Fabulous service by the technician - let down by parts sourcing

Fabulous service by the technician - friendly and efficient. Awful service for availability of appointments and unbelievable issues in trying to get a rear quarterkight fot 2021 plate BMW 5 series tourer - took over 2 weeks to source the glass. Lucky the window did not implode during this time

Course was well organised

Course was well organised and taught only enough detail for you to pass the course. The full syllabus is huge so learning it all was not an option. I hardly used any external material and passed with a GPA over 70%. Their learning technique of spaced repetition and repeated practise questions works well

SQE 1 and 2 - well organised and professional

Studied both SQE1 and 2. Well organised and professional tutors. The best learning method - time spaced repetition. The highest pass rates....... However I would not study with Barbri if you have not studies law before as it simply does not go into enough depth. I would encourage any non law graduates to do a GDL first unless you have been a paralegal with lots of experience in many areas. For many reputable law firms the GCDL is a pre-requisite for NQs

About the GDL - we have many students from non-law degree backgrounds who pass the SQE the first time. We recommend doing our 6-week Foundations in Law course so students can familiarise themselves with the basics of English and Welsh law, and our 40-week course is specifically aimed at those from non-law backgrounds to help embed the knowledge over a longer period. The pass rates speak for themselves :)

We also work with many law firms, in-house legal teams and alternative legal service providers who employ SQE NQs. And for clarification, from next year there is no alternative for graduates - the SQE will be the only route to qualification, as set by the SRA.

Worst Customer Service ever…

Customer service is worst I have ever experienced. We had an issue with updating license details where a rep simply requested an additional amount with no proper explanation and demanded a large increase in premium when we asked to speak to a supervisor they simply cut off the web chat. You can not speak to any customer rep by telephone about an issue, We then started a new chat and the same rep answered the chat and cut it off again. Boom then sent a cancellation notice by email giving 7 days to reply which unfortunately we did not read as it was so generic it was sent to the spam folder. No postal notice was sent and no attempt was made to inform us of the insurance cancellation. The cancellation was only discovered when checking the credit card statements resulting in us inadvertently being without insurance cover and potentially breaking the law. Now we have a policy cancellation recorded against us....... which is accurate but more than misleading as it resulted from Boom's failure to make contact in a satisfactory manner. If you want any form of customer service or fair and proportional consideration of problems AVOID this company like the plague!
