Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 183 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers express significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful and difficult to access, often leading to unresolved issues and frustration. The product itself also receives criticism, with some reporting consoles breaking within a year and others finding the gaming experience, particularly online, to be poor due to issues like high ping and constant updates. A major point of contention is the pricing, with many feeling that the costs for subscriptions and games are too high and have increased significantly without a corresponding increase in value or quality. The subscription model, particularly Game Pass, is frequently criticized for its rising price and perceived lack of new, high-quality titles, leading many to question its value. Conversely, some people also felt that the consoles are reliable and offer good value, with a selection of entertaining games, and some appreciate the convenience of Game Pass.

Xbox has just ended online gaming

Xbox game pass ultimate price rise is unacceptable. Pure greed by Microsoft. Just cancelled my subscription, and will most likely never play online again. Online gaming has just been killed by corporate greed.

Just too expensive

I've been with xbox from the start, spent a lot of money on consoles and games over the years and I've got a lot of value from gamepass since it's launch. Unfortunately the substantial price hike of gamepass ultimate is just too greedy for me. I've been thinking of moving to a PC for gaming for a while now and Microsoft has made the decision very easy. It's really a shame but £23 per month is far too much

My son's account was hacked

My son's account was hacked. I have literal messages from the hacker saying he hacked the account. I sent all of it to them and they assured me they would help, told me it could take 15 days to 2 months. Less than 24 hours later I got a message saying the account is not compromised and they will be doing nothing to help. Some random guy just stole an entire account full of hundreds of games from my son and they are just like oh well. Well you can trust we'll never purchase or use another Microsoft or Xbox anything again.

Good old days

I remember playing xbox 360 and One S, but those days are gone. However, the memories stay with me always! I was always questioning what to get, playstation or xbox, but i got attracted to the gamepad of xbox more, because it was more comfortable, and it gotmy fav by the time game HALO. Recently opened my old xbox and played it again, what a nostalgia, what a story behind the game…

Microsoft stolen my account.

My XBOX account with all games and achievements has been blocked. So basically I have spent a lot of money on games and they just blocked it because I looks like me are trying to log in a weird way. I could not verify my account as they do not send the code to my phone. And there is 0 ways to contact them if you can not log in. Basically they have stolen my money and blocked their user.

If I rate 0 stars I would

If I rate 0 stars I would

I bought a brand-new Xbox just over a month ago, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare ever since. I ran into an issue almost immediately, and despite trying every single official support option — nothing has been resolved.

The “Contact Us” feature is completely broken. I was only able to speak to someone once, and after that, I was blocked from calling back using the same number. No one follows up. There’s no escalation path, no email support, and no way to get real help. I’ve been left chasing shadows for weeks, relying on forums and articles to try to fix something that should have been handled by Xbox support from the start.
I’ve wasted countless hours reading help pages, trying to get through to someone, and dealing with a system that’s clearly designed to avoid responsibility. The most frustrating part? I still don’t have a resolution — over a month later.

Xbox seriously needs to take accountability for the state of its customer service. It is beyond unacceptable. For a premium product and global brand, this level of support is disgraceful.

Joke of a company

Turned xbox on for it to say network ban recieved. This meaning my £500 purchase and few hundred on games to is for the bin as its totally locked.theres nobody at all you can speak to about it. Had an xbox since the very 1st one and the newest version ever since.the only email I received was saying the ban is for displaying sexual content which didn't happen In any form and literally play 1 game in call of duty so not even sure how it's possible to display anythin on there. Fuming lost so much money and they claim they don't need to show you any form of proof or anythin

Why no physical disc version of dying…

Why no disc version of dying light the beast because you have lost from my understanding a lot of sales for this , I won't be buying even though I loved dying light 1+2 and dlc I bought them on disc, but the idea of being forced to pay for it and it can be taken away for instance by Xbox account closure or not be resellable if I didn't like it really is bs ,I have a series X I and many others prefer a physical copy ,also after receiving a I have to show Xbox id I'm 52 and have had my account for 9 years , feels like papers, next year you will also be loosing my ultimate or core payments to so good luck keeping your profits up because I know I'm not the only person feeling like this 💩🤬

Banned permanently for no reason

I haven't played minecraft in years, tried to play and it says my Xbox live account permanently suspended without even giving a reason when I don't even use xbox.
I didn't do anything, I play singleplayer only, I was somehow banned in 2024 but I haven't even touched minecraft since last decade, I only use steam.
I can't access my minecraft account that I paid for in 2010, how is it legal to prevent players from buying what they paid for when I never broke any rules in the game unless my account was hacked yet I was able to use the same password and had no notification.
