Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to read that your impression of our service was not a positive one, as providing a welcoming environment for all our guests is very important to us.

After discussing the situation with the colleagues involved, we would like to provide some additional context.

Regarding the luggage storage, you asked whether your luggage could be left in our luggage room after parking your cars. At that moment, the luggage room was already close to capacity. We were still expecting departing guests to collect their belongings, while many new arrivals were also expected before the official check-in time of 3:00 PM.

For that reason, our colleague suggested an alternative that he believed might be more convenient for your families. Since you were arriving by car and travelling with young children, he explained that you could leave your luggage in the vehicle and, after check-in, bring it directly to your room using the elevator from the parking garage. This would avoid carrying luggage back and forth and would also help prevent overcrowding in the luggage room. The suggestion was intended as a practical option, not as a refusal. The choice remained entirely yours, and after the explanation you indicated that this was acceptable.

Concerning the check-in later that day, our colleague recalls a moment where it was genuinely difficult to hear what was being said because of the noise level around the reception desk. Several children were running and playing nearby, and at one point a child screamed loudly close to the desk, causing her to react with surprise. When asked what the issue was, she simply explained that she was having difficulty hearing the conversation. At no point was there any intention to make your children or your family feel unwelcome.

We are therefore concerned to read the suggestion that the interactions may have been motivated by racism or discrimination. We take such allegations extremely seriously. Having reviewed the matter, we have found no indication whatsoever that either colleague treated you differently because of your nationality, ethnicity, background, or any other personal characteristic. The explanations given were based solely on operational circumstances and communication challenges at the time.

We regret that these interactions left you with a negative impression, as this was certainly not our intention. While we understand that perceptions can differ, we do not agree that the events occurred in the manner described in your review.

Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure that all guests feel welcome, respected, and well informed throughout their stay.

We understand how upsetting and concerning it must have been to discover an insect in your bed, and we regret the impact this had on your final night. We take your complaint seriously and are sorry that the solution provided at the time did not give you the comfort and reassurance you expected.
Unfortunately, bed bugs are an issue that hotels all over the world can face. As guests travel from hotel to hotel, these insects can unintentionally travel with them. Although bed bug bites can be irritating, itchy, and unpleasant in appearance, they are fortunately considered harmless from a medical perspective.
Nevertheless, we completely understand that discovering them can be a very upsetting experience.

For that reason, we take reports of possible bed bugs extremely seriously. Following your complaint, we immediately arranged for a professional pest control company to inspect the room. The inspection included a thorough examination of the bed, mattress, pillows, curtains, and all areas where bed bugs may potentially hide.

We have mailed you to the mail address known to us from the complaint email we received.

Should you incur any additional expenses related to this matter, we kindly recommend contacting his own travel insurance provider. If they require any information from us, they are welcome to contact us directly.
