This was perhaps our most challenging move to date! However we feel we must mention one member of the Yopa team in Dumfries in particular. Emily was the member of staff we dealt with consistently throughout the purchase of our new property. She was always very helpful and informative and offered us reassurance when on a number of occasions things became quite challenging!We would both like to thank Emily personally, we are now in our property and wading trough the boxes!

Initially I was unsure about using an online estate agent. However I decided to go ahead and use Yopa as they offered a very flexibility payment plan for selling my property. My agent is Jim Howgate sold my property in just 3 days of being on the market - amazing. I cannot praise him enough. He is extremely prompt, professional and has an abundance of local knowledge of properties in my area. He is keen to help you with your ongoing search for another property too. We would highly recommend Lisa Coller our estate agent at YOPA. She was warm friendly and very professional. Importantly she was knowledgable about the market. She was very approachable and communicated between ourselves and the buyer very efficiently and promptly. Our house was sold within one week to the first viewers. We achieved very near the asking price.

Jim from Southend office was great he helped every step of the way an was really good to work with.

I thought I'd get a valuation so that I could sell my house. I booked a valuation appointment, and the "local" agent contacted me by email. Then, he told me that he wanted to value my house "remotely", to save him coming to visit. I cannot imagine how an accurate assessment can be made remotely, and told him I preferred face to face business dealings. He wouldn't come, so I cancelled. Why offer a free valuation if you don't imtend to visit? Useless.

Yopa has been the worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. They repeatedly ignored my clear instructions to remove my property from their website and continued advertising it £40,000 below their own valuation, causing stress, confusion, and potential financial harm. Their staff showed zero professionalism — Harriet Caster and Grahame Hawes were dismissive, rude, and refused to take responsibility for their actions. Complaints were laughed off, instructions were ignored, and I felt completely exploited as a vulnerable customer. This company has shown a shocking lack of integrity, competence, and care. I strongly advise avoiding Yopa at all costs

Really wasn't sure how Yopa would be before we used it and wondered if the far lower price meant far less service. But absolutely not. It's all well set up, so we had good communication, real support from the agent - Colin Hickey, who went above and beyond - and were led through the process very fairly and efficiently.
Would definitely use Yopa again.

Alan Mann our YOPA estate agent was very easy and straightforward to talk too , he took professional photos of the property for the advert which he sold almost immediately.
Divya Featherstone our YOPA liaison/manager was always keen to keep proceedings with the solicitors moving forward and kept us informed of the situation.

Divya was a great help throughout our purchase - when things got a little hairy she managed to keep us all calm and everything got sorted without too much drama.

Our agent was a great communicator and keep us updated throughout the process.

From the first visit everything was explained and our options put forward. There was no pressure to pick any particular option other than the one which suited us.
We were given contact numbers and any questions we had were answered quickly so we could make an informed decision.
We were helped with any forms we needed to fill out and kept updated as to progress of the sale.
The property was advertised on various sites as agreed and we had about 6 viewings booked within two weeks this and the 1% fee including VAT we thought this was a great deal.

Absolutely fantastic experience selling our property with YOPA. From start to finish our agent Millie Gavan has been great!!! From her initial visit, to her hosting the open house viewing and then to her selling our property one day after viewing (getting £10K over the asking price too!) Our experience was second to none. Extremely satisfied with the service provided by Stacey Reynolds and her team. From start to finish she kept in touch with us and organised everything promptly and professionally. We would just like to give a big shout out to Mark Holdsworth for selling my father's house in Halifax at the end of June.
He provided me with amazing service from the word go ,it wasn't easy having to deal with the death of my father and then having to sell his property.

We duped into signing a contract that we thought was 3 months and it was a ten month contract with no get out clause and pay later option we've had no viewings and they still want us to pay over 2000 pounds don't go with these has it's a legalised scam and dodgy agents also we was not told about no sale no fee
