Brilliant service - thank you

What can I say? The quickest, kindest resolution to my email when I realised I’d ordered the wrong size Apple Watch strap. Within hours a replacement was on its way - before I had returned the mistaken purchase. Couldn’t ask for better service than this. THANK YOU and Merry Christmas

So so flight

So so flight, not great or that friendly but ok with reasonable special diet food. BA’s economy flight tactic of not allowing us to choose seats sucks. Next US flight will be with a provider who DOES allow us to choose our own seats 24 hours ahead. Old couple on our outbound were separated! We were given one option only. Avoid any company racing to the bottom alongside Ryanair.

We always love The Greenbank

We always love The Greenbank - it is stylish, the food a treat and the location awesome. And the staff are AKWAYS lovely. The lunch offer a little less swanky feeling than previously so would happy pay a bit more to keep it feeling as special as it used to, but I understand times are hard. Ooh and I’d love the dog to be allowed in!

Great service but some rules need to be in place …

It was GREAT to get a bamboo dining set all the way to Cornwall at such a reasonable price and I like the speed at which quotes come in. The courier who delivered it (Cidor) was fantastic.

The Shiply team are responsive and friendly but I have knocked off a point for their failure to stop a previous courier (SJ) leaving me a nasty revenge review after I was forced to cancel him. He was advising other couriers to avoid me!

Shiply say they didn’t have details to adjudicate, but they can read the messages which refute the claim that he gave me a collection date, and they can see he never responded to THEIR message asking him to contact me after the vendor wanted info.

So, I have for the first time online a negative review whichbothers me - other businesses stop such childish, unfair behaviour. Shape up please Shiply and please have review rules as other businesses do.

Great but huge allergen ignorance & some ripoffs

Great trip on Iona this Spring on a very reasonably priced Fjords week. Quiet inner cabin, friendly staff, lovely ship, lots of outdoor and indoor space, options of things to do and places to eat. 5* for sure in lots of ways but, most
seriously, inconsistent allergen listings and misinformation given to passengers. Staff who would lie and risk passenger anaphylactic shock / death rather than admit or check if food contains dairy. Labels not matching details in food packages when checked. Scary.

Some areas felt like ripoffs eg. c.£139 for a manicure and pedicure - a much more reasonably priced spa essential on a relaxing holiday. Yes I’d go again but id skip all pampers and be soo cautious when dining. Come on P&O!

A very quick overturning of fine…

A very quick overturning of a patently unfair penalty notice from Alliance Parking. Thank you, IAS. Please don’t be out off by these reviews if you KNOW you were in the right and have evidence - We provided photo evidence and explained the issue and hey presto no fine.

Tbh, Alliance should NEVER have rejected our first appeal to them - I suspect the IAS is overloaded due to charlatan companies trying to scare people into paying unfair penalties.

Not much cop

End of the free period where you can see your activity on camera - which now would cost £4.99 pcm or c£10for that and other cameras.

As a camera doorbell with no purchased package now the free trial has ended, it is not great at all. there is an unacceptable delay and repeated screen messages before you see your live feed that you are not on the package - so you’re basically being arm twisted to pay the subscription.

By the time you’ve clicked off the message and with the screening lag slowing access ‘live feed’ the person/activity has gone! Grrrr. Plus it picks up stuff it’s not set to, so the dog is a bag of nerves!

I’m considering putting up a sign by the doorbell saying ‘RING is useless - please stand like a muppet for 30 seconds so I have half a chance of seeing and talking to you.’ Do not recommend. Don’t believe the hype.

Excellent

Excellent first couple of weeks with our carefully delivered boxes. We feel more full and healthy, and having all the ingredients for each meal packed in brown paper bags is so convenient. Very little waste re packing and easily recyclable/foldable delivery boxes.

We’ve enjoyed every meal, even my omni husband, and only found one or two meals which benefit from a bit if spicing up or occasional portions which come out smaller than others. One curry was huge though and froze well.

Would like a little more clarity about what is actually organic in each box eg. Veg but overall v happy! Thank you x
