Trying to cancel my mobile phone…
Trying to cancel my mobile phone service. No costumer service rep has the ability to cancel it. Every time they try to transfer me to a supervisor that can the call is dropped on there end. Now they know my cell number associated with the account wouldn’t you think they would call me back. NO the whole company is horrible
if I could give negative stars I would
if I could give negative stars I would.
Xfinity Mobile is the most crooked business out there. We had service with them for years and I had so so service in Illinois, but once we moved to Tennessee we could not get a signal to save our lives. We decided to cancel service, but had to pay off our devices . We did that and paid over $600. 00 in Order to disconnect. They would not give us the transfer PIN to move our service, so we lost our phone numbers. We spoke with them MULTIPLE TIMES to get the PIN. We were lied to about getting it emailed to us, and they knew we were disconnecting. We paid off our lines to the penny. Now they are saying that they disconnected our service for non payment and are going to charge an additional $81.89 for a month of service. We were paying over $300.09 a month. I am so frustrated with this company. Please do not use them, they will cheat you blind.
Do not go with Xfinity Mobile
Do not go with Xfinity Mobile. Their customer service representatives lack integrity. They go to great lengths to lie and mislead customers just to get them to sign up for mobile service at all costs. They will not let you go until you sign up.
Misleading Sales Practices to a 501c3 Nonprofit
We switched our five church lines to Xfinity Mobile in July 2025. The salesperson and manager told us that tax exemption would be handled, taxes would be refunded once documentation processed, activation fees would be waived, Visa gift cards would be issued, device trade-ins would fully cover replacements, and our monthly line rate would be a specific amount.
We followed up in August and September and were told again that the gift cards were coming and the tax exemption was processing. We provided all IRS 501c3 documentation as requested. None of these statements were honored. Taxes continued to be billed, gift cards never came, activation fees appeared, the line pricing was higher than quoted, and we are paying installments on devices we were told would be covered by trade-ins.
Xfinity Mobile corporate later admitted that incorrect information was given at the point of sale but said there was no way to honor what was represented. This created financial harm and administrative burden to a nonprofit that relies on donor support.
We have filed formal complaints with the right state and federal agencies and are sharing our experience to warn other nonprofits, churches, and consumers who might rely on verbal information from this store.
To be honest these people dont deserve…
To be honest these people dont deserve no stars. I just got phone services 4 days ago. Both phones
working fine. On the 4th day one of the phones said no net work. I spent several hours with the runaround. My phone still not working. Tomorrow im switching back to my old service. Get more experience people people. Time is money and I wasted alot today.
Xfinity Mobile Agents are not honest.
Xfinity mobile & Comcast definitely deserves this 1.1 rating. They have the worst customer service in the history of business. Four chat agents lied and said my issue was resolved and they actually didn't do anything. It's a scam to get customers to give good reviews after the chat. They refused to send immediate confirmation emails or texts and will not provide trouble ticket numbers. Stay away from this company as much as you possibly can. They are horrible!
Bad experience and too expensive
I am astonished that a company could exhibit such pervasive incompetence and dishonesty. The representatives conducted unauthorized credit checks on two separate occasions, prompting me to submit two formal complaints to the FCC. Subsequently, they attempted to downplay the incidents despite the presence of incriminating evidence. Furthermore, their service is subpar.
The worst cell service and customer…
The worst cell service and customer service. Calls drop constantly. Customer service issues: hours to get from the automated menu to a live agent. Chat agents cannot resolve issues. Will never use X-Finity Mobile again.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever, xfinity mobile is a joke, not able to make phone calls for hours, you dial the number, the phone never rings, do not buy their service!
On going issues for over a month
On going issues for over a month. Initially, started on Thanksgiving day. I was on the phone for an hour with no resolution! Asked for technician to home. A young man arrived & stated we had a voltage on the pole he needed to access, so he could not do the pole...totally understandable. PSEG called & fast forward, we're out on 12/24 & fixed the problem. Still waiting for xfinity return. A new modem was installed, also.
Now, picture AGAIN pixelating & totally going out. Told they would "adjust" our bill: $4...can't believe this company!
Their only saving grace was their technician!
$500 Visa Gift Cards For Transferring from AT&T Never Received
I transferred my service on 3 iPhones from ATT to Xfinity with the promise I would receive a $500 gift card for two of the three phones that both had more than a $500 balance to pay off the phones. After transferring the numbers from ATT to Xfinity, I asked support via chat when I would receive the gift cards. After hours on live chat waiting for them to communicate and get direction from the "advanced team," I received the response I would receive the gift cards to my email on file that day. I did not receive the email so the next day I inquired on the status and was told they would arrive in my email that day. Long story short, they never came. I have a transcript of all the online chats with this communication and verification that I would be receiving two $500 gift cards. I then called and spoke to an agent who confirmed I would be receiving the gift cards in 3 to 4 weeks as it took some time for processing. After receiving nothing in that timeframe, I visited an Xfinity retail store to see if a live agent who spoke English as their first language could help. I spoke with Tadj. After sharing with him the chat transcripts and promises I received, he acknowledged what Xfinity promised, but then said there was nothing he could do about it. I then asked who can I talk to that can help with the situation. He told me no one and that I would not be receiving the gift cards as promised.
They lied to me on the xfinity mobile…
They lied to me on the xfinity mobile basically as the sale person setup the line (promised 1 year free trial), and then was charging me $40 per month right after. And the worst were the customer service called me on a Sunday morning and told me I was wrong, and I am the one responsible. I'm like seriously I'm out and cancelled the plan that morning. They should stop hiring those folks from India without training. These rude ladies should not be representing.
Horrible customer service
I like the phone plan and service, but the customer service is absolutely awful. As a longtime customer already dealing with a stressful situation, being given conflicting information by multiple agents and treated with outright rudeness was beyond frustrating. I’m normally a very calm and patient person, but this experience pushed me past my limit. The misleading information and disrespect alone are enough to make me seriously consider switching providers.
HORRID Xfinity experience
Wanted to upgrade a phone on an existing line. Called xfinity, busy so gave info for call back. No call back. Went online did live chat after getting a ridiculous price for the phone. Did live chat with agent who could not help me and said I needed to call again. Got another live agent later who helped me a bit more but told me in order to get better pricing needed to upgrade phone plan for that particular line. Couldn't give me discount till I upgraded the line. Went back and forth finally said I would. Took forever then she told me I had to change my password. Finally did that then the system didn't show change in password. She the told me had to call customer service again or she could schedule a call back. I was already THREE hours into this. I had to leave so I asked her to schedule me a call back praying they would actually call. Told me she couldn't give me a time. I hate Xfinity and I think this is last straw. I don't think I can deal with them anymore. Still haven't bought new phone either which seems totally ridiculous to do with them they don't deserve my business. I already have five phone lines and three additional devices...ugh!
I had a horrible experience with…
I had a horrible experience with Xfinity mobile. I tried to switch to Consumer Cellular but Xfinity would not unlock my phone. I've spent hours on the phone and they keep saying they will unlock it but they don;t. Also, they say I owe a balance and I don't owe them anything. Don't use this company.
Comcast has been nothing but…
Comcast has been nothing but frustrating. Constant outages, slow customer service, and unexpected fees make the service feel unreliable and overpriced.
Beware Seniors! Lied to get me to get me to take their prod their product.
Lied to get me to get their product.
I was a Xfinity Mobile customer Account
I was called by a Xfinity representative stating, “I have a $300,00 credit for an Apple
Watch.” I stated I didn’t want it. They were very persistent and said I would only have to
pay $37.00. I could give it to anyone I want, and it doesn’t have to be activated.
Xfinity is now trying to charge me for it. I called them numerous times, and they told me
I wouldn’t be charged for it, and my monthly bill will say the same at $63.00
Despite all my calls, they are still trying to charge me for it.
I feel I was lied to, and this was a scam, and I found out the representative gets a
commission for it.
I have contacted the better Business Bureau and will post reviews so that other seniors don't get scammed.
The WORST company I've ever dealt with
The WORST company I've ever dealt with. A year and a half ago they charged for data in 5 different countries the same day at the same time. They refunded me the charges only to re-charge me 2 months later, refunded again and charged me again 6 months later and auto-drafted without notifying me.
Xfinity mobile stole my money
Xfinity mobile stole my money. Switched carriers August 30 2025 was still charging me for service for my watches because they said I didn’t tell them to switch the watch service. They took 83.67 out of my account and would not give it back to me. There customer service is the world’s worst! The reps cannot speak English and I’m not a racist but come on! If you want to pay people slave labor wages at least teach them English! I will make it my business to tell any and everyone to not do mobile business with Xfinity!
Customer service is not service at all
Customer service is not service at all. The information once an issue has occurred is extremely deceptive and after months of calls, discussions with management and supervisors, as well as seeking help inside an Xfinity store I’m still stuck with security equipment installed by their tech, at my expense to the fascia of my home that are not waterproof and haven’t been working for months while they continue to receive my payments even though my 24/7 camera monitoring services are not being provided. What’s worse is they want to charge me for a tech to check my internet first, then charge me for another tech for the security. Terrifying, Xfinity has NO process in place nor do they notify you when the security equipment has failed leaving you to assume it is working when it’s not. I was advised by numerous service reps it’s up to the Customer to “know” when the equipment is not operating correctly. They confirmed they DO NOT send the customer any alerts, emails, texts or calls and the touchscreen further doesn’t alert you when the cameras fail. So who is monitoring what 24/7?
Simply trying to get them to remedy or refund me is another nightmare in itself.
This is unacceptable and not how I was scammed into these products by the slick sales team who are equally as deceptive and fail to notify, warn or explain any pertinent details before signing any contracts.
