Now closed not surprised
Now closed not surprised, no payouts for months trying to sell data back to companies who already have it was never going to work totally flawed.
I’m glad in a way in last few weeks no replies to emails last response was don’t use the app then it’s your choice so not surprised with that attitude you’ve gone bust good riddance.

Account Closure and Unit Balances
In accordance with Section 23 of our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to discontinue the app for business reasons. As a result, all user accounts have been closed, and any available or pending units associated with these accounts have been forfeited.
We deeply regret the impact this will have on our valued users, who have supported us in building a platform that aimed to give individuals a share in the value of their transaction data.
Data Privacy and Deletion
We want to reassure you that your data has always been handled responsibly and in line with our privacy policies. All personal data associated with your accounts will now be deleted. We also confirm that your data has not and will not be sold or shared with any third parties.

Had email to say they they've closed the app and business as unviable and all monies owed have been forfeited.
So anyone owed anything has lost it unfortunately.

Absolutely ridiculous
Absolutely ridiculous. Just gone after months of scanning receipts and now nothing for it. Has it all been a total scam?
Seems like a the Serious Fraud Office should look
Very long time still accepting my receipts and not paying out.
Looking at the company accounts for both ZipZero UK and ZipZero Global it would seem they new this closure was planned.
I think we should be looking at the dodgy practices of ZipZero global and report them to Companies House.

Received email from ZipZero saying it was all over. "Closure of the ZipZero App". It is no longer viable, all user accounts have been closed and any available or pending units associated with these accounts have been forfeited. So there goes my £60 which I had hoped to help me pay my water bill. What a let down.

Continually lied on why funds weren't paid blaming suppliers, just been told its closing as a business and all funds forfeited. I'm out over £100 since April, absolute swindlers.

ZIPZERO Have Become Crooks
Sadly, I can't give a negative or zero star rating, so have reluctantly given them 1 star.
I enjoyed ZipZero for ages. It paid out and was extremely simple to use, but this move to just pull the service without any warning, and lock-out (steal) people's money is borderline criminal. Yes, I know what it says in the T&C's, but for things like this, who really reads through all of them.
ZipZero clearly have no morals or care about all the users that provided them with their data. Hope you all 'rot in hell'.
Payments now void
Payments have now been voided. Not sure what’s going on, monies have been added back to my account and I have put in another request for payment to my provider. No communication to their customers to let them know. Whoever is running this company need to communicate what is going on.
I knew they were going to close!
I said a few weeks ago that because payments weren't being processed that they would be closing down. It's disgusting that they haven't honoured payments set for processing and have gone radio silent. Bad customer service. I tried to put through the amount they set to void again, but that has been cancelled straight away!
Ignoring all messages
I really liked this app in the beginning and managed to credit my electric account last year. However it’s been a week since the app crashed and now cannot connect to the server so I fear it has gone bust. Tried to reach out to customer services which are being ignored, absolutely gutted as I had accumulated a decent amount that I was planning to heat my home with. More annoyed at the radio silence from the company
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE - they have voided all payments and are not paying out. No communication, just silence when sending e-mails asking questions.
This now the second time of them failing to pay out their customers yet still they accept and use our data.
ZIPZERO disappeared
As per other reviews i have not been able to log into the app since last week. Deleted and reinstalled the app but email link not connecting to the server. I only had about £40 but would have been useful for the winter months.
Not good that they have just disappeared without any communication.
