This site is a joke

This site is a joke, especially Locanto.jp

Classified dating: prostitutes from Thailand offer their services instead of paying for their ad. And the the ""real"" women never answer. And for each message you are charged US$ 2,-
If you want to see you "liked" you, again you are charged....but no results at all.

Germany`s worst bank

Germany`s worst bank

Nothing works. The ATM touch screen at TRIER branch did not respond to my finger tapping, no matter how often I tried. Then I went to the manager. He said I should try telephone service!
I called and had to wait 25 min. on hold. Then the person said he needs my ID no. I input the ID, but the guy was gone, so I had to wait another 20 min.
Their system discriminates (aged) people who are not good with digital technology. Its a nightmare even for business men like mie.

Review of Daihonzan Eiheiji

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A magnificent facade indeed, but no Buddhist values

The temple grounds are surrounded by lush nature and beautiful scenery. If you just visit them for sightseeing, the place is pretty impressive. However, staying there over night, or getting in touch with their philosophy gives you a different picture altogether.
The entire set up targets at training monks over a period of 2 years, so they can take over a temple of their own afterwards. Such monks usually get married, have kids, drive an expensive car, drink alcohol and enjoy having meat. At EiheiJi I learned that nobody really cares about the society.
Zen temples in Japan usually take care of a graveyard, which is annexed. A ceremony incl. grave costs between US$ 30.000 and 80.000 - so the monks have plenty of income to live on.
One might argue, that my comment has nothing to do with EiheiJi as a tourist destination, but this place is the HEAD QUARTER of the entire Soto Sect Buddhism, worldwide! To be honest, I was shocked by their attitude.

Review of Deutsche Postbank AG

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Review of Agoda

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A trap?

No person to contact, no eMail, no emergency service. They even deducted money from credit card without my consent. Terrible experience.
Correction: The hotel waived the cancellation fee, and the tel. no. of Agoda I found, somehow, on the internet (not provided by Agoda though). So things are sorted out.
Never trust the hotels!! Even if they accept your cancellation you still need to inform Agoda.
Also, the THAILAND PASS (Thai Pass) application does not work. Hundreds of tourists are stuck at home, unable to go to the airport as processing takes 6 days and more. In many cases you get a denial without reason, or the OK comes on the day of traveling. A nightmare. Difficult to cancel hotels then, which all must be booked and paid in advance.
