Your salesmen were very helpful in working through what I needed in my Desktop build. The checkout process and your wavering prices day to day was painful! In addition to that it is coming up on a month since I ordered my computer and they haven't even started building it yet, let alone shipping.

dont do it

the initial buying part was super simple. less than 2 months later pc broke sent back got damage had to pay for new parts. fast forward a year later im having gpu issues and I make a ticket request for repair they immediately close the ticket roughly 24 hours later. no response no help nothing. I highly recommend building your own or finding someone local that will help you. I will never buy another product from this company

Look elsewhere - they do not test

I purchased a $5,000 custom Sager laptop from XoticPC. It arrived with non-working external ports, and I had to buy Windows 11 just to prove it. I then paid $300 to ship it back for repairs. Months later, I was told I’d need to pay again to get it shipped back. The motherboard was faulty from the start, despite their claim that all laptops are tested. XoticPC’s service is slow, expensive, and unreliable—look elsewhere.

Thank you for your response, but I need to clarify a few points for anyone reading:

While the laptop is built by Sager, XoticPC is the distributor and the company I purchased from, responsible for delivering a fully functional system. Their website claims that all laptops are tested before shipping — clearly, this was not done in my case, as the external ports did not work out of the box.

Having to purchase Windows 11 just to prove the ports didn’t work, pay $300 to ship the system for repairs, and then wait months for resolution, demonstrates a failure on XoticPC’s part to ensure their product meets basic functionality before shipping. Shifting blame to Sager does not change that the system left XoticPC’s hands defective, and I should not bear the cost and delay caused by their testing and quality control failure.

For prospective buyers: XoticPC distributes and assembles systems using Sager parts, but they claim to test all laptops themselves — which they did not in my experience. Their service is slow, expensive, and unreliable. Look elsewhere if you want a fully tested, functional laptop without months of hassle.

The system purchased was a Sager-built laptop. Sager is the manufacturer and performs hardware-level diagnostics on all systems prior to shipment, regardless of whether an operating system is included. An operating system is not required to validate motherboard or port functionality during factory testing.

When the issue was identified, the system was processed through Sager’s warranty channel and the motherboard was replaced under warranty. This is the appropriate resolution for a hardware fault and does not indicate the system was knowingly shipped defective.

For customers located in Canada, return shipping and reshipment costs for warranty service are the customer’s responsibility. This is a standard cross-border policy due to customs, brokerage, and international freight costs, and it applies both to XOTIC PC and Sager. These terms are disclosed at the time of purchase.

We understand that extended timelines and international shipping costs can be frustrating, especially with a high-value purchase. Our team worked to coordinate the repair with the manufacturer and remains available to assist further. We encourage the customer to contact us directly if there are any remaining concerns, as we are always willing to help work toward a resolution.
