Family stay for a week
We recently stayed at this hotel for a week as a family, booking both our travel and accommodation through Eurostar. Overall, our experience was quite mixed.
On the positive side, the check-in process was smooth and straightforward, which was a good start to our stay. The location is excellent, set in a beautiful area and very convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel has a generally pleasant ambiance, making it feel comfortable at first glance.
However, there were several areas where the hotel fell short. The room amenities were very limited and not satisfactory, and the same applied to the bathroom amenities, which lacked basic essentials you would typically expect. The housekeeping standards were disappointing, with cleaning not up to a good standard throughout our stay.
We also had issues with service—some reception staff were rude, arrogant, and disrespectful, which made interactions uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Dining was another drawback. The hotel only offers breakfast, with no options for lunch or dinner. The breakfast selection was very repetitive, with no variation or introduction of new items throughout the week. After the first couple of days, it became monotonous and unenjoyable.
An additional disappointment was on our last day when we requested a late checkout. Despite staying for a full week, we were asked to pay €10 for just one extra hour, and not even a complimentary extension was offered. This felt lacking in basic hospitality and customer courtesy.
Overall, while the hotel benefits from a great location and spacious rooms, the service, amenities, and overall guest experience need significant improvement. Personally, I would not highly recommend this hotel, although it may still appeal to some travellers depending on their priorities.

Many thanks for your reply. I did mention all my problems, difficulties and issues at the time to your on duty staff repeatedly but sadly, no satisfactory steps were taken. The staff who were rude twice clearly didn't consider guests respect and hospitality, asked to pay 10 Euro for an hour late checkout which is not considerate. They all need to learn what hospitality is as the hotel runs on the guests.

Very average experience
Checkin is not welcoming at all. No gym. Air conditioning was switching off at night in my room, and it got very hot. The door on the staircase was broken and everytime somebody was coming in, it smashed on the wall, making a loud noise. Room clean, but not the best vibe. Finally parking is very expensive, 25€/day.

Get what you pay for
I guess you get what you pay for, had I realised how far it was from the centre, I would have paid extra. Room was tired and needed updating, wasn't very clean either. Snacks they sell at reception are ridiculously priced, I can't believe people pay those prices when there is a Spa across the way. Couldn't believe it when the hotel advised the bar/restaurant wasn't open of a weekend, game changer for me I'm afraid and must be a huge loss of earnings for the hotel.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location, But Needs Maintenance
We stayed at this hotel for five nights as a group of 14 people. Upon arrival, we were given different double rooms than the ones we had booked through the hotel’s website. In our case this was acceptable as we were all friends, but in other circumstances it would not have been appropriate. Two of the rooms had issues with the air conditioning leaking water. For one of these rooms, the hotel changed the room after two nights. There was also a constant smell in the corridors and rooms, likely due to the fitted carpets. The location is very good for a group of friends, close to the city centre, bars, and several good places to eat. The rooms were cleaned every day, and in general the room sizes are larger than many other hotels in the centre. Overall, with some maintenance and refurbishment, this could be a very good hotel, especially for groups looking for a central location and spacious rooms.

Pleasant stay
Stayed here for 1 night with my daughter for a combination of concert and a short citytrip. We had booked directly via the hotels' website which was easy and clear. We arrived too early but could drop off our luggage in a separate locked room and headed straight into the city.
There is a metro station near the hotel and it has very easy checkin/out option with debit card so no ticketmachine needed.
Our room was spacious and clean.
There are vending machines in the lobby with drinks/water and snacks.
Breakfast was good, we only missed the 'hagelslag' sprinkles 😀.
Price for the room was quite expensive in my opinion but it was a busy concert weekend and ofcourse the location Amsterdam is also what you pay for.
We had a pleasant stay.

Excellent location if youre going to a concert close to metro , with arena beung just 1 stop away or 15 walk with city being about 10 stop but doesnt take long.
Recommend getting hotel breakfast as local amenities tend to be a little more bistro type and is cheaper than going locally. Rooms are clean with towel change daily and staff are helpful. Would certainly stay again
