I cannot think of a worse company…

I cannot think of a worse company overall. Greedy, ineffective, secretive billing increases, crappy customer service, internet that goes out regularly.

Please do you and your family a favor and choose quite literally any other internet provider. I'm so happy to have Fiber installed in my house and it costs less than Xfinity for faster speeds, better customer service, and no secretive billing increases.

Internet issues and charges for already returned equipment

They are consistently have network issue causes to not have internet during business work hours.
I canceled account on 5/8/26 and returned equipment on 5/11/26, had 2 phone calls with about returning equipment (they sent me a daily text to return equipment). After all this, they sent me a bill to pay for no returned equipment. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS.

I've had a very disappointing…

I've had a very disappointing experience with Xfinity WiFi. The internet connection frequently drops, speeds are much slower than what I pay for, and outages happen far too often. Customer service has been frustrating, with long wait times and no lasting solutions. For the price, I expected reliable service, but instead I've dealt with constant interruptions and wasted time troubleshooting. I can't recommend this service based on my experience, and I hope they improve both their network reliability and customer support.

They don't care about you in the slightest. They are interested in revenue for their shareholders only. I have had intermittent issues from them for 3.5 months now with no sign of resolution. They could care less. I've spent dozens and dozens of hours of my time trying to solve this.

Crap Company

If I could give negative stars I would. This company is so sneaky with increasing prices. When trying to cancel it took me an hour long phone call going back and forth. Asking me dumb questions over and over again. Just cancel my subscription like I asked for!

1 GIG DOWN, PRICE TWICE THAT OF 3 other competitors

My connection speed is one gigabyte down and 40 megabytes up.
Their new pricing is $95 a month for the internet only service at Down River, Detroit area, Michigan.
That’s with a $15 a month discount wow.
Ripple fiber, AT&TFIBER, WOW, WITH AS MUCH AS ONE GIG DOWN AND ONE GIG UP ALL THREE OF THEM ARE $50-$55 PER MONTH.
AMAZING THAT’S WHY I TOOK AWAY ONE STAR BECAUSE OF THEIR PRICE.
Now I have to see if they do price matching.
A lot of companies these days think you have nothing better to do, but go back back-and-forth with their banter.

AS FAR AS THE CONNECTION SERVICE ANY DAY, THE GATEWAY MODEM CAN REBOOT SEVERAL TIMES A DAY 6 - 7 TIMES IN A DAY AND SOME DAYS ONE OR TWO TIMES. I am an IT expert. I guess that’s the new normal Internet connections BUG. Because they’ll just tell me that the gateway is updating itself.
When I used my own modem, I would get an update once a week for about five minutes on a weekend in the middle of the night.
Internet Service has changed.
Be sure to turn off and eliminate their hotspot through your service. They do it to everybody. It’s just what they do.
They’re trying to create ubiquitous Internet connectivity everywhere and that’s free for their customers wherever they are roaming around..
They don’t say if they’re using your bandwidth, but they have to be , because It’s going through your gateway if your neighbor or a pssing stranger is hooking into your gateway.
You are legally responsible for the transmissions coming from the Mac address on that gateway. That’s why people have passwords, locking access to their gateway service..
You don’t want strangers using your internet service in residential services, cyber security 101 one at any college.
Picture of this, you don’t want some stranger hacker crazy person using your gateway with a MAC address launching some type of cyber security attack through your gateway that’s insane and stupid.
Cyber security says that’s a GREAT BIG NO, NO.

I spent 2+ hrs on the phone trying to connect a I phone promotion. I gave up, went to a store where I was told totally different pricing. The guys in the store were helpful but I spent another 2 hours and was surprised by the different price quotes. I ended up cancelling the whole thing. I lost my great plan I had with metro pcs. Lesson learned. Never buy anything from a phone salesperson who hardly speaks English. She totally lied about the price I would pay.

The scariest 48 hours of no internet.

I've had xfinity essentials internet for many years and the last two days my internet service has been out more than it was in. I've called 9 times in the last two days to customer service to complain no internet. I must have internet because my insulin pump requires internet service to communicate. Give me life saving directions on how much insulin I must take to correct my sugar. With the internet being in and out. You are causing me dangerous / deadly episodes. Im a widowed 65 year old and rely on my internet service to stay alive. Keep my insulin levels adjusted to maintain my health with insulin pump and sensor device that must have internet service to work. Somebody needs to be heard responsible for the last 48 internet cutting in and out. I want someone to contact me. Laurie griffith at 501 703-6400. My address 504 hapsburg st jacksonville, ar 72076

This is the most crooked company I’ve…

This is the most crooked company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Try downgrading to save money, watch what happens, they’ll have one person give you the run around then pass you to another then another then another, 3 days, I don’t know how many hours I’ve wasted with these crooks to try to change my internet plan. They ask the same questions over and over, stall, disconnect, anything they can to continue to take your money. Maybe if they weren’t such crooks and had decent customer service they could retain customers, not have to resort to just stringing people along, stalling to keep taking their money

They came out to repair internet

They came out to repair internet. They wear no booties, carried no ID but in a logo truck and wearing logo tee shirt. They had me download software called Tether and create an account. Then he disclosed this is his personal network but its the only way to get the service to work. After he copied what he wanted; he asked me to delete and 30 minutes after he left the service stopped working. I complained and they sent another rep that evening. He yelled and screamed and said customer service can't help me either. As of today, my emails have all disappeared and I am locked out of my Microsoft email account and still my internet not connecting to my security panel. Just a hot mess. I called and they said the two representatives were rookies and don't understand how the connectivity to security panel should work. I am just shocked.

More than I signed up for

I signed up for a 300 MBPS internet plan at $55/month in early May. My first bill was correct. My second bill came in at $163.73 — nearly three times what I agreed to — because somehow I was upgraded to NOW TV and upgraded speeds without my knowledge or consent.
What followed was approximately 10 hours of my time spent on the phone and in the store over the course of a two weeks trying to get it corrected. I was transferred repeatedly, escalated to the fraud department, and got nowhere until finally tonight a representative credited my account.
The plan I originally signed up for no longer exists, so I’m now on a slightly different plan. (Guess what? Yep, it costs more.)The FCC has also received a complaint.
The service itself works fine. The sales and billing experience was the worst I’ve ever had with any company.

We have been with comcast for over 25…

We have been with comcast for over 25 years, 2nd generation here. Equipment stopped working so we upgraded. Our landlord cancelled our lease, And we decided not to continue with our business. Comcast would NOT cancel our services if we did not sign for a a months notice and early termination fee. None of which were stated in our contract! After 25 years as a customer and an ongoing customer. Well I guess you have now lost me as one for good. NEVER AGAIN! a disgusting company!

If i could leave zero stars i would. They just lost a long time customer

If i could leave zero stars i would. They just lost a pay on time every time long time customer today due to the map showing an outage 5 houses from mine, and I work from home so i reach out only to get rude agents and supervisors, disconnected chats that make me start over and then being told a tech cannot come out for 2 days, and I cant miss any more work. All they care about is money. They care zero about their customers. Please look for other providers in your area. I kept them for the longest time bc they were the only thing, but now there are options. Taking money away from these companies is the only thing they understand or care about. I dont wish my experience on anyone and if you do have xfinity and get a 'supervisor' named Ashish, I am so sorry. Wasted hours of my time i will never get back, and zero help

Xfinity is not a good cable company for us if expecting any refunds

My one uncle passed away in January of 2026. He was living with his brother and was the uncle with his name on the bill. His brother had to move because they were renters and not home owners. The living uncle is now living with us but we did not take the service with him. They had 3 boxes that Xfinity insisted had to be returned to them. Between the 3 boxes and the unused service when we pulled the service and returned the boxes, they owed the surviving brother over $400. They could not transfer ownership of contract to the living brother. We were promised gift cards when 6 weeks passed after boxes were received. 8 weeks passed and no gift cards. Contacted them again and was promised the so-called gift cards in 6 weeks. It has now been over 12 weeks since that conversation. The crooks kept over $400 that was meant for our one uncle. NO CREDITS RETURNED TO US. Bad return policy, bad customer service, bad business to rely on if you use them. We should of left their precisious cable boxes in that house to be taken to the dump when they condemned the property and removed the building. Got taken by theese SON-OF-A-B****ES. Should have made them retrieve their own cable boxes from the excavator knocking the house down. Dead skunks smell better than Xfinity. Whale crap floats much higher than their customer service when a real life event actually shows up in your life.
