Leaving Zosi - Have had Zosi wireless cameras and DVR for years. Initial setup was a bit challenging but doable. The software is not very user friendly but still did the job.
Recently, some of my Zosi cameras started failing or having issues such as the IR LED's failing.
What surprised me is when I checked into replacing the cameras(at my own cost), was told that Zosi does not make any cameras that will work with my DVR anymore. I would have to buy an all new system.
Given the limited functionality and challenging user interface, setup, etc., switching over to Ring while it's more expensive, it's simple to setup, works and Ring still ensures version 1.0 of their stuff still works years later.

No support bought the 4k wireless system in Mid January Have had nothing but trouble. the two antennas, well the hard drive quit and they had me try to get it warranty from Toshiba. not them lol after taking the lid off, I see that only one antenna has a wire, the other does not. I thought i was buying quality because Zosi marketing is all over the internet. Sadly one of the worst decision of my purchasing life.
I Purchased a dual lense camera that operates both wifi and eithernet. I am a IT pro so I know what to look out for.
Here is the list of problems
- SD CARD COULD NOT BE READ BY CAMERA. REPLACED 128GB WITH 256GB SD CARD AND STILL NO LUCK
- NO PLAYBACK. BECUASE THE SD CARD CANNOT BE READ, IT IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAYBACK ANY ALERTS. I RECEIVE MESSAGE ALERTS BUT YOU CANNOT REVIEW THEM.
- MESSAGE ALERT STOPPED WORKING. NO IDEA WHY BUT NOW O DO NOT RECEIVE ANY ALERTS
- FIRST LINE SUPPORT IS POOR AND LACKS PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE. THEY WERE BLAMING POOR WIFI CONNECTION. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CAMERA NOT BE ABLE TO RECORD. THEY DONT GET IT.
- TO PLEASE SUPPRT TEAMS. I CONNECTED CAMERA USING EITHERNET CABLE. AND SAME ISSUE, CANNOT PLAYBACK ANY OF THE RECORDING.
in the end I purchased a cheap Codnida camera to test other brands. And guess what? The codnida works 100% perfectly and it is half the price of a zosi. Codnida had no wifi issues and playback is almost instant even with my poor Internet (as stated by Cathy in support).
First line support is terrible. I had to share my user ID and password with them. This makes me uncomfortable. We are taught never to share credentials. But here is a international company requests my credentials.
In conclusion. Zosi cameras are not fit for purpose. They cannot protect your property and prove unreliable should you need to share footage with the police or other official body. Please save your money and trial other brands of cameras before spending too much

it is the worst company i have ever dealt with. customer service sucks. i have a bad dvr with a 2 year warranty and won't do anything about it. i have messaged them several times. i strongly suggest buying a system from someone else!!!!!
Beware of antenna fittings on C168A cams
Its a great system. Only flaw i saw was that the wifi C168A cameras with 2 antenna's does not specify placement of the antenna's. 1 antenna is a dummy and the other one is the main. The fittings are different and it does matter which one goes where. If your not aware of this, screwing them in the wrong spot could damage the fitting. DT

Purchased a 4 POE camera NVR set two months ago. Out of the box, only 3 cameras worked. The next day, two other cameras stopped working. Finally, the last one stopped.
They finally acknowledged that the firmware was the problem, but continue to refuse to accept a return for a full refund. Stay away!! They will not accept returns if anything goes wrong. You will just throw your money away.

Zosi products are good but terrible support.
Zosi products are good but product support is the failure of the company. The company's service support group is nothing short of terrible.
I have had to deal with them on two issues over the last 6 months. the first item was a technical glitch in the on screen camera mode switching program for their security cameras. The second is still ongoing for a failure of a DVR motherboard.
Both experiences have shown the technical knowledge and professionalism of the support staff to be poor.
They do not read the request and repeatedly ask for information already provided. i understand there is a language barrier but I question whether or not the staff can read. Or perhaps they operate like the insurance industry and simply delay and deny until the customer gives up.
COMPANY BELOW STANDARD ADVERTISED
After just after 18 months cameras started to fail got replacement cameras after seeking advise from company, these were not compatible with original hard drive even after was told they would be , company hard to get hold off and slow to reply, if you buy from a third party they don't won't to know anything on their products, LEAVE THIS COMPANY WELL ALONE THEIR PRODUCTS & CUSTOMER SERVICE IS USELESS!!!
