Absolutely disgusting way to treat people! Don't order from this company or any of it's affiliates. Check their head office company and affiliates.. they have many! Rip off!
Got 2 kits to make amigurumi toys. Onyy supplied the yarn in a box with a rubbish hook. No instructions s or even a picture. I tried for 6 months to get them to help but they just gave me the runaround. As they're in China, there is not a lot you can do!

Website says 5-7 business days to deliver to the UK. After 8 days they've still not dispatched anything.
Numerous chase ups and fob off replies from Yarnset saying they are having logistical issues, then they give a tracking reference that's never been sent but claimed it's been delivered. Total con, claiming payment back through credit card company.

Total scam. I ordered two items. They delivered one and never sent the other. It took two months to get the item they sent. Their customer service email rep just talks in circles. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Just received small bits of yarn and a piece of paper with some directions typed on it. It’s supposed to be for beginners

Really wish I checked reviews first! My order has gotten lost. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times and I am repeatedly told it has been delivered. I even attached 2 emails from the courier confirming the items were lost and I was told “it has been delivered” I have now opened a dispute with my bank as this company is the WORST!!

Took money from my bank without permission. THATS THE WORST PART..but it doesn't get much better.
Refused to cancel order even thoigh cancelled in under 60 seconds (cancellation reason was I failed to check reviews before hand then saw all these bad ones!)
Turned out to be true.
Missing items and APPALLING customer service who just send random emails about delayed posting or waiting for management. They don't answer your email at all.
Basically this company is Fraudulent. Dont but from them. Ever. One big scam. They pretend to be un the USA when they are in fact in China. You cannot return anything for any reason. They ate using images that are NOT of what they send, they are obviously breaching copyright.

This is Definitey a scam site. So disappointing. It’s been 6.5 weeks since my order. They keep giving generic replies that they’re investigating. When I threatened escalating this I was told my address was “insufficient” and I needed to send more money to have it resent. I can clearly see in the original order summary that my address is correct. Do not order from this store!!!

I placed an order on Dec 11, website says it should arrive in 8 business days max to US, it should have arrived on Dec 21 and it has not arrived yet on Jan 1. I contacted customer service with my order number and they cannot locate the order or provide updates.

Delivery promises are not kept. Their email responses are to delay and delay. They provide no accurate delivery information. Refused to refund. Beware, look for some where else.

The package arrived, weeks late. This company has real communications issues. Not worth it

Worst company ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! My daughter ordered her mom some items for Christmas and she got a wrong item. They refuse to replace it. I was offered a 20-30% off my next order. I said no. Then was offered a $3 refund! Still no. Then they offered me a $5 refund stating that was the best they could do. Seriously….no! I just want the item she ordered. They say it’s too expensive to ship. They are making tons of money on something they refuse to take blame for if they mess up! Again…DO NOT USE THEM. They are one of the many scam companies out there!

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I'm having a similar experience as everyone else. I ordered 4 sets to make for a baby shower gift. They took 3-4 weeks to arrive and 2 were wrong. I've been fighting with them for 2 weeks so far. I'm only asking for a refund on the incorrect kits. I got the same story - it's too expensive to ship them back but they can't "afford" to refund. They first offered me a 20% discount on future orders (like I'd order again), then $12, then $15, then $19, then back to a coupon (the total I'm asking for is $40). The kits I received are not what they described - QR code to videos doesn't work, missing info on the patterns, not even a photo of the item anywhere on the directions. Scam!!

Scam company! DO NOT USE!!

I ordered 3 things:
A set of digital patterns, never received and its digital so how hard is it to send that?!
A Halloween set, they sent the wrong one.
A beginners kit, was missing parts.

I requested a refund and was told they would offer a partial refund because returning would cost too much. I said no. They kept offering a partial refund with me keep saying no. They have tried to say I should pay return postage even though it is their mistake.
I have had to open a case with PayPal to get my money back and even with that I may end up having to pay for the return so I will still be out of pocket!

I never received my order. Wasted time and money ordering then more time chasing it. Customer service just said to check with my local post which I already have.

I ordered a couple of sets which seemed fine but the QR code tutorial video doesn't work so I've spent all night trying to learn what each of the crochet abbreviations mean. The instructions are not tailored for beginners at all. I have never crocheted before and these kits do not help you to learn. What even is 6inc?? It makes no sense when you do it like the instructions say!

In conclusion, don't buy from here. You're better off buying a 2.5mm hook and some yarn and watching some youtube videos on how to do it.

Total scam. They’ve been trolling me on emails since June. If you purchased through PayPal open dispute there and you’ll get money back instantly.

Took weeks to arrive and had to chase twice before even shipped. Bought as advertised as 'beginners', instructions are impossible to follow and the instructional video QR Code doesn't work. Do not use.

Wish I had read reviews before ordering, waste of money, I have never crocheted before so a complete beginner, the kit didn’t come with a piece already started as they say it does it didn’t have the instruction booklet in with all the different stitches either, when I scanned the QR code in the whale pattern booklet it worked but once they show you the basic stitches the tutorial for stitching the whale was so fast and not close enough to see properly what they are doing, the yarn is very bad quality I couldn’t even do the first chain part as the yarn kept splitting into smaller strands, I think the hook is also to small for a beginner it was really fiddly to hook the yarn and when I did it just split. Luckily I didn’t spend much money as I just got the whale kit for beginners but I still can’t crochet.

100% scam! Everything they claim to provide is fake, from patterns, tutorials - everything. Then they provide
claims of bankruptcy when disputed through paypal! Please don't waste your money - there are many alternative places to shop from.

Total Scam! I ordered and did receive the kits. As others stated, the “hard part “ was supposed to be started for you…it wasn’t. The instructions, which were on a piece of paper didn’t show how to start. The first instruction didn’t even mention which color of yarn to use. The QR code that was sent for the video tutorial didn’t work. I contacted the company and they sent me a link to all of their videos. My two animals weren’t included. I asked for a “guaranteed “ refund and they told me it was too expensive to have the kits shipped back. They offered me a $7 refund (I spent $35.) After many emails, I finally accepted a $9 refund which was promised to hit my account within 2-7 working days. It’s been over 25 working days and I still have no refund. What a nightmare of a company.

I don't understand how this company can have above a 1 star review when there are 2 reviews and they've each given 1 star! Clearly something odd which should have been a red flag. I placed my order over 2 weeks ago and noted they have an up to 10 day delivery. I've waited the 10 days and received nothing. Tracking seems to be a sham, stating has been collected by some service and then has been stuck for over 6 days. Contacting the customer service team, though they are polite enough, is useless, they claim they will escalate appropriately, contact warehouse and courier service but so far no tracking updates and they NEVER supply a delivery date. I would agree with previous reviews THIS IS A SHAM COMPANY AND NO ONE SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ORDER FROM THEM!

Purchased a set to try in June. It's September and I never received it. Tried to contact customer service and, in broken English, I was told 1)sorry for the delay, we'll ship ASAP, 2) it's in the hands of the delivery company it's coming, 3) we'll ship it now, 4)please provide all your details again to confirm (I didn't), 5) it's almost gone this time we promise. Requested refund since it's clearly a scam, obviously was always ignored. Steer clear.
