I recently purchased A Bryston DAC from HiFiX, it was the shop demo unit so had some reservations as to what condition it would be in.
I did pay a really good price for it, and when it arrived was well pleased.
Item was in A1 condition, well packed in original box with original instruction manual.
Delivery was quick, and free.

Called for advice on speaker cable, that would best complement my audio system. At no time did the agent attempt to pressure a more expensive sale and his recommendation turned out to be an excellent VFM choice. I am delighted with the improved sound quality my chosen speaker cable facilitates.

SW could regognise the destination and skip the credit card option in the payment. Understanding the total transaction cost for paypal takes time as the instruction is long and complex. GLS, local agent, could contact and give an ETA or agree on delivery time.
Keep the attitude, will certainly use hifix again and recommend others.
Good site though worried that product box had big gash in it which was not evident on outer packaging. However packing in box was intact and product fine. Absolutely loving our sound dock
After a few years of excellent performance from my Denon mini-hifi, it was time for a replacement (it was starting to have trouble reading CD's). Being a confirmed Denon man since buying an excellent tape deck of that make two or three decades ago, I read about the Denon CEOL N8 mini-hifi, and liked the sound of its features, especially its wireless connection capability.
So I priced it at my local Richer Sounds, who reckon they're the cheapest around. However, having had an excellent purchasing experience from HIFix before, I looked up their website to see if they sold it. Not only did they have it in stock, but it was £30 cheaper than Richer Sounds (and with free P & P).
So I ordered it and within a day or so received an email to say it was on its way (along with a tracking number for Parcelforce). I was out when it was delivered within 3 days of ordering, but Parcelforce left it at my local Post Office which is just down the road. Other items I've had delivered when I've been out have been taken back to some warehouse 20 miles away, so big thumbs up to Parcelforce here.
As usual the Denon kit was as awesome as I was hoping for.
So overall, great product from a terrific company with an excellent website, top-notch service, unbeatable prices and free P & P. I highly recommend HiFix, and would certainly use them again.

Ordered the Denon system after looking round, Currys £360 and £189 from HiFix. Yes i didn't get speakers for the price however i didn't need them.

The purchase (Marantz separates) itself went well, but unfortunately the delivery to my Spanish address didn't! The estimated 2-3 days became more than a fortnight, Parcelforce (the company they chose!) did their best to avoid helping, and only for me chasing, chasing, chasing (endlessly) the missing items, I don't know how long it would have taken!
Sadly, I won't be able to buy from Hifix again unless they use a much better courier service. Life's too short!
Desperate to avoid using tax avoiding Amazon, I was delighted to find this website. Headphones arrived very quickly, no problems at all, will definitely use again.
Ordered a Denon RDCN8 and KEF LS50s. I initially put the order through online but there was a problem at my bank's end. A HiFix rep called me and resolved the issue- which I appreciated. Also, I expected delivery to take 3 to 5 days but they dispatched it via a 24 hour delivery service.
So, customer service was excellent, speed of delivery was great (faster than I expected), the products arrived well wrapped up (fantastic given the snow) and I've been very happy with them.
I have no complaints or problems with any element of the service from HiFix and would definitely purchase from them again.
Read a review of some computer speakers and liked them. Followed a link to the best price available which took me to HiFix where I ordered them. They arrived as quickly as humanly possible and sound great. What more can I say?
I bought a Roberts Solar Dab2 radio from HiFix, and it arrived a few days later. Unfortunately the rechargeable batteries that came with it (supplied by Roberts) were faulty and did not charge correctly. I contacted HiFix, and they sent through replacement batteries by return. Now everything works correctly. Very good product, excellent customer service. Would use them again.

My contact with Hifixabout tracking my order after despatch was a bit confusing: although the mail stated that the parcel was despatched with DPD I was sent a link for ParcelWorldwide services, which gave some difficulties with the tracking number...
I was a bit dubious about buying something called 'b" grade, however I phoned HiFix and was put at ease about the product. There was still part of me that wasn't sure if I should go ahead with the purchase, but with a saving of over £150 it would have been daft not to. I placed the order and twenty four hours later the box arrived. The package was in a large carboard box and I was expecting all the speakers to be bundled inside, but this box just held the KEF box, which appeared unopened. Inside this box was 1 sub and 5 satellite speakers, after 10 mins of looking over them for faults I gave up, all where in mint condition and work perfectly, something my neighbour will agree with, as his door closing seems to have got louder! I will use this company again without a second thought, highly recommended
I was happy with every aspect of my recent purchase from HiFix. The product was OK, what I expected. The speed of delivery was exceptional...but it was the quality of the delivery that was the star. This is the second delivery I have had from DPD in as many weeks: their communication of expected delivery is second to none. If I knew in advance that they were the courier it could make the difference of choice between similar suppliers. I intend to buy a pair of small speakers next month and HiFix are in pole position because of their courier.

I needed some speaker cables to fit a QED switch box I had also purchased from Hifix. I asked several questions, some probably quite stupid, by e-mail and always got a prompt and helpful reply. I purchased the cable wich turned up very quickly despite the adverse weather. I am very happy with the cable and therefore the advice given. I will most certainly use them again.
