Stay sway - I feel robbed
I accidentally booked this at 11:45am on 17 NOV. At 11:46am, in good faith, I cancelled it so the property owner could immediately resume selling the room. I submitted a request to the host to get a refund at 11:51am. Check-in was only at 2pm.
This was clearly an accident caused by an excessively easy booking process on the Airbnb app. A misclick and someone gets charged.
Almost 24h after I had no response. Today the host refused to refund me, for no good reason, stating the property policy was non-refundable. He even told me my mistake would cost me €66.60, funds he'd have dinner with.
If he treated me like this I can imagine how he handles his daily operations. I would definitely think twice before booking here. If you do, do not expect much empathy and understanding.
