I purchased many items from them and have already shipped 4 packages. Everything was neatly packed. Arrived quickly with no issues.
The problem may arise from a seller, but a buyer should understand that this company is simply a proxy service and they do their job well.

Zen market PTE will show products then send you something completely different. They make statements that they cannot back and the only time you can get a refund is if there is a defect in the merchandise. Don’t be fooled, be aware. I will never shop with them again.

I am not satisfied with your response, the items sent are sub standard and are not worth what was paid. They are definitely are in no way comparable to what is described in your advertisement. Please send me a return label and reconsider sending me a full refund. Your policy is definitely not in alignment with customer satisfaction, which leads me to believe your company is fully aware of what it is presenting to the public and sending out to customers.

I am not receptive to the fact that this company has a policy that gives no guarantee that the merchandise they advertise and sell is of good quality. These bras look like they were manufactured for a child’s doll. The material is sub standard,it looks like pantyhose material cut in the shape of a bra, there is definitely no support as advertised. Not satisfied with product, not satisfied with the response I received.

I bought a fishing rod from Zen Market the rod was as described, I was little bit worried as a first time buyer from zen market and didn’t know what to expect I’m very happy with my new Zenaq rod and it was indeed brand new and unused as described just excellent. Good seller, even tho the guarantee card is not valid in international and only within the Japan i am curious if i could somehow if anything hapens to get support for my product. I received it and everything in the original package. thank you, I already did my second order and I’m waiting it to arrive I hope It will be the same.

packaged very nicely with lots of bubble wrap, no unnecessarily big box to hike up shipping costs. very happy

Excellent, easy to use and very effective buying service.
Handling, packing and delivery were all expertly done.
The item I was shipping was a bit on the expensive side ($1000), heavy (13Kg) and fragile.
The item was packed in a highly professional manner and was delivered quickly. DDP is the way to go!
Thank you so much - very satisfied

The service fee is very ridiculous. I made a purchase about 7000 yen but the service fee was more than 7000 causing the total fee to be ¥14000. Some of the item I purchased was even lower than the purchase fee. Still like 100 yen. And they still charged a 300 yen on it. INSANE!!!! Would never use their service again

When I was looking at trying out Zenmarket in the past, I noticed that they have an option to describe the way you want the package packed which is why I decided to try them out. I ordered a bunch of music cds, some extremely rare and valuable and I wanted them well protected to prevent damage. Cd cases are often damaged in shipping due to being fragile, and the inserts can sometimes get damaged along with that. I gave them very specific instructions, here's what I said for them to do: "I would like the package double boxed for added protection if this does not make the package a lot bigger (like if the extra box was much larger than the smaller one). Bubble wrap used on the cds would be great, and please fill it with as much bubble wrap as possible to prevent their from being much empty space. If there is empty space in the box, try to center it and fill the sides with packaging so it isn't too close to the corners."
And they did exactly that, they used bubble wrap on the cds, used bubble wrap on the sides to prevent them being too close to the corners, put lots of bubble wrap on the top, double boxed it (the double box wasn't too much bigger which is great),
kept the inside box away from the edges by centering it and filling the sides with paper, used a solid inner box and an extremely thick and sturdy outer box, added the extra corner protection pieces by securely taping them to the box.
One thing I didn't even mention but I was impressed that they did was they took all the cds in more fragile packaging (Digipaks, slipcases, dvd cases, etc.) and put those together on the top and wrapped a few each at a time in bubble wrap, if they put them on the bottom under the others damage would have been more likely to occur.
I decided to use them because the proxy I normally use blocked an item due to something written in the title, so I needed to use another proxy, fast because the auction was ending soon. I only had about 10 minutes left on the auction so I had to add funds to my wallet which I was worried that it wouldn't go through on time, but luckily that only took about 3 minutes to go through. I would have been extremely sad if I wasn't able to win it, because it was a once in a lifetime amazing collection of music that otherwise never appears for low prices. That other proxy has solid packaging but Zenmarket's is on another level altogether. In fact I probably didn't even need to double box the order as the inside box was very well packed already. I'd say to use Zenmarket if you have items that you want well protected and want the item to arrive quickly. The only downside is the shipping will cost more if you use options like double box, but I knew that and didn't mind since I wanted the items to arrive pristine. And when they arrived they looked pretty much perfect!
The only bad thing about Zenmarket, that I hope they fix, is that if you choose ECMS it has tariffs for cds which are supposed to be tariff free. I used UPS since the price was about the same due to the lack of tariffs with UPS since you don't have to prepay with UPS. Zenmarket did correctly list the correct HTS code for cds so I did not have to pay any tariffs or other fees on the package (going to the US) I'm so impressed with the rest of the service I'm not going to knock a point off for it, but it's worth mentioning since you may want to use ECMS, I had wanted to use UPS anyway since I prefer it so it didn't matter for this order. Other vendors may do the same with ECMS, I don't know.
Packaging comparison to other proxies:
I've used three other proxies to buy big cd lots from, DeJ does a good job with the packaging with their protective option (double boxed) but doesn't bubble wrap the items individually and the boxes are weaker, and do not accept packing requests. Was mostly good apart from one time where they used the original sellers packaging and many cds had cracked cases as the shipping boxes used in domestic Japan shipping are usually too wimpy to survive international mail. They were my main proxy before but with how great Zenmarket is I'll just use them from now on for anything fragile. FromJ used recycled packaging which wasn't that sturdy but still packed it pretty decently by double boxing and keeping it away from the corners but they didn't bubble wrap the cds and don't accept packing requests and didn't tape the box up very good, and the package was a bit oversized so I could use my normal surface mail option (before Japan Post stopped shipping to the US. Neok tried somewhat but the bubble wrap was cheap quality, and the box was wimpy so lots of cds had cracked cases, they don't have a protective option either.
With the UPS option the cds arrived to me after only 2 days after being shipped with no noticeable damage to the box or items.
I definitely found my new best proxy for anything fragile or where you need a specific packing request in general!

Good morning, I am Dario and I buy from Italy. I can confirm that ZenMarket is a truly fantastic service for fans of music and Hard bands from the golden years.
It is very simple and precise in both payment and organizing the shipping.
The CDs are of top quality in terms of packaging, nothing is missing (special inserts, obi strips, etc.).
The range of products is truly vast and top-notch.
I hope a discount program will be established.
Have a good day everyone, and congratulations.
Dario

+the only proxy site (to my knowledge) that does advance payment on custom duties
+straightforward and no hidden fees
+support is relatively quick to answer and is generally useful
-sometimes randomly slow to process payments (support literally has no clue on why it happens). This is a problem if for example you see a good deal that might get sniped from you because Zenmarket randomly decides to take 6 hours to process your payment.
-rewards are kinda underwhelming for the amount spent
And, the deal breaker:
-commission is WAY too expensive on mercari. 800 yen is literally absurd. I've been a long time user of this proxy but with the commission being this expensive it's literally cheaper just to pay extra for custom duties on other proxies. The occasional deals do NOT make up for this. Such a shame...

It’s great experience in all ways customers support, the shipping and all that , but I didn’t like 2 things first : The 500 yen for everything you buy even if it a 200 yen gadget . Second: when you put money you will put it in dollar to yen and that takes about 2 to 4 more that the 3,5./‘ so it’s better to charge money yen to yen to be exactly 3,5 percentage .

The communication flowed easily and promptly. I was provided with the estimate of how much the shipping would cost and it was what I paid. I was informed at all times the status in which my order was at. Very satisfied with Zen Market.

“Oops! We're sorry, but we're having some technical difficulties. Please try again later.”
Expect to see this message any time you try to use the website in the U.S. between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. This has been happening all year. I stopped actually shopping on the site months ago now I only browse here and make my purchases through other proxy services.
Zenmarket is so unwilling to scale their systems to match their traffic that their site constantly goes down, and you will lose auctions because of it. Honestly, don’t even bother using them.
And don’t bother asking what happens to the tariff prepayments when carriers don’t actually charge those tariffs they won’t give you a straight answer.
