I wouldn’t give it a single star if the that was an option! Cancelled our service in April of 2023 it’s on your records! Quit charging our account for a bit now they’ve started taking payments out of my bank account again!

Had this sketchy internet service for…

Had this sketchy internet service for about 2 years. In the last 6 months we lose internet at least every 2 weeks and end up getting a tech down to look at it. It's slow, and rarely a day goes by without connection issues. We are getting starlink in a few days! This company should not be allowed to charge for this terrible service.

This is the WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. Forget working from home with this internet. Your job ends up being TRYING TO GET THE INTERNET TO WORK. The ONLY thing this company has going for them is their Tech, Dennis. I have to stream my phone data in order to get internet. I've had to use this company for a year now and they are useless!!!!! I live on the coast and they blame the RAIN!

Do not give them any consideration what so ever

Do not give them the time of day, nothing but lies and false promises and absolute terrible internet. Have tried to be patient, and have been a customer for years and do everything they “recommended” including upgrading our package for a more expensive one, then we where told to go buy a new router, then got told no they can’t access our router we need their supplied router. (More wasted money and misinformation from xplore) After getting their router the internet drops out every half hour. Call and tech support says “you’ve had good service that we can see no issues on our end”. Canceling our contract and going to starlink. Rated one star because I couldn’t rate any lower unfortunately.

I am writing this from my phone because the internet is down again. We had them once and they were garbage. We switched to swift and it was amazing. They bought swift and its right back to trash again lol. Unusable for work or games. Will replace the instant valley fiber is available. If there is a second option, use that one.

Horrendous company

Horrendous company. Unfortunately they have the money to buy up all the little competitors. Customer service is bad. But policies are far worse. They will try hard to force you into giving bank account, credit card details, so they can help themselves to your money. After a fiasco of being overcharged by $500, a very long battle to get it resolved. I will not be giving them free access to my money.
Oh, but it gets way better. Recently they sent a message, if I don’t sign up for pre pay, they will be adding a $83 fee. So a court date is coming, if they do. Don’t trust XploreNet under any circumstance. Once they get access, you will suddenly get many $$ unpleasant surprises. Far from the only one, who has been a victim of XplorNet over billings.

Xplorenet is terrible. Don’t give them their money.

This is the worst internet provider ever. They set up your systems wrong, take 8+ hours to “fix” your internet, and outright tell you you’re wrong when you have wifi issues. They send third party people to install your internet who don’t know how to install it properly. It’s better to use data than to deal with this company.

The only good thing about xplore net is that it's fairly cheep. Other than that the internet goes out any time the weather is remotely bad. It's not near as good or as fast as they claim. My parents got it because it was half the price of bell (were in the Country) and it rarely works and always cuts out at random and then it'll just be off for a couple hours. Never had this experience with our last provider and it's especailly annoying when I'm trying to do school. Don't get it!!

Horrible Service - Avoid!

We have xplornet for our business and it is absolutely terrible! We have had little to no signal now for a week. They say they can come out in a week. We're stuck with them because of the area. Desperately trying to get with another provider. Hopefully NWIC as they have better customer service, but I might have to bite the bullet and look into Starlink.

GARBAGE....to sum Xplornet up in a word. I had xplorenet a couple years back. During the 2 years I was stuck with them dew to no competition there were constant outages (as much as 1-2 days worth a week), very low speeds (they advertised up to 50 Mbps and I vary rarely got much above 2 Mbps. We couldn't stream more then one Netflix show at once in the house. I was told by one of their staff that my broadband was being throttled because we were using too much even though I was paying for "unlimited". I am so much happier with my current provider.

Poor service and customer service

As I live in the country my only choice at the time was xplorenet. And to be truthful, the first year my service was exceptional. However after the first year they sent out a service guy to do mandatory inspection and upgrades. Our service after that was poor always disconnecting and when good only allowing one person to use wifi at a time. I called multiple times to complain and was told there was nothing they could do. Also would not credit us for periods of no service. After 4 years (as poor service was better than no service) they said we could change to satellite internet although would no longer be unlimited. I asked them since we have had poor documented service for years would they wave the installation fee and was told it wasn’t possible so I purchased Starlink as I felt that was the least they could do for us. I then called today to have our service disconnected and then was told if I stayed with them they would give me two months free service and wave the installation fee to go to satellite. Why weren’t they willing to help us prior to this?
