charges. They had me on phone for half an hour verifying information with two different people and they still got it wrong. I verified my address and they still sent information to wrong address. They don't allow you to talk to fraud department. I have to write a letter and go back to company where charges are were made. Not happy. On an added note...Now they want me to contact them because of the bad review and the phone number provided below connects me to the people who couldn't help me before...nice...not!! I've already done the job that they couldn't take the time to do. I managed to get a thorough investigation done by going directly to the company in question. They took the time to do a proper investigation and provide a refund. Maybe next time Wirecard should train their personnel on how to do a proper investigation and pay more attention to the details given and that were right in front of them on the paperwork that they provided to me.
