I can't even begin to say how happy I…

I can't even begin to say how happy I am. The lamp that I bought is really excellent quality, beautifully made and I was kept informed along the way during the shipping process, including a short delay of a couple of days while we waited for more stock to arrive. I would highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Swoon…

I have been getting beautiful pieces of furniture from Swoon for many years now. When I'm in the market for new furniture I might go down a few new rabbit holes in my search, but I always end up coming back to Swoon in the end. There is just something about the pieces they sell that has a superior quality to the design. You can try and find similar items with Google Lens, and there are many dupes around, but Swoon's products are just always in a different league. I recently bought a couple or chests of drawers and unfortunately one arrived with a few issues (it turned out I was likely accidentally sent an item from the Almost Perfect range instead). Both Reece and John did so much more than I expected to make sure the issue got resolved. You almost want things to go wrong just so you can deal with their friendly customer service team. 😂😂 John kept me informed along every step and called me back twice to make sure that I was happy with the outcome. They also made an offer of a partial refund for having been sent a damaged item - this is not something I asked for or even expected, but Swoon offered nevertheless. Its the confidence and peace of mind in both the quality and customer service that keeps me wanting to fill my flat with their products.

I had an amazing experience with…

I had an amazing experience with Philips Hue customer service recently, so good I simply had to come to Trustpilot with it. I contacted them to buy a power cable for a Hue Go first generation lamp that has been sitting unused for a couple of years due to the power adapter having blown during a power surge. The item was purchased back in 2018 so it was well out of warranty. An extremely helpful Lorena sourced a power adapter from a warehouse and sent it to me, giving a new life to an item I haven't been able to use for the longest time. I couldn't be happier! One issue I have been having, and I'm sure most people have been having with Hue, is the price. I recently bought a new light from IKEA for £35, but as it takes 3 X E14 candle bulbs, it would cost £140 to fully get on my Hue grid. So solely based on the cost I have been thinking about slowly transitioning to Govee - or at least have the two systems run alongside each other. However, experiencing better than Apple aftercare for a product so long out of warranty secured my loyalty for another decade or two. Btw, it is worth mentioning that despite having been collecting Hue lamps since I got the original LivingColors light back in 2007 and now having a full two bed apartment with every light on the network, the only problem I had was this one Hue Go with a blown power adapter due to a power surge - I have upgraded here and there, but nothing else died on me yet. All and all the quality and support you get with this ecosystem will be unmatched by their biggest competitor, Govee. So I'm staying because although it is expensive, it is the best out there and you ultimately get what you pay for.

Full marks for customer service

I had a couple of queries before I could proceed with buying a coffee table I had both my eyes and heart set on for some time. Gemma Burn at Swoon Editions customer service was incredibly helpful and replied to all my queries promptly and ultimately helped me realise my mini coffee table dream.

There is just something about Swoon that makes it stand out against similar retailers. Once you find a design that you like, you can rabbit hole and Google lens it all you like, trust me I have, but you just won't find anything else quite like it. Sure, there are replicas and things that come close - just never quite as well made, solid or beautiful.

I personally would highly recommend Swoon for unique pieces of furniture that you can't help but admire every time you see.

Inedible and put off by the smell.

I had to throw it away!
Tired of Christmas turkey and trimmings, I thought I'd treat myself to some pizza... What in the ughhh?? The chicken actually stank like it was off - yes, like they froze and defrosted and refroze it over and over as business came and went. Actually, it might have put me off chicken for the rest of my life... So thanks Papa Johns for ruining a staple and on top of that, no more garlic dip? Will never, ever order from them again.

Edit 31st December: I felt extremely nauseous all the next day, unable to work and I still haven't eaten anything chicken based 6 days later. There was definitely something wrong with the chicken they served!

I'm so impressed

I'm so impressed! After rabbit-holing new dining room tables and chairs for days and to the point where everything started to look the same, the Skandi honey mango dining table, wishbone chairs and bench popped up in my search. It was exactly what I was looking for and somehow it was quite a bit more affordable than what I had been seeing around up to that point. I'd never heard of Casa Bella before, so did my usual ritual of safety checks and soon discovered that in addition to an excellent Trustpilot score, hundreds of people posted photos with reviews of their new furniture in their homes and pretty much everybody seemed over the moon. There was just one problem; the table was in stock, but not the bench or the chairs. I was having a friend over from the US for Thanksgiving this year, so the pressure was on to find a solid wood table with no veneer or engineered wood parts anywhere. I really needed the table, but was happy to wait for the parts that weren't in stock. I'd read somewhere on the website that it was a small family owned company and called them, there would be no harm in just asking; if I offered to pay the shipping twice, could they please send the table now and then send on the chairs and bench when they came into stock? I didn't expect them to say yes, but to my surprise they did. They split the original order into two orders and went so far out of their way to accommodate my very annoying request and keep me updated of all the movements along the way. The level of customer service Casa Bella provided is just not something you see that often these days - they bent over backwards to help me get my dilemma sorted.

The table arrived within a week and it's absolutely beautiful! Solid, sturdy and heavy with a beautiful finish. I was slightly concerned initially, as the outside box did arrive a bit battered, but everything was tightly bubble wrapped inside and the table was in perfect condition. I am so thrilled and can't wait for the rest of the order to arrive now. Highly recommended!

Amazing mattress

Amazing mattress! After having returned two beds in boxes, a Leesa and a Simba, I started to wonder whether I might be a real life incarnation of the Princess and the Pea... However, delivered to my door at no extra cost on a Saturday, arrived the holy grail of mattresses; the 2000 pocket spring, hand tufted, hand crafted in Hampshire and filled with locally sourced cotton, cashmere and silk; Lyndhurst 2000, previously (guessing now) known as The Swoon (the one I got). I can't recommend the mattress more... Oh and I love Swoon anyway....
