I ordered three items from Zapaka NZ at a cost of NZ$360 including shipping, to be sure at least one dress would be a good fit in time for an upcoming event. The website promised easy returns and exchanges. Tracking information indicated it originated in China. All three items did show up in a single package after about three weeks but with no shipping document inside and no return information. One dress was suitable so I contacted Zapaka to return the other two. I was informed I would have to ship the products to the USA at my expense and, after it was inspected, and if no problem with the returned product, it would be refunded "from the original route" (China?), with a 15% restocking fee deducted. Otherwise I could keep the products and get a coupon worth $15 towards any product, or a coupon worth $107 to order another of the exact same product. Zapaka makes the return for refund option so difficult, expensive and uncertain it is essentially worthless. I will never buy from Zapaka again and will donate the two dresses I can't use to a local charity secondhand shop.
Zapaka's response to my review above is to advise me to locate and send to their "official customer service email" the "original order details", the "package information", and "relevant communication records". If I send them all this information my return request can be "reviewed" and "re-evaluated" for a "more reasonable and satisfactory solution". Once again Zapaka makes the return process so difficult and time consuming for the customer that it's not worth the bother.

Cheap Fabric. Horribly cheap. You can find higher quality at dollar stores. It's great they offer custom fittings, and got them fairly correct, but the use of such horrible fabrics outweighs any positive feedback. $200 dress, worth $5 max.

Was honestly surprised to see all of the bad reviews. Ordered my prom dress about a month ago, it got delivered a few days ago. Bought the smallest size and it fit perfectly, unlike most dresses where the bust area is close to nonexistent. The quality is good considering it’s <$200, looks just like the photo and is absolutely beautiful!

I have never had a problem with the size dress I ordered ever in my life before this. A 7 day return window is ridiculous unless you’re a robot. I was also confused as to why I got a partial refund to order a different size. $90 when I paid $150 for the first order. I won’t be ordering from here again and I’m still going to have to hem the next dress that I’m not even sure will get here on time for my event.

Zapaka eventually reached out and apologized for the delay in responding to my mails. The issue has been resolved and I’m satisfied with how they responded. I’m no longer angry with the brand, like I earlier said, the suit was really nice, only 2 sizes smaller because it doesn’t stretch.

Paid for expedited shipping which was expensive but arrived on time. The BIG problem is with returns. They make it nearly impossible to return an item. The dress I ordered did not fit. The best they offer is to keep the item with a $20 -25.00 credit. To return with full refund you have to put a note in the package? It doesn't say what information should go on the note. You also have to provide them a picture of the package, the label, the name of the shipping company you use and the tracking # MUST be on line or no refund. Goodness. I will never, NEVER order from this company again.
