Appalling systems and customer service.
I made an order. Paying by credit card. My payment did not go through. No problem with my card. I pay again and the card payment goes through. I ring them after several days - having confirmed with the card issuing bank that the payment did go through successfully.
The response to the customer call - they sent my credit card payment back and sent me an email requiring me to pay by bank transfer. In a tone that suggests all this was my error.
Terrible customer service and complaint handling.
In the meantime my cats who require a special diet are starving as they dont like other food. Buyers beware.
Further update - adding insult to injury - having now paid by bak transfer - UK bank transfers are same day when conducted with UK banks - they have the cheek to advise me in an unfriendly email that they do not receive money until up to 2 days later as they bank with Commerzbank.Having returned my good payment by card several days ago. APPALLING. My poor cats.

Have used Zooplus for years but recently found their delivery of goods very unreliable. This appears to be partly understaffing in relation to the orders they are receiving and partly because they use Evri, possibly the worst firm they could choose to employ. A text book example of how to lose loyal customers.

I have used Zooplus many many years even when you used to just ring up and ask the girls and give her a credit card number but if anything goes wrong they are a nightmare. They do not care they don’t ring back and some of them are downright rude when I asked man his name so I could have some continuity? He said his name is sh**I then spoke to the supervisor who said she’d call back when she knew the answer that was three months ago since I have spent a fortune on phone calls. Nobody wants to know the problem I have is it doesn’t recognise me as a customer and I have been for many many years, every time I press the button to send the credit card number it wipes the order out I tried several different cards contacted my bank many times and they say it’s merchandiser that has a technical fault, but still am unable to use Zooplus I have tried so hard to use this company as I believe in loyalty it’s a shame Zooplus does not have this same respect for customers

I have been using Zooplus since about 2014. The prices are OK. Delivery usually quick. But the pet food is always poorly packaged -missing boxes, or containing maggots (on more than one occasion) and tonight I received the order and have to negotiate an open bag of cat litter which has sent cat litter all over the house - which I have had to clean up. Plus there are loose trays of cat food scattered all over the place. I have threatened to stop using Zooplus before and now I will.

Excellent service, choice, and prices. Probably the best online company that I have ever dealt with. The Customer service is also really great and helpfull.

Fast shipping, great service. Will order again.

Excellent delivery service I cannot compliment the communication provided highly enough it exceeded all expeditions. the packaging and the box arrived in perfect condition the updates I received through all parts of the transition journey were fantastic! My dogs are very happy with the service too thanks zooplus!

Been with Zoo Plus for years, great website, first class speedy delivery. Can’t speak about customer service because I’ve never had to call them. Would recommend. Just wish they had more 10% days like they used to do :)

Have used this company so many times. I select DPD for delivery as Hermes are useless! I suggest others do the same! And yes, not one issue with any parcel! When one was delayed they kept in communication with me and advised of timeline to contact them if it hadn’t arrived. Love them but they need more selection of toys and bird and small animal bits so I can spend all my money with you lol.

Great product range and prices, easy to use website, fast delivery, responsive customer service

The prices on ZooPlus can’t be beat. Delivery can take about a week to a week and a half but all come couriered. Have used a few times now and very happy with all orders. Bulk order to save more.

I’ve been shopping on this wonderful site for a few years now and this will continue to be my go to site as long as the prices are kept low.

I buy my pets food here on a regular basis, Royal Canin for both my cat and dogs... and many other products that take my fancy for my beloved furry babies!

Very quick delivery via a company of your choice.

products are exactly the same as the Vets and all the pet superstores but ALOT cheaper!

Customer service team are polite and efficient and reply back to you as soon as possible.

Would definitely recommend this Pet site for all your pet needs! it’s a pet wonderland!

Excellent quality coats. Fast efficient service. Free returns easy (my dogs' legs too short to keep trousers in place!) and quick refund, though of course I lost the p&p amount. Replacements came very quickly.

I have always spent a lot with these (i have 12 cats so cheapness is important!) But i now feel like im being penalised for spending more. They are still advertising free over £29 but if your box is heavier (which with over £29 it usually is!) You are being charged by box. How is that free delivery over £29? Have no choice but to look elsewhere :(

Excellent service, choice and prices. Probably the best online company that I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is second to none. Having ordered an orthopaedic bed for my dog I realised when it arrived that it was far too big. No problem, I was told. We'll send a courier to collect it and deliver the smaller one and then refund the difference. None of the "we need to have the original back before we send another". Other companies should take note.
