A typical 'Russian' business

A typical 'Russian' business, I needed to pay for a service to a contractor in Russia, he suggested that I use 'Yandex Wallet'. After registration, I topped up the wallet with the relevant (small) sum. Used half of it (the balance was intended to be paid on completion of the service). Tried to log in a few weeks later - it would not even recognise the existence of the account. Asked for tech support - nothing. All in all - I was defrauded of my money.

Unreliable

I can no longer create a Yandex account without a phone number because when I correctly enter the characters to the security code, I get this message: "You entered the wrong characters. Try again."

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, I failed to log in due to the wrong password used for my game using a yandex email address, yandex shut my account down and are forcing me to change my email password however it is telling me my phone number is invalid and has no other option for me to validate the change, I'm still paying for this game however if I'm unable to delete my subscription by getting through to my email, I'll keep being charged all because of this email provider, I'm very unhappy and very stuck at the moment and I have no idea what to do, why can't I use my phone number

Worst mail I've ever used

Worst mail I've ever used. Demands phone number verification after account creation, impossible to delete account, can't forward emails... Complete garbage. Try Protonmail.

The worst email provider I have ever used (sorry, tried to)

I decided to move away from G mail since I did not get convinced by the security and opened a few Yandex addresses to manage my mail. Two days later I am still unable to send ONE mere email and the support keeps on telling me that I have to add a mobile, then wait, then wait again, then they say they fixed it but this does not work still - I find it ridicilous since it should not be THAT HARD. Farewell, Yandex, I was considering to get a paid account from you, no way since your poorest support and silly settings that treat so many users this way. I do not recommend Yandex to anyone who needs a reliable easy to use service - not their story.

Yandex will only offer e-mail service…

Yandex will only offer e-mail service if you give them a cell number. You can start an account without one, but the next time you try to log in you'll be blocked unless you agree to receive an SMS message from them. Worthless.

stay away

Abosultely the worst company I had the oportunity to deal with and I do regret choosing them to handle my online purchase(I'm talking about Yandex.money service they provide), which I couldn't even do because they require a NOTARIZED copy of your PASSPORT to even use the basic function of their god forsaken service.
