Think before buying...

If you're thinking about buying from the Harvey Norman Customer Direct website—don’t. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

I had an issue with an item I purchased, and trying to get support was a nightmare. There is no way to speak to a real person—no phone number, no live chat. The only option is to email them, and it takes days to get a response. Every reply felt like it reset the conversation, and I ended up exchanging around 20 emails just to get a simple refund.

To make matters worse, the Customer Direct website is completely separate from the physical Harvey Norman stores. You can’t walk into a store for help, returns, or even basic support—they’ll just tell you they can’t assist with online orders.

It took 30 days of back-and-forth emails to finally get my refund. The whole process was slow, impersonal, and incredibly frustrating.

Bottom line: Don’t waste your time. If something goes wrong, you’ll be stuck in a long, drawn-out process with minimal support. Buy your item from a retailer that actually stands behind their service.

No reply to emails or generic response from a robot.
Would not refund me due to a cyclone on the Gold Coast where all flights were cancelled and multiple attempts to contact them to re book a different time and no reply. Hotel even reached out to them and nothing. a scam and joke. DO NOT BOOK AT OWN RISK!

We’d like to clarify that your booking was fully confirmed, as you are aware. On the day of your arrival, you requested a date change. Unfortunately, as per the booking conditions you agreed to at checkout, changes are not possible.

We promptly responded to your request and informed the hotel (while keeping you in the loop) that the modification was not possible according to our supplier’s policy, and requested them to proceed with the modification from their end: "Can you kindly proceed with the modification? Our supplier has informed us that they are unable to make any modifications for this booking.."

We understand the inconvenience this situation has caused and will continue to work with our supplier to explore possible solutions. Thank you for your understanding.

Very happy and love it

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Zaneti’s! Their furniture is not only stylish and well-made but also offers incredible value for the price. We’ve had our outdoor set for over a year now, and it still looks as good as new. When one chair had a minor issue upon arrival, their customer service team was quick to resolve it with a hassle-free replacement. Highly recommend Zaneti’s for quality, affordability, and outstanding service!
