As mentioned, average webshop with average prices, very poor choice of shipping/carrier company.

I strongly recommend that the managers listen to this customer service call, as the biggest issue is not the policy itself, but the way customers are treated.
The communication was poor from start to finish. There was no empathy, no willingness to understand the customer's situation, and no effort to explain anything clearly. The representative struggled to handle a conversation with a polite and respectful customer, which is especially disappointing.
Great customer service is about listening, communicating, and treating people with respect. Unfortunately, none of those qualities were demonstrated during this interaction.
I will choose to do business with companies that treat their customers like human beings. This experience showed me that this company's customer service has forgotten what genuine customer care means.

I adopted a senior dog and 1 day before ordered some toys and bowls and other things in the assumption that it could take 1-2 days.
My dog has now been here for 2 days and there are still no details of when DPD is going to deliver.
If I had known this I wouldn't have ordered here but bought is somewhere else!!
I thought their service would be great but nothing like this.
Delivered on the 19th.
DPD is reknowned for his slow delivery...

Bad service, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
This is the second time in a row that I have experienced delivery issues and delays.
The first time was in April, when the delivery driver claimed to have come to my house three times and could not find me. This was simply not true, as I work from home and am at home most of the time.
The second issue started with an order I placed on May 25. I was informed that the package had been delivered. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed the delivery and suggested that I check the building's common area or ask my neighbors. There was nothing in the common area, and I could not reasonably knock on every neighbor's door. If the package had been delivered to a neighbor, they should have been able to tell me which one.
Later, I was told that the package had actually been damaged and returned, and that a replacement would be sent on June 3. Today is June 9, and I still have not received my cat food. In the meantime, I have had to buy food for my cat from a local store.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience due to repeated delivery failures.

Everything exceeded expectations!!!
Not sure why the average rating is so low but outstanding experience for me. Discovered via Google while looking for good price bird food. From the ease of discovering and placing the order on the website, communication about delivery and order confirmation, prompt delivery to netherlands, and most importantly outstanding quality of feed, packaging.
Highly recommend for great quality and prompt service, outstanding communication.

I have not yet received the parcel for the amount of EUR 60, I have not received any notification from the courier, 10 days have passed, I have written e-mails asking for a refund,and I get a message that I still have to wait

I gave it 4/5 because we would've liked the order to be correct, but the solution to the problem was better than expected, letting us keep the wrong shipped items to donate instead of making us return them really shows they care about animals.

After years of good service they got so bad they now send packages that are never delivered, keep responding in dutch to english written tickets, and telling you uou got the package when you clearly didn't. Time for change. You are loosing a customer of multiple years.

I've been a customer for many years, in different countries, and Zooplus offers an impressive, consistently good service. Low prices, discounts, loyalty program that works, great value for Zooplus savings plan, and many other features.
Even when things go wrong, the customer service listens to feedback and acts on it quickly.
I will change this review to 5 stars as soon as you stop working with DPD as a delivery partner: it's a guaranteed issue every single time they are the chosen courier.

The products are good quality and the selection is wide, but the delivery time is so long that a pet could starve to death while waiting. The website states 1–3 business days, but I have already been waiting for 8 days and still received nothing. In the meantime, I had to buy extra food for my dog. This is terrible.Finally I received an extra 5% discount for my next purchase, so I’m adding one more star for that.
