I fell for an instagram order scam from…

I fell for an instagram order scam from these clowns. I ordered 2 knit baseball caps from some company not these guys. I used PayPal to pay. Unfortunately the second that I got an invoice from PayPal I realized that a different company than the one I thought I was ordering from, just accepted payment. That being a red flag I decided to use the data ( customer at ycimedia dot com ) provided to do a search. I found not one single positive rating. I tried to cancel my order but there was no answer from the email address provided (of course).

After arriving, I opened the package which released a chemical stink like no other. There is no way on this Earth nor any other that I am putting that on my head. The fumes are not fit for a baby, let alone an adult. I filed a case with paypal and turns out that this company DOES monitor that email as they answered. Their immediate answer was an offer of a 30% refund. Seems to be part of the business plan to me. They offered a 100% refund upon returning the item, however the shipping cost turned out to be more than the cost of the items.
Seems that the firm ships via container to the Frankfurt AP and then some agent picks it up and forwards via Hermes. That is how shipping is cheap enough to warrant these products. My guess is that their name is so bad, that they open all of these shops to sell scat from and then that is the end. The goal is to sell it and offer a 30% refund. If that shop gets bashed, they open another. I am going to take their product to Germany's Customs Agents for review. My guess is that container is not investigated.

AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Complete scam of a company stay away! Got sucked in too by a Facebook advert, all comments (which were prob fake) seemed positive. All appeared as though were a uk based company, turned up delayed but thought was due to the virus situation.

Ordered the paint roller set, which turned up faulty. I paid through PayPal and thought I would be safe. Don’t believe that, I think their hands are tied. I opened a dispute and the company agreed to a full refund after delaying the process for over a two months, if I RETURNED THE BULKY ITEM TO CHINA! 😡 rediculous, Costed up at approx £20 for shipping, I would not get a refund until it appeared back in a random pop box address in China. It’s a well thought out scam and avoid like the plague. How these people are allowed to get away with this is a joke....incase you haven’t got the just, avoid this company!

Utter trash!

Got sucked in by a FB ad promoting some nice strapless bras. Read through threads of women commenting how brilliant they were, even for big boobs, etc. All BS! I ordered the 3 pack, size M. Poor quality, each one is a different size, and barely fit even though im small. So they obviously pay people to review their stuff as no one bigger than a 34AA could fit into them! Very disappointing. The ad was for a UK company but upon payment I saw a Chinese name flash by the screen and immediately knew I'd made a mistake.

Do not buy from any websites owned by this company...

Do not buy from this company! You will lose your time and money if you do. My mother in law bought a 'V Neck Zipper Patchwork Plain Blouse' from comfybear.co.uk (owned by ycimedia.com), which arrived and the quality was terrible. For the last 3 weeks I have been trying to return the item and get a refund. Their customer service is terrible, slow and try every trick in the book to make you keep the purchase. Finally when I escalated the issue with Paypal, we got a response from ycimedia.com who said we need to send the product back to Hong Kong, but they won't refund the cost of P&P ... however an alternative solution is they give us a 30% (first option/email response) and then 50% (second option/email response) discount to keep the product.

Simply awful all round. I am writing this review to help other customers avoiding doing business with them. Please avoid them like the plague, you have been warned!

SCAM!!!!!FRAUD!!!!

I ordered some items from boomera.co.uk. and the money was taken from my account by ycimedia. And i beleive their sister companies are yc tech limited and NocoSide Inc. They all scam.

Their products are cheap and dodgy. When i e-mailed them to return the products they gave me an address in main land China. And asked if its too expensive to return the items to china we offer you 15 to 35% refund and you keep the items. After that they dont reply me anymore. So i lost my £73.
Beleive me the items are not usable. Its made with cheap plastics and its smell so bad. I kept these products away from my children.

We need to report them to action fraud police. Please everyone if you are a victim of any of these companies please Google Action Fraud Police uk and you can report them online. They are cheating us we need to stop them!!!

Ordered a hair trimmer 30/05/20 it arrived today 13/06/20, from China. Domo hair trimmer. Cheap plastic thing that uses one AAA battery, cutter is less than an inch long. Reading the instructions it says for eyebrows and moustache, if it had said that on the description when I was looking to buy I would not have placed an order. Will try for refund but looking at previous reviews looks unlikely. the packaging has a return address in Slough so I'll see if I get any joy there. £24--00 down the drain

STAY AWAY from this misleading company

RainbowTown, Spotify and TCIMedia !!!…

Placed an order with Rainbowtown who have a large profile on some of the YouTube content I watch, other than an initial confirmation e-mail, no delivery details received but payment taken. Started to chase supplier to find that the Rainbowtown e-mail address is invalid. My pursuit of resolution now with PayPal, given the other Trustpilot reviews I am not expecting much. Documentation refers to Rainbowtown, Spotify and YCIMedia - more confusion.

As with 97% of reviews here, complete scam company. Popped up on my facebook feed, ordered a pair of shorts from them 10 days ago and no sign of them arriving, in fact they never sent a confirmation email. For the first time in my life I fell for a complete scam, foolishly thinking I could trust a company advertised on FB - D'oh!

Stay away!!!

Stay away! Crap products, no customer service, opened a dispute with PayPal and company left right until the last minute to give information back, dragging out the procedure. Have had no communications from the company despite several emails. How companies like this are allowed to trade is a mystery, have spoke to trading standards who are looking into after seeing all the other negative reviews!
