I inquired about several properties in the last 3 months and besides spam calls never even had a realtor reaching out to me. I was ready to spend a lot of money, but zillow.com is completely and utterly useless - listings are outdated, provide incorrect information and nobody, besides their offshore spam call center, will ever contact you.
Don't waste your time on zillow and simply grab a local realtor.

Every Realtor I talked to told me

Every Realtor I talked to told me, Zillow was a nightmare to deal with. You can submit as many requests as you like, and they will never address your problem. For such a large company, you would think they would invest into their customer service. Not the case.

My Home's Rating is Inaccurate

My Home's Rating is Inaccurate
Somehow my 2BR condo is rated $150K less than 1BR condos in my complex and $250K less than other 2BR condos that have recently sold. Our score was considerably higher before. It almost seems as though someone has deliberately downgraded our home although it has many more updates than the homes that have recently sold for a quarter of a million dollars more. I cannot sign into Zillow, it keeps telling me I am using the wrong password. I am told I will receive a link to change the password but it never I never receive it.

Total customer service failure ...

Since signing a monthly contract for multifamily apartment listing, seven days have gone by with no access to our listing. A listing prepared by Zillow staff continues to be populated with errors preventing leads. Reporting the problem Zillow tech has gone answered. And, believe it or not, when responding to their satisfaction survey I gave it a '1' of '5' ... and upon entry '1' pops up as very satisfied!

Zillow is the Worst

I work for a property management company that uses Zillow and honestly, Zillow is crap. First, it's confusing. People think they can book a showing through Zillow for our properties. We don't see any showing requests. Second, people think applying on there means we receive their application. We don't. They have to apply directly through our website and if they apply through zillow for one of our properties, they are wasting their money on whatever Zillow charges. Again, confusing for potential renters. Third, when someone calls us directly, the annoying "This is a Zillow lead" automated message plays, which sounds like a telemarketer call, which prompts us to erroneously hang up immediately when we hear that automated message, thinking it's a cold sales call. Fourth, potential renters do not understand that while their inquiry feeds through to our system, we get tons of those inquiries and do not have the staff to respond to each one, which is why we have an automated response email that many of them don't see. Fifth, when we remove a listing from our website, which should automatically remove the listing from Zillow, it doesn't happen. We've had people call about properties that we haven't managed in years saying they saw the property for rent on that site. Finally, we have an automated response email (as previously mentioned) that prospects are supposed to receive when they make the inquiry, but it often goes to their spam folders and they don't see the message with our phone number to contact us. Zillow is the worst out of all the mass rental websites.

Slater mcinnis with Keller Williams

Slater mcinnis with Keller Williams was there thru the whole home buying process and was available to show us homes until we found one we liked. We are from Wyoming and was able to complete the process without traveling back and forth to Florida. For any realtor needs i would highly recommend him.

Would be nice if owners/landlords would…

Would be nice if owners/landlords would actually respond when you reach out to them. Its bs. Should be able to report them when they don't. Also should be able to block them.

Also zillow raised their application price to $35 from $30, and they should give you more than 30 days when you pay, and if you don't get a rental should refund you.

Zillow Zestimates

Zillow will not hide my home on their site. Estimates of value are being made with homes in subdivisions on small lots, because there are no comparable properties. My home is on 6.63 acres and their estimate doesn't include the land which in the area is selling for $90-$125,000 per acre. This makes the estimate $500,000 less than real value. This information should not be listed and I should have the option to remove it,

Zillow Is Suppressing Honest Reviews—They’re Letting Bad Agents Off the Hook

I’ve been a loyal user of Zillow for years, but a recent experience has left me frustrated and questioning their commitment to transparency. I’m sharing my story because I think it’s something all Zillow users—and anyone searching for real estate professionals—should know.

Earlier this year, I tried to leave an honest, fact-based review about a real estate agent I worked with. This wasn’t just a bad experience—it was serious misconduct against 7-different victims. The agent in question violated multiple ethical standards as determined by a professional association. As a result, they were fined $15,000 and temporarily suspended from practicing real estate under that association.

Here are just a few of the findings:
- Discrimination: They used racially offensive language in direct violation of fair housing laws.
- Financial misconduct: They accepted payment for services that were never performed and refused to provide refunds.
- Breach of fiduciary duty: They acted in ways that were clearly against their clients’ best interests.
Naturally, I felt compelled to warn others by posting a review on Zillow, thinking the platform was there to protect consumers. But here’s where it gets infuriating: Zillow rejected my review over 9 times.

Their reasons?
- They claimed my review didn’t pass “technical checks” but wouldn’t explain what that meant.
- They said certain words—like "scam" and "racist"—weren’t allowed, even though those terms described what actually happened.

Each time I revised my review, I followed their feedback and edited it to meet their guidelines. But no matter how I rephrased it, the review was rejected. It’s like they’re deliberately suppressing any negative feedback about agents, no matter how serious or well-documented the issues are.

This isn’t just about one bad agent. Zillow’s refusal to publish legitimate reviews creates a system that protects unethical behavior and misleads consumers. People rely on this platform to make informed decisions, but how can anyone trust it if they’re blocking honest, fact-based reviews?

I even contacted Zillow’s support team multiple times to ask for clarification and a fair reassessment. While some representatives tried to help, the system still failed to deliver any transparency or accountability.
At this point, I’m left wondering: How many other honest reviews is Zillow suppressing?

If you’re considering leaving a review about a negative experience, be warned—it might not even make it past Zillow’s moderation system. And if Zillow is willing to suppress reviews like mine, what else are they hiding?
Have any of you experienced this with Zillow? How do we hold platforms accountable for failing their users?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s make sure platforms like Zillow don’t get away with sweeping these issues under the rug.

Who is managing this site?!

Who is managing this site? A friend of mine brought to my attention that my house comes up on this site (without my permission!) and shows it is worth about 1/2 of it's current value! WTF?! And, it's not for sale right now anyway.

If you don't know the actual price, stop making shit up!

Zillow's IT is so bad it easily allows fraud

Someone by the name of Denver is claiming to be the owner of the property at 3944 Woburn Drive, Tucker, GA 30084 on the Zillow.com site. Zillow's interface sucks. Anyone can come on and "claim" a property and try to sell it even if they are not the agent for the property. I am posting this on behalf of the owner who does not know how to use technology and I am one of his assistants.

In mid-October

In mid-October, I contacted Zillow regarding their advertising and pay-at-closing program. During my conversation with a representative named Valerie, I learned that the original program I inquired about was no longer available. She offered an alternative program, which required an upfront monthly payment.

Understanding that the previous option was not accessible, I agreed to participate in a new program for $300 per month, under the condition that it was not a binding contract and could be canceled at any time. Valerie assured me that the leads were verified clients, so I decided to give it a try, with the understanding that I could discontinue if it did not produce results.

In the first month, I received approximately four calls, all of which were transferred to me by an automated system. This raised concerns about the verification process. The subsequent information provided about clients revealed that the properties they were interested in were often unavailable, and my attempts to reach out to them via phone or email were largely unsuccessful.

Communication with customer service is primarily facilitated through Zillow’s Premier Agent platform, and I found that the response from that channel was minimal. After a month without generating any business, I informed Valerie through a voicemail on a Friday ,that I wished to cancel my participation in the program due to the lack of viable leads. Shortly after this notification, I received a call from Zillows automated and transferred a live buyer expressing interest in a specific property.

I met with the potential client, but she ultimately expressed no interest in the home. During our conversation, I offered my assistance and asked if she was currently working with any agent on her home search. She indicated she was not, and I subsequently emailed her several listings, followed by a phone call. Unfortunately, I received no response, which led me to question the authenticity of the lead I was provided.

This experience indicates a significant gap in the service I anticipated versus what was delivered. I have several additional insights and experiences with this program, which I would be willing to discuss further . I have also made my bank aware of the situation and filed a report with the Better Business Bureau, as I believe transparency is essential in these matters.

I have noticed that the original pay-at-closing program, Zillow FLEX, is still being advertised on their site. It raises concerns about the marketing practices employed and whether I was directed towards a different program primarily for the benefit of the representative involved.

Thank you for considering my observations. I hope for more positive experiences in the future, particularly concerning engagement with platforms like Zillow. I am committed to sharing my experiences to help inform others and will be reaching out to relevant consumer advocacy organizations to address these concerns further.
please note these are my opinions solely. They are not accusatory. They are the facts

Thank you for your time.
