A terrible agency who took a deposit of £700 and have refused to return it for over a year and a half, coming up with excuse after excuse. They offered almost no support throughout and have been very poor with communication.

My contract ended in Oct 2023, but after A LOT of persistence I managed to get my deposit of £700 back. What I recommend to those who haven't got their money back is to go see them IN PERSON. Don't just communicate through emails (although make sure you keep all written communication as proof), because they won't respond or will take their sweet time to respond. I was fed the usual BS "the director is ill" blah blah blah, but I kept giving them solid deadlines to pay me. They said they'd pay me by the end of the year (end of December) and when they didn't I sent my Dad to go pay them a visit on my behalf as I don't live locally, whilst he does. He asked the manager if he could video record the conversation (as permission to record is important), which they agreed to, and then claimed that by the end of January that I'll get my money back. They did in fact keep to their word and I got my money back. All I recommend is keep persisting and pay them visits in person, otherwise they won't take you seriously. But bring someone with you.

Scammers! Owe me £500!!!!!!!!!!

They completely scammed me out of £1.5K. Promised all the training, shoots etc. and I personally have received nothing. No training, no shoots. Just 10 photos for my portfolio which I had to pay for. I adhered to all the contract rules and even when I email them to discuss. They ignore and say that the person in charge of giving refunds is ill (and has been for the last 2 years) and no one else can sign off payments. A joke of a company, don’t waste your time!

The worst company I have encountered. I was scammed out of the top fee £1000 and I followed my contract to the rule, they broke their end of the deal and I'm now preparing to take them to court. Please just avoid these fraudsters, you will get zero work and they will stop responding to emails. My contract expired in Oct 2023 and I still haven't gotten a penny back. All I ever received was some ok(ISH) but vastly overpriced pictures. PLEASE TAKE NOTE - Your Model Management was dissolved in December 2023. Another Modelling Company Eclipse Model Management have suspiciously started in near enough the same location/address. I tried to phone Eclipse and surprise surprise - they weren't answering the phone. They have been fiddling their taxes and their models and are now doing it again with the 'new' agency!

This company is a COMPLETE SCAM!! They will ask you to pay for a modelling band, the more you pay the more you’ll be prioritised as a model with jobs and say the deposit is refundable but they won’t give you your money back. After the 12 month contract they will give you an excuse as to why it’s taking longer to send you your deposit. They will say the direction is ill and he’s the only one with access to refunds which is FALSE. Their number is no longer active and they do not respond to emails. My contract ended in January and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY DEPOSIT BACK. They are now under the name ECLIPSE model management and whatever else they change to, it is THE SAME PEOPLE. I have gone to small court claims and I’m just hoping with all the information they will be able to get my money back for me. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM AND DO NOT PAY ANYTHING!!!

I looooovvveeed it sooooo much, they were amazing!! I loved the way they airbrushed my face in the pictures so much to the point that an eyebrow is missing. 😍😍😍

I finished my contract (and abided by all rules in the contract!) a month ago and despite four emails asking for my deposit back no one has replied to me! Email responses usually take ages which has also been annoying throughout the contract, but this is ridiculous. I have emailed four times and received no response. I will probably visit in person and ask soon, but they really need to check and respond to their emails especially when it's something as important as getting 700 pounds back! If I do eventually receive it I will change this review but at the moment it looks like they're just trying to keep the money.

I joined with them back in 2022 and paid the deposit to be highly featured on their website under the understanding that if nothing was found for me within the year I would get my money back! Total lies! It's been a year and I have requested my money to be returned as well as half of what I paid for a photoshoot they persuaded me to pay for when I came in for something for them to tell me they were going to ring as they had a job for me and they haven't responded to a single email!! I am now thinking only option is to take them to the small claims court. Whatever you do, do not pay this company anything as you may never see it again like me. Don't make the same mistake I have.

Don’t give these guys a penny of your hard earned cash they will take the deposit from you that will be refunded in 12 months if you get get any jobs or not so they make it sound like you’ve nothing to lose. However in my case £700 out of pocket and only one job offer which I believe wasn’t real.
Apparently now there no number to call to speak to someone they only give you an email address to contact them so now Ive got no option but leave it in the hands of the fraud department at my credit card company.
Please avoid at all costs !!!

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS !! They are disgusting, cunning and they scam people for their money in the name of a 'refundable deposit'. They'll come up with a creative excuse as to why it's taking longer than usual to return your deposit and then stop responding to you completely ( even when you have followed the contract AND THEY HAVEN'T). They lied about many things just to convince me and to take my money. My gut was telling me it was so wrong, but I felt pressurised to make a decision there and then (which is always a bad sign). Please, if you are reading this to check if you should sign with them or not, PLEASE DO NOT. i have read and seen that SO many others have had the exact same experience with them (YUMM or Eclipse Model Management and whatever name that group will use) There will be disgusting people like this preying on the vulnerable but don't let that stop you from going after your goals! I am now working with my team and management to sort this out and get my own money back. I'VE LEARNT MY LESSON LOL SO GUYS DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE ! yuck.

Good Afternoon,

Our payment provider has strictly advised us not to make any refund payments until after the 23rd of July 2023.

This is because they are clearing up a few payments issues their end and do not want parallels.

We do apologise if this causes you any inconvenience, but our legal team have also advised us to do the same.

To me this is completely absurd and screams red flags……..….
It’s not an agency it’s a database…….they ask you to pay for different levels of package which has a hierarchy which obviously goes up in price from a basic refundable £100 package, which is just a waste of time because it restricts you from applying for any jobs that appear on the YUUM website…….”Pointless”
you have to have paid much more in order to be eligible to even have the possibility to apply for jobs that come up.
I have now been constantly fobbed off in the process of receiving my £100 deposit which was due to me back in March 2023 after a year of no activity or jobs from YUUM.

It’s been a year and they have offered me 1 casting brief and I couldn’t attend due to being in training for a job. They make it out like they are a legitimate agency but when you get there and “interview” you, they approve and ask you to pay money. They will ask you for up to £1000. I paid the minimum of £100 as I was unsure, but they make it out like you cannot leave until you pay some sort of amount. Do not join this agency, they are simply a scam like the rest if not worse as they will send you a job that is not even guaranteed and use that as an excuse to not return your deposit. I have previously posted a positive review concerning the photoshoot that they do for you when you first get there “free of cost”. They will not give you the images until you post a review, that is why I had to do it. Save yourself the loss of money and stay away from agencies such as these

I went to this company a couple of years ago and i paid £700 to join on a high platform..I had 2 so called training days which entailed walking up and down a so called wooden runway with a guy called Meni..I was told i had to apply for jobs on there website for a period of 12 months which i did..never got any jobs at all..i was also told if it didnt work out for me i could have a full refund..No i didnt get it..i was shouted at on the phone saying they will report me for slander?? I recieved negative emails saying i didnt apply for work so not entitled to a refund?? I did apply for work..I'm so upset by all of this..i used my credit card to pay for this company and i'm now in debt..they do not care about nothing but money..I feel so ripped off!! A lady contacted me and a few others at the time on IG and said she used to work for them and that this is what they did..so please please dont give this company any money..i think some of the good reviews are possibly fake so please be aware..I'm still trying to get my profile took down and photos off google that they still have up?? NOT Trusted...

This is a scam agency. Do you not give a deposit as it won’t be refunded.

Update, This company seems to have relaunched itself as Youth Model Management so beware of them still

Anyone out there looking for an agency to represent them please avoid this agency, they are scammers, the experience was good, but I paid £500 which is a warning sign to start off with and haven’t heard anything or even seen any of my images, they were responsive when asking for payment, but when I contacted them about not receiving my images I’ve had nothing and still haven’t, please don’t wait your money or time on people that take advantage of peoples dreams, make sure you do your research and look at reviews before going and signing.

Do not give them any money, they are thieves! You will not get a profile or modelling roles through them. Their phones don’t work and they do not respond to emails.
