Yacht Getaways Reviews 

It is extremely disappointing that Yacht Getaways would not cancel and refund our June 2020 sailing when we cannot travel to Greece due to travel restrictions and the current world pandemic. Instead, they are offering to let us reschedule the trip to another date; however, there is no certainty about when it will be safe to travel again which makes it undesirable to bump out the trip by a few months. I have 2 other tours booked this year and both companies allowed the trips to be cancelled with a full refund. Yacht Getaways had the opportunity to do the right thing here and they did not.

We spent a week in the Aeolian Islands off Sicily. The yacht, the crew, the food the weather and our previously unknown companions all exceeded our expectations. Matthew was a capable careful skipper. Nathalie's local knowledge and the amazing food she prepared for us made our time very special. They both looked after us so well and were great company.

We loved our experience on Yacht Getaways. It was very well organised, the boat was clean and the food was fabulous. The locations we went to around Croatia were well thought out to avoid any winds or rough waters and crowds, it was a really memorable holiday. Also, the boat captain and boat hand were exceptional and could not have made us all feel more comfortable, welcome and cared for. I highly recommend this trip.

Sailed Prestige class in Greece September 2019. Before I left I was a bit grumpy about being assigned the smaller midship cabin but I worried about nothing - the cabin yes, was small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The overall experience was fantastic.
Our sail was delayed due to wind but the company put us up in posh lodgings, arranged tours and entertainment for us, cooked phenomenal meals (like five star restaurant meals - Rosie is a brilliant cook), and company management came out to ensure the guests were happy and well cared for (thanks, Jake!).
Once we did board, the size of the cabin no longer mattered to me. The boat was large and comfortable, my fellow passengers were fun, and The Cyclades might be the most beautiful spot on Earth. The skippers Rosie and Adam took great care of us. We had a fantastic time and I’m already eyeing up Croatia with Yacht Getaways for my next big adventure.

This was a great trip from Trogir to Dubrovnik. Helen was our hostess and Bea was the skipper. Helen prepared some outstanding meals in the small galley. Fresh and different every day. Bea took us to some great locations. Always a two or three stop during the day and usually an anchorage at night with a nearby restaurant. We had some good excursions usually in the afternoon. Lots of swimming off the back of the boat. Our shipmates were well matched. Not sure if that was intentional but we all got along. Although the cabins are small they are more than adequate with ensuite toilets and shower. After all all we used them for was sleeping. We would have liked to be under sail more often. However it was a matter of using the motor and reaching our destination sooner. Or sail and have less time at anchor. We plan to sail again with Yacht Getaways.

Great experience. Very nice catamaran, spacious and comfortable and clean at all times. Staff was excellent. Meals delicious. Highly recommend.

It was the highlight of our time in Europe! The crew made our sailing experience fun and enjoyable! The food was amazing and our cabin was roomy and comfortable. I’d sail with Yacht Getaways again!

Corfu is stunning. I wish we had more than one week; the cruising was relaxing and hard on my waistline. This was our second trip with Yacht Getaways, they do an excellent job. We are looking forward to our next one.

Captain was wonderful. His first mate, not so much. We ended up cooking meals a couple of times, as she was "sick". Just a super uncomfortable dynamic between the two of them. The cabin restrooms were not cleaned, nor the trash emptied without our asking. That really put a damper on the experience.

Amazing Experience
We absolutely loved our entire experience on Yacht Getaways. Great hosts - Mayan & Elizabeth - lovely, professional and very helpful with the booking of all the additional activities and restaurant recommendations. The boat was lovely and better than we expected - plenty of space for 8 people. Highly recommend.

AMAZING , AND IN MY VIEW THE BEST WAY TO EXPLORE GREECE!!!

Brilliant first ever yachting holiday! We sailed from Dubrovnik to Split with 5 friends - everything was great, from the initial enquiry, the booking process, any queries we had, right through to the end of the holiday. The crew, Jack & Buffy, were fantastic. I’ve been converted!!

Nino and Alice are the best! Yacht Getaways hit a home run again with this dynamic duo! Nino is a very experienced captain and Alice is a dynamite chef. What a pleasure. We have taken two trips with Yacht Getaways. First trip was Greece! My wife's bucket list is now complete! This last trip was Croatia! Wow! Hard to pick which trip was better. I think it was a tie.

Very cool experience. End to end

Our captain Rodrigo, and host Joe were great. They attended to all of our needs, were very helpful in planning shore excursions, and in general contributed to all of us having a good time. The food was good, and our island hopping destinations were very interesting. We enjoyed the Greek Cyclades cruise so much that we reserved a cruise for Southern Croatia in 2020!

We all had an excellent time. Our Captain, Rodrigo, and our Host, Joe, were phenomenal! The seven of us all enjoyed our trip so much that we have already scheduled our next one for June of 2020. Rodrigo and Joe started off as crew and they turned into friends. We couldn't have asked for more.

Favorite holiday ever! Would highly recommend.
