A personal view of Zen Autos
My wife and I have leased cars from Zen Autos for a number of years and have always had a very positive experience in all our dealings with the company.
Their staff are helpful, knowledgeable and polite which makes interaction with them an enjoyable exercise.
They have also been very competitive on their pricing and this further enhances their overall offering.
Unless something untoward occurs we will continue to be customers of Zen Autos for the foreseeable future.

Shocking disregard for Consumer Rights
Judging from the other reviews on here, Zen seem to be fine unless something is wrong with the car.
My car had a faulty satnav and Zen have tried to intimidate and bully me into thinking I was not entitled to return the vehicle without paying an early termination fee.
After 4 failed attempts to repair by an approved dealer and the manufacturer without success over more than a year , Zen told me I still needed to get the fault diagnosed- LOL.
Zen have also repeatedly refused to accept that my contract is with them, not the car manufacturer.
In the end I read the Consumer Rights Act (CRA) in full and wrote Zen a detailed letter outlining my rights. Basically, there is an initial right to reject faulty goods within 30 days. After that, you have to allow one attempt to repair and if they cannot fix it, you can reject it and state that the contract is at an end (the fault emerged over the first few months in my case). They have to accept the vehicle back without any cost to you. I gave Zen ample warning that the contract would end on 7 October 2024 and that the vehicle would be ready to collect on that day. I’ve also cancelled my direct debit and insurance from then.
They are STILL saying that I will have breached the contract and that a termination fee is due - LOL. But interestingly, since the letter ( there had been many emails before), they have stopped saying the fault needs diagnosing and they have also said they have asked the manufacturer for a contribution. In other words, they know they will not get any more money from me and that none is in fact due, and they know they will need to recoup it from the manufacturer. That is the correct legal position. And yet they are still trying to intimidate me.
Zen has not even acknowledged the CRA and my rights, presumably because they know they do not have a legal leg to stand on. I’m fortunate that I have a law-related job and am capable of standing up for myself.
Shame on you Zen.

Lease experience
I ordered a Tesla and was going to lease it from them. However, I shopped around and found ZenAuto (via Carwow) who offered much more competitive rates. The swap over was seamless and Zen were easy to deal with. Their communications and customer support have been faultless. I would certainly recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend!
I went through such a pleasant experience with ZenAuto.
Before reaching out to them, I spoke to a leasing company who took an entire month to get my financials in check, after letting them know I needed the car ASAP, and in the end they couldn't get me sorted and denied my application after a total of 34 days!!
I called ZenAuto on that same day, and by 5PM I had a new car ordered and on the way, financials approved and all. Lovely people and so smooth and quick, 100% recommend to anybody.

Leasing Faulty cars with No Support
Our experience with ZenAuto has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. They lease out faulty vehicles and provide little to no support when issues arise. My DS 4 Hatchback E-Tense had several significant faults, including a freezing fuel gauge, malfunctioning indicators, intermittent engine problems, and delayed acceleration that nearly caused an accident.
Despite raising these concerns multiple times and following their procedures, ZenAuto failed to provide any real solution. The car was repeatedly taken for diagnostics, but they couldn’t replicate or resolve the problems, leaving me with a malfunctioning vehicle for months. Even more concerning, the car was declared unsafe by the AA, yet ZenAuto continued to charge us for a full 12 months for this faulty vehicle. Throughout this time, communication from ZenAuto was poor, with little regard for the distress and inconvenience caused.
To make matters worse, there was no offer of a realistic refund or meaningful compensation, leaving us stuck with an unsafe car that didn’t work properly. ZenAuto seemed more interested in defending their position than resolving the issue.
If you're considering leasing a vehicle with ZenAuto, I strongly advise against it. Their customer service is inadequate, their vehicles are unreliable, and they may continue to charge you for a car even when it's unsafe. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!
