Con artists is being polite. I have used my Local auto centre for years. I recommended them to my wife as she required an MOT
After checking over the car and confident it would pass. I was shocked when I was informed it had actually failed because the headlight AIM was at the wrong angle. They charged me £20 to turn the dial to adjust back to the level it should have been, then claimed they had to get specialist equipment in to adjust! Must of flown in by jet, as I checked the MOT Status at 2pm on the DVLA website & it only showed the last mot PASS in March 2025. At 2.02pm it showed it at Failed and Passed within 30 seconds of each other. The car was scheduled for its MOT at 1.20pm so the ‘specialist equipment was to try and justify why they charged £20!!
I and my wife will no longer return to any HALFRAUDS for any future work or MOT. And will not be recommending the joke establishment to anyone.
If you need any work doing, TAKE IT SOMEWHWRE ELSE ! Do not use HALFRAUDS especially if your Female !
