They charge and arm and a leg for shipping, and an $11 restocking fee! I initiated a return that doesn't even show up in my account. Sorting this out has required numerous calls and chats w/ customer service. I will never order from them again, the absolute worst!
BOYCOTT WOMAN WITHIN PLEASE
Several months ago I ordered 2 blouses and 7 skirts in two orders placed two days apart. I ordered per the size their sizing chart provides. When the clothes came they were so huge the skirts wouldn't stay on at all, they fell off over my hips, yet they said they were the size I ordered. I considered guessing and asking for an exchange, but oh, no, these creeps will refund only a portion of what is returned, keeping a good hunk supposedly for restocking fees and likely an alcoholic boozing victory session. Also, since what I had purchased was on sale, they also told me that this would be two separate orders and they'd refund a portion of the cost of what was returned and I'd have to pay the higher price for any exchange purchases I made, as it would be a new order. Not only are these people liars with their sizing chart, they have figured out a way, probably legal though not ethical or moral, to cheat and scam their customers because of their dishonest lying sizing chart. I did return these grossly oversized clothes, but I did NOT reorder, nor will I ever order from them again. Very sadly Woman Within is a "sister company" to several other companies and as far as I'm concerned the dishonesty and scam of Woman Within has affected my opinion of all the "sister companies" as well. So a bunch of clothing companies who sell cheap poor quality clothing are now on my boycott list. Thankfully there are some really good stores with good quality clothing who don't lie or cheat their customers, but stand behind their promises, the total opposite of Woman Within. I'm very much a Woman WITHOUT person.
T-shirts are advertised 100% cotton. They are now 60% cotton/40% polyester.
I have been ordering clothing from Woman Within for the last 15 years, but I am done with this company due to shady practices. I ordered three t-shirts that are advertised as 100% cotton. These are the same shirts I have been ordering for years. They are now 60% cotton/40% polyester, and they are rough like sandpaper! The sizing tag that is sewn into the side is usually made of soft nylon, and now it is made of plastic. If you cut the tag off, you have to sew the side of the shirt, since it is sewn into the seam. I will be donating two of the shirts now, since they have already been washed. The third one that was returned was charged a return fee of $9.99, even though the item was falsely advertised. Customer service is absolutely worthless! There should be some class action suit against a company that lies about their product and has such a shady return policy. They will no longer get any money from me!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! I will NEVER shop with them again! They sent my receipt to someone else and refused to send me a copy. AND sent my package to a Wal Mart in a different city. They refused to call FedEx to modify the shipping address. Im trying to coordinate with Walmart to get my package. Woman Within berated me and said it was my fault. Talked to me with a shocking level of disrespect. Avoid at all cost. Will be reporting to BBB.

I have been using this company for over 15 years and have generally been pretty happy with my purchases. They sell basic, timeless, larger sized clothing at reasonable prices with nice color selections. The clothing is not made to last forever, but at least with their reasonable pricing, I get my money's worth.
I have to be careful and selective, however, to avoid needing to return things, because shipping costs and return shipping costs are high, and it is difficult to deal with customer service (the usual call center waits for ignorant reps that almost every company, even with higher prices, subjects customers to).
I tend to order in batches, e.g., when I have a major discount promo, and stick with mostly time-proven items. I also like that they allow payment with paypal which avoids credit card confusion.

Shutty company
When you find somethihg you are interested in, and say, the description is "woven cotton," there is no way to find out if it is 100% cotton. I looked online, I examined the catalog, and finally I called them. After going through two levels of phone trees, I was put on hold and told all operators were busy. This is at almost 8pm Eastern time. I held for almost 5 mintues and hung up. I don't think I have bought anything from them in any years, if ever. They send probably one catalog a week. But they can't be bothered to employ (enough) people to answer the phone.
Shipping rip off - two swimsuits
Ordered two swimsuits. I had to pay $20.98 for shipping. Well i had to send them back and they charged me $10.99 to send back. I spent $32 on shipping with nothing to show for it. Why do they charge you double to send to you? Most companies offer free shipping and or returns. Guess I will stick to Amazon. RIP OFF!

I have been a customer for many years. I like women because the things I buy there fit well and wear well. But my most recent purchase fell well below expectations and I didn't realize it in time to do a return. The waistband on the new cords i ordered is not the same as all my other pairs. On all my others the waistband is sewed in. The two new ones the elastic is inserted. It rolls and is very uncomfortable. I wanted to add the two new colors to my wardrobe but do to the discomfort at the waist these two pair have gone into the donation bag.

I tried to place an order with woman within and our discover card was declined. They wanted another card. Very instant on wanting another card number ,this made me very uncomfortable. We had just used our discover card so we called discover and they hadn't even seen anything try to come through from woman within. This used to be an ok company, now all I have to say is RUN, RUN fast. Terrible customer service, could not understand what the woman was trying to say. I will never use this company again. Stay away unless you like having a headache.

Told them I never received new card. Said they will send new one. This was in November, 2022. Still haven't received a card nor any statement, yet still trying to bill me. I have called at least 5 times with no results. Sent in a dispute form, heard nothing. I will not shop here ever again. They love taking your money, but service is lousy. I'm so angry and no longer know where to turn.

I am sure this won't be posted but, do not order from this company. I have done so for decades and when I returned something it didn't cost me. NOW they charge you for shipping TO you (of course) and if you return something no matter what the reason, they charge you to RETURN it to them. I will NEVER order from them again nor recommend them. By the time all of this is done, you get a credit of next to nothing.
misrepresented merchandise and poor service
The operator admitted on the phone that the pants I ordered were described as "pure cotton" in the catalog but were actually 90% polyester/10% nylon, that it was a "misprint", but they took no responsibility. She flatly refused to give me her name or pass me to a supervisor. What a waste of time and money.

Got the credit card to take advantage of the first order discount. Was approved but never received the card. Customer service said I was approved. Said I wanted my discount. CS said I needed the code they sent. Never got the code. Returned an order for store credit, purchased something else with the credit. They billed my credit card full price of the replacement items. Just don’t use this vendor.
Bogus Charges on my bank account
Most of the clothes I got were okay. There were some that were oversized and their sizing system is not real great. However my biggest beef with them is that I've been having random charges ever since I bought Christmas gifts for myself and my family. I just had a charge of over $20 put onto my account and I haven't bought anything from them for over 4 weeks. I am putting a stop payment on my account with these people. I advise you all to do the same. They think we won't notice.

Never received a bill for 3 months and was charged unreal in late fees and nothing could be done about it . Had to call twice to get my account closed out when I never received my credit card to start with . Do not apply for a credit card just to get a discount in the beginning u will end up paying 3 times more than u suppose to have saved .

Once upon a time, Woman within and fullbeauty were my go to shops for plus sizes. These days, even with huge sales discounts, they want $50+AU for a t-shirt/tunic with pleats. Desperate for neat and tidy clothes, I put 5 items in the cart, went through checkout, and postage came in at $75AU. It's a sad state of affairs when you can't find nice, pretty, big girl, budget friendly clothing in Aus. I won't be going back to this site no matter how desperate I need clothing.
Shipping costs too high
I used to love ordering from Womanwithin. The clothes are pretty well made and true to size. However, their shipping is completely ridiculous. I had $60 worth of discounted items and as I went to check out saw that it would cost almost $17 to ship ground! No thank you. Unless I have a promo code for free shipping I won't be shopping here again. They should take better care of their loyal customers. Heading to Amazon to find something similar with free shipping!
False advertising
I just received my catalog and wanted to order 4 things. The catalog said you get free shipping if the purchase is over 50$. That’s not true. If the item is back ordered the free shipping doesn’t apply. All the items I wanted to order were back ordered. Nowhere in the catalog does it say that. That is false advertising. Needless to say I canceled the order. I will never order from them again! If you have a return and paid one price they only give you the discounted price. Who is to say that the whole catalog is back ordered?
