I visited the Halfords Horsham branch on 5/3/26 in search of a reasonably priced motorbike helmet.
The helmet selection was limited so it was a case of finding one of the correct size and fit rather than specific design or price . Hence l spent a little more than intended .
Having said that; the Halfords price was a lot less than the same helmet was being advertised anywhere else!
The assistant was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about the products . He was also patient and
cheerful .
I squelched into the store aware that l looked like a scruffy,oil covered old bloke crossed with a tramp ( l had just been working on motorbike🙂) but left the store feeling that l had received such
good service l was prompted to
write a review!

The parts ,an old style crank spindle and cotter pins for a 1960s cycle, arrived very quickly.
The combined price of items and postage was very reasonably and the description and dimensions quoted were accurate.
The parts fitted perfectly and l would use this business again without any qualms.

I recently bought a Bass ukelele from G4M and was very pleased to receive a neat little instrument that deserves a review of its own.
It arrived quickly and the packaging was excellent .
Unfortunatly lt appears that G4M had been lax with basic pre dispatch inspection. A quick check of the product would've revealed a badly stuck tuner and crooked battery cover
Maybe G4M rely too much on factory quality control.... .
Rather than send the item back l took a risk and worked on it myself . I expect that doing so suffed the warranty but l was desperate to play what is something of a niche instrument.
Another omission is the lack of even a simple user manual . A few lines regarding the care of the unique strings used on the instrument should be a minimum requirement!
So ,only four stars ; good product , fast service but let down by quality control.

With my old amp in for repair this Red Sub amp was bought as a stop-gap ,mainly because of its low price, with no unrealistic expectations of it matching the performance of more expensive equipment.
It actually does its job quite well . Driving both a single 12" and two 12" cabinets in parallel it sounds pretty good. Used with my jazz bass and a cheap semi acoustic bass the tones are as expected from each instrument . With my ancient Vox Bassmaster for some reason the sound is a bit too muted and woody . That could be a mismatch of old and new technology though.
I imagine this amp is going not aimed
at the professional musician market but it certainly could be used beyond the bedroom and band practice scenarios and used for live performances creditably. For the price this amp so far outperforms expectations .
Only long term use will prove how reliable it is of course but l've no need or intention of pushing it to its limits just to satisfy curiosity !
I can't vouch for the Loop or Blend functions as l haven't used them . The various adjustment knobs all seem to do the right thing ; though l've not wound anything up to silly levels . Even top of range amps can get funny about that sort of thing.
A couple of cons; an instruction leaflet would've been useful and one leg on the plug was found to be damaged when the Amp arrived. Luckily l was able to carefully straighten it .
Maybe the lack of instructions and plug damage can be explained by the fact that this particular amplifier came at a slightly discounted price .
I'm not complaining ; l still think it's good value .
