A terrible scam from a company…

A terrible scam from a company protected by ZERO competition as a result of the ridiculous system allowing Swiss telecommunication providers to rip off Swiss customers completely. Absolutely horrendous. Look for other options online that all for connectivity with the rest of the world.

The worst company in Switzerland

The worst company in Switzerland!

I'm owed money for overcharging, they don't provide refunds even though they say will.

So difficult to speak to anyone, the phone reception is terrible.

The abroad charges are scandalous, trying to use their app and customer service is terrible. I wish after moving to Switzerland, I had never heard of Yallo. I'm moving to Galaxus!

I would advise avoiding Yallo if you want to avoid stress.

SIM is faulty, they wanna charge 59CHF for replacement ftw?

SIM is faulty, doesn't make good connection to sim card metalic connectors, maybe demagnetized. I explain this in chat to customer support and they said " OK WE SEND YOU NEW SIMCARD". I HAVE TO ASK how much otherwise they don't say, and they reply: 59 CHF. WHAT???????????????? FK OFFF!!!! It's your fault! I checked this faulty sim in 3 phones and does the same!!

Worst of the worst

I have never met a company in my life that absolutely does not care how their customer services behave. I have a problem when my phone insurance honors me and when I wanted to repair the phone and thus use their service, I was told to contact yallo@protect. Unfortunately, they told me there that I should turn to yallo. So I called yallo again and their standard answer is that they have nothing to do with this company and they referred me back to yallo@protect. I've been spinning in this mysterious circle for 7 months. I benn told that they are very sorry and that this case will have highest priority. And as is usual with them again and again no one contacts me. I've been lost with this problem for a few hours now, I don't talk about the emails I send and they always give me another email. After I sent emails to all addresses and contacted them again, no one answered me to this problem and telling me to send that email again. Well I assure them that they already have my emails but they cannot find it, and again telling me to send another email, and again this case have the high priority. Also they told me that their super manager would contact me... and as usual, no one called.
Please all of you, if you don't want problems, read the reviews of the last ones, and 82% of the dissatisfied customers say that they are sick. They want money but that's all. About problems with invoices or another manner, I won't elaborate here. Please find another company, but not sunrise, it's the same sh.. (sorry for that word). Think berore you sign the contract with them

Bunch of scammers! Yallo Zero is not zero, they charge you even when in WIFI

I finally got rid of them but they still convinced me to stay with Yallo zero so they keep their subscriber numbers up. I said ok, might be useful when parents come to visit, I pay 1.2 per day
BUT.. EVERY TIME there's a sim error or you put airplane mode on and off, even if you are constantly on wifi, they still charge you some 50kb of data so BAM! 1.2 CHF taken. I am gonna call them to cancel my bill and if they don't, I contact my legal insurance, I had enough of their scammy south east asian ways of doing things....

yallo is a joke!

First, sunrise calls me as part of their sales initiative to promote their fiber (internet). I had to tell them that the system shows me that I cannot get fiber through them (They should have known that themselves!).
Then they send me to yallo (part of Sunrise). yallo has a great offer that beats all competitors. So, I quit my beloved Swisscom because yallo promises the fastest internet for very little money.
After 2 months I am checking up on the hardware delivery from yallo. Response: "No worries, we send this tomorrow and it should arrive in 2 days which is 4 days before your subscription starts with us. So, no problem."
2 days later I receive a call from the technical department from yallo telling me: "We are really sorry but we cannot install fiber for you since we don't have the rights in your location. But you can switch to "regular" internet."
I cannot put in words how mad I am!!! Having had 6 sales calls with Sunrise and yallo, cancelling Swisscom (another 2 calls), following up on the set up from yallo and everything to receive a call only 4 days before the switch informing me that it doesn't work??!!
I totally lost trust in yallo & Sunrise and looking forward to going back to Swisscom. I rather pay a bit more knowing that I get great service and a great product!

Calls to my phone not working and couldn't be fixed

Calls to my phone just went directly to the combox without a reason (All bills paid) which cost us as a company as it took some time to figure this out. Then I called the help desk (and paid CHF 1.50) they said no problem and removed the combox and assured me it will work now. The outcome was that callers now receive a message saying this phone has no combox but I still didn't receive calls. So I had to pay again to call them... Now pending and hoping it will be fixed. I'm definitely changing providers asap

Taking Clients for Fools!

Other comments speak for themselves: Yallo has the worst customer service ever, as they take clients for fools!

As everyone, I was attracted by their unbeatable Black Friday offer at 24.90 CHF for an unlimited plan instead of 91 CHF, which was supposed to be a "lifetime deal."

Not even 6 months later, they increased their price by 1 CHF per month due to "inflation" defending themselves that the "lifetime offer" was the 72% discount on the regular price and not the price itself. But that was not always  obvious on their posters. And I'm absolutely sure that the salesperson certified that the price will stay the same for life and that I would still benefit from the deal if I wanted to change for the Black Start and the Black Plus. I should have recorded the conversation.

As I still wanted to think about it, she gave me her WhatsApp number, explaining that everything could be done virtually.

Once the deal was closed, I still had a few administrative questions, but she just ignored all my messages. The online chat is not always helpful as they ask you to call. And now I see that apparently, there are high fees to cancel the plan...

They don't want your money and don't care about your experience with them

I belive it's easier to get a nuclear warhead than a mobile subscription with them. I have a romanian passport, tried everything to get them to validate my ID, got proof of permit from the Migration office in Zurich, got my ID verified at the post office, sent them my rental contract, my work contract. Nope still don't have your permit still not ok with us. A pair of monkeys would be more usefull than their support, but hey does monkeys would do they job, not close the call/conversation

Bad experience

I have a 5G subscription. They claim speeds of 1 Gbps, but the actual speed is less than 20 Mbps most of the time.
I ordered it on the Black Friday and the advertisement said it was 24 CHF/month permanently. They charged me for one month even the SIM arrived at the last day of the month. The bill is also a mystery. The monthly fee increased without giving any reason, it is now 40 CHF/Month.

Home Internet problem with NO support

The Home Box Cable Internet hasn't worked since 15th of Dec 2023. It's been not even activated for 2 months. Of course you need to pay for the no-service. No support from the customer service. Not even a message or call. You can wait on the chat for hours, trying to connect and all you have is a bot repeating to give your personal data for an agent to contact you. Sorry, I am so disappointed.

Was billed phone calls even though they are included in my subscription. Talked to customer service representative and got a full refund. Their offer to include data and calls worldwide can't be beaten. You only pay for text and for calls from Switzerland to other countries.

Not sure what I have got myself into…

Not sure what I have got myself into here reading other reviews but support relies heavily on automated messaging and is totally lacking for questions and support on usage from new members and those new to smart phones and packages.

I am outside Switzerland and purchased a package which covers, from my understanding, free included calls and internet surfing in Europe but now I have an an additional roaming package for one year and am not clear what this is for and whether there is an extra cost. It just had a link to roaming and there seems no option to delete it pending an explanation from Yallo.

All the usual communication channels are closed over the weekend but you pay the monthly subscription whether you can use it or not. I was kept waiting over one week from the beginning of the month for evaluation of my ID although this had already been confirmed at the point of sale. I received the sim from when billing commences well before this but had no connection!

Their only phone numbers in Switzerland do not state the hours they are available to provide support so could result in an additional costly and fruitless call!

Not a good start!

information provided by Yallo does not make it clear what costs are included in your subscriptions. Everything is charged extra even in packages claiming to be inclusive.
Care is need when surfing webpages because every link you click for information or in error when scrolling can immediately sign you up to, and bill you for, another package with no option to cancel!

I have given yallo support my very best chance to respond to issues any new subscriber might have. Unfortunately they have again proven they live up to their reputation of poor customer service cited in many of the reviews here. In the meantime the customer pays the subscription regardless.

All my pre-sale queries were answered to my satisfaction on purchase, the difficulties arise after purchase and the information presented by Yallo suddenly becomes far less clear!

Deceived and scammed by Yallo and Alao
Via Alao I contracted a phone service with requested to switch from Salt to Yallo. I signed a contract with Yallo via Alao (very easy and simple do sign of course so they got you) but during 3 months Yallo was not able to switch my line. After beint 3 months without swiss number I just upgraded my contract with Salt and then is when Yallo sent me a CHF 100 invoice for breaking the contract from a service I never received. I disagree with the invoice and reached out Yallo with no answer. This was December 2023. Then the 29 of January I receive a letter from Intrum to pay an invoice of CHF 260. The Customer Service from Yallo tells me to sort it out with Intrum that in turn their business it to get invoices paid not cancel invoices. I feel aggressed and robbed by them. Karma to them.

Signed up because they offered a very good rate for unlimited internet and calls. Then once I was activated I realized how bad the reception was on the Sunrise network, consistently everywhere in Switzerland.

I stopped therefore the service, and was slapped with CHF 186 cancellation fees, which they of course conveniently they do not tell you about, nor is it easily read on their website. I will never come back. I will rather pay for the more expensive Swisscom network.

You can tell that Yallo doesn't even bother to react to the bad reviews here, indicating how much they care about their customers walking out on them.
