helpful but shouldn't have to cancel before you get a better deal.
Your assistant was very helpful and friendly. However we think it is wrong that the contract had got to over £100 a month just because we didn't keep renewing it, when really it should have been £37 which we only found out when we cancelled.
However thank you for the harsh lesson we will be renewing regularly from now on.

2year contract isn't worth the paper its written on.…
We signed up for a 2year contract for a hard wire Telephones this is because the broadband is not good at all and we have no fiber in the area. The price was £24.99 inclusive of calls. After 12months this as been increase to £44.98 I believe the reason for this is that they want to supply a digital system which I'm not against but the lack of good broadband will result in this not working correctly.
I have asked the Escalation manager for the ombudsman's details who regulate them and still they wont provide the details.
When contract comes to a end I will not touch XLN as the service is shocking and they try to rip small businesses off.

Initial Service was good, but that’s it so far
Initial Service was good, but have not been able to get anyone over the phone or via email to sort out my cost/payment as it’s not the same as my agreed contract. My Account no is 5013226, if someone can sort it out and email me.
Also, the price agreed is getting to be the same as Virgin Media and the reason to come over was the cost. But there are now lots of companies that are less than £25 per month for the same, which will be half what I’m paying now.
So will be leaving as soon as the contract ends.
Monday 23rd March
Wow, what an update to provide, not only no email or any contact this complaint, but they raised the price. Never did I think they would retaliate in this way. Not really the professional way to handle a complaint.
Just gob smacked (Slap in the face)

Expensive and misleading
Expensive, misleading and they levy a £7.50 charge every month for you paying them!
In reality their customers service are pleasant but ineffective and they only start to provide any real assistance when you are about to switch suppliers.

Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with Daisy XLN.
Our business Wi-Fi was disconnected on Monday for reasons that were not caused by anything on our end. Since then, my staff have spent most of the day on the phone trying to get the issue resolved, yet the service still hasn’t been properly restored.
As a busy medical aesthetics clinic, reliable internet is essential for our day-to-day operations. Because of this outage we were unable to use our card machines, access our booking system, or view patient records. We were forced to rely on patients bringing cash, which is completely impractical for a professional healthcare setting.
More concerning from a clinical perspective, I was unable to complete patient medical notes within our system during consultations. This meant I had to write notes by hand and will now have to re-enter them into the system out of hours once access is restored, creating unnecessary extra work and risk.
What makes this even more frustrating is that we only signed a three-year contract with Daisy XLN last month. Experiencing a service failure of this scale so early into the contract raises serious concerns about the reliability of the service and the level of support provided.
Overall, this has caused significant disruption to our business and wasted a huge amount of staff time trying to resolve an issue that should not have happened.
I would strongly advise other businesses to consider this before signing a contract.

Poor Handled
I chose this business broadband provider because I was dissatisfied with the service from my current provider. During the sign-up process, I made it clear to the representative who handled my contract that I was not happy with my existing provider and wanted to switch to a different one. I specifically mentioned who my previous provider was, and explained my reasons for wanting to leave them. After cancelling my contract with the old provider, I expected to be signed up with a new provider as discussed. However, to my disappointment, I discovered that I had been signed up with the same provider again. This was frustrating, as I had already explained my situation and trusted the representative to handle the transition properly. It seems they should have been aware of this issue and notified me, but unfortunately, they failed to do so.
Once all the paperwork was completed, I received both an email and a text message confirming that my contract was with the same provider I wanted to leave. This has caused unnecessary delays and wasted my time.

Sadly not worth renewing contract for…
Sadly not worth renewing contract for business phone with. I spent over half an hour 2 days ago on their chat (which was quite abrupt at best), trying to get a quote for renewal. I still haven’t got a quote. I’ve had quotes from competitors that are over £200/year cheaper.
I’ve just tried to contact them via chat again and their helpline is open 9-4:30 making it impossible to contact them if you’re trying to run a business!
I’m fed up with paying over the odds and getting rubbish customer service.
UPDATE: A week later and in spite of their reply to this review I have still not received a quote to continue my business with them!

Punitive profiteering
I started my café 18 months ago, and over that time, we've worked with many service providers—waste collection, POS systems, broadband, landline, and more. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we now have to close the business.
When I reached out to most of our service providers to terminate contracts, I was met with understanding and support—no termination fees, just empathy and professionalism.
However, my experience with XLN has been very different. Despite having only six months left on our broadband and landline contract (typically £35/month), I’ve been told I must pay over £500 to terminate early. As a small business owner closing down due to unavoidable reasons, this feels more like punitive profiteering than business support.
I truly hope XLN can reconsider this policy. It’s disappointing when loyalty and good faith are met with inflexibility, especially in difficult times. I’m sharing this post in the hope that someone at XLN sees it and helps resolve the situation fairly.

Your fixed price contract means nothing with XLN
I have a fixed price contract for 12 months, but OneBill/XLN have just increased it by 44% stating rising costs - quite clearly obscene & unrepresentative of cost increases to them. Last month they added service costs I hadn't requested & I had to battle to get them removed. BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY!

Order Placed Without Authorisation
A terrible experience with XLN.
I received a text message stating that a router was being sent out, despite the fact that I have never spoken to anyone from XLN or agreed to any new services. When I contacted BT (who we signed up with in December), they informed me that an order had been placed on our account — without any confirmation or authorisation from us.
This is very concerning. Placing orders on a customer’s account without clear consent is unacceptable.
I expect this matter to be resolved immediately, and the order to be cancelled.
I hope XLN takes this seriously and reviews its internal processes to prevent this from happening to others.

Absolutely terrible experience with XLN…
Absolutely terrible experience with XLN and Daisy Communications.
I was charged £124.80 before my contract had even started. When I signed up, I was clearly told that the engineer appointment would be free, yet I was later billed for it anyway. This feels completely misleading.
When I called to question the charge, I was met with unhelpful responses and constant excuses instead of clear answers. It felt like they were more interested in defending the charge than resolving the issue. The customer service experience was frustrating and disappointing.
In the end, I’ve paid cancellation fees just to get away from them, which says everything about how poor my experience has been.
If you’re a business considering signing up, please be cautious and double-check everything in writing before agreeing to anything. My experience has been costly and stressful, and I would not recommend them.

Staggering incompetence …
We are moving office and booked in the date for the engineer to install in the new office approx a month ago.
XLN staff apparently didn’t add the job to the right queue and now we’ve no booking and they’re saying they can’t install to well after our move.
They don’t seem able to fix it. Staggering incompetence
I would like to add that 5 days after replying to this message they have still not got back to the complaint.
The call centre have said it's out of their control as open reach do the installations (BT), then we were told that open reach said no line to this building (we know there is as we had BT internet in it before), and now they've said we're in open reach DBE status and they can't update us for another 4 days.
The circus is calling and wants its clowns back
