TERRIBLE MACHINE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Bought the Beko WDX8543130W as needed a combined washer dryer. What a total waste of money. 20 months in the dryer stopped heating up. Beko washed their hands of it. Now I have to pull the washer out and take the top off to reset the dryer every few washes. The dryer takes hours....set it to cupboard dry and it's nowhere near dry. Often if set to synthetic or cotton dry it fills the drum with water again despite being on dry only setting. Infuriating after waiting hours and hours for cycle to be back at the start again. I have had second hand washing machines last years longer than this thing. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER BUY BEKO AGAIN.

Never buy Beko due to poor customer service

We purchased a Beko Washing Nachine in May 2020. It stopped working in August. I phoned Beko as under 1 year guarantee. They sub contracted out to Dolphin services. 10 days later engineer visited. Confirmed he did not have part, would need to order and return visit in 3 weeks. 3 Weeks later get a phone call from Dolphin to advise part can not be sourced so machine not repairable and they will advise Beko and should get a call within 24 hours for replacement machine delivery. 1 week later Dolphin called to say good news, Beko have agreed replacement and I would need to call retailer. I refused as no confirmation and called Beko. Beko advised they know nothing about a replacement machine but would look into it and call me back within 48 hours. No call for 1 week. Last Thursday I called Beko, they advised that they again can trace no information on replacement but would call me back within 24 hours. No call for 4 days. Phoned Beko Monday, they advised that they were awaiting authorisation to replace machine but promised 100% that I would get a call in less than 24 hours. No call! Phoned Beko Wednesday, to be advised that no request had been made to replace our machine and a new request needed to be made. Complained, requested manager call back. Was promised call back within 2 to 24 hours. No call received! Phone Thursday Morning to be told that they had authorised repair but forgot to tell me. Was given code to replace with retailer. No direct replacement with Beko. Still requested management call back. Manager called at 5pm, very rude, refused to give name, denied they had promused call backs, refused to admit any fault or make any apologies for a young family being without a washing machine, in a pandemic for over 6 weeks!!!!

Poor Product and Service

Once signed up, there is again very little information on when repair will be done - spent hours chasing them on phone to no avail. In the end cancelled the plan and binned the machine. I should say that their telephone operators are usually helpful and sympathetic - just nothing ever happens as a result of the call...

Stay clear of Beko products

This is Worst product I have ever bought.
I bought a Beko slimline dishwasher from AO around one & a half years ago & now something has gone wrong as the machine doesn't heat up anymore, I contacted Beko & was told because it is out of warranty nothing could be done, I usually buy Hotpoint as I have had a washing machine that lasted 8 years along with other products. Against my better judgement I thought I would try beko as this is the first dishwasher I have had, Big mistake, it is going to cost £110 to get it repaired.
Never again ever with beko, there products & service are crap.
Stay clear of this company, pay a little more & get something decent.

Save your time and money and stay away from Beko products!

Please save yourself your time and money and stay away from any products from Beko.
Their customer service is as cheap as their products.
I have had to make four phone calls to try and get in touch with a manger and as of yet I still haven’t been able to speak to a manger.
They promise to call you back And they don’t.
I’ve been waiting 12 days to make an appointment for an engineer and I’ve finally got one but I have to wait three weeks to get one to look at my 12month old washer dryer that has gone dead on me.
I’ve had someone look at it and it is a fault with the machine however I feel I will have to buy a new one (Not by Beko) as by the time an engineer finally gets round to looking at the washer I’ll probably have to wait another month for them to order a part and then another month after that for them to fit it. So all in all I will have to had to wait months before I can even use my washing machine again.
Who can afford to wait that long when you have a family?
Worst company I have ever dealt with.
They are an embarrassment!

Never again will I buy Beko

I have a Beko washing machine and cooker with ceramic hob, bought 2016, both are rusting - washing machine in particular has chunks falling off, revealing rust beneath. The white surface is just crumbling off. As it’s outside of guarantee, Beko refuse to do a thing. Which I feel is wrong, as this cannot be fixed under any guarantee. Goods were clearly substandard from the beginning. Never again will I buy Beko. These goods should have lasted years, as I do take good care of my things.

Brought a double fridge/freezer that…

Brought a double fridge/freezer that did ice and water in June. They have been out to fix it 3 times. Can time to replace....Sorry no product in country. No parts in country. Beko customer service were rude and condesending. It was basicly tough luck. I have tò go back to store I purchased from and get refund. Store won't refund until they have the fridge.....I can't buy another without refund and putting in extra $$$$. So angry and left feeling ripped off.

FAULTY APPLIANCES, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

We purchased a newly built property through PortDevon. Since 15/08/2020 (the day we moved in) we've been without a working fridge. This house is brand new, including all its appliances. However, our fridge has never worked.

PortDevon advised us that we needed to contact BEKO directly. We've encountered nothing but problems ever since.

We're kept on hold for at least 40 minutes before anyone answers the phone. When I first made contact I was advised "wipe down the suction parts with a hot steamy cloth and I bet that will resolve the issue". We did just that and it did not fix the problem.

We called back and we're told an engineer would visit us a week later. An engineer came and told us that another engineer needs to come out to us to "reset the gas". He assured us someone would be in touch but it could take a further 1-2 weeks before an engineer could come to the property!!

We didn't hear from BEKO as promised, so my partner called them again and was told an engineer would be with us by yesterday. No engineer came and we called BEKO again only to be told this had been rearranged to the 16th September. They claimed a text message was sent but this is just another lie from BEKO.

We asked can anything be done sooner. BEKO said they could send someone this Saturday! Hooray! Just as he's about to give the engineer's contact number the line goes dead. We call back and this time we're told the information we were given before was a load of rubbish and that if we wanted anything done sooner than the 16th September, we would need to contact the retailer and "exercise our consumer rights".

I've raised a dispute through Resolver which BEKO are yet to respond to. We didn't have a choice when purchasing appliances as everything came with the house. However, if you're thinking of buying a BEKO product, please rethink because this could easily happen to you or anyone else.

The beko washing machines are fantastic…

The beko washing machines are fantastic mine was £199.00and washes better than more expensive one 12 month gaurantee any way why would you insure one at that price. I use boil wash mainly as only use white towels and sheets. The amazing thing is it has so many other wash cycles, short wash rinse fantastic expensive repair jobs no thank you just get a new one touch wood and don't boast it is perfect after 2 years used daily. I used to pay over £500 For a washing machine thinking it would last longer but no need ladies listen to me my whites are perfect Aldi liqued green top bottle I put in machine with washing never use dispencer they only block up the one I have had a self clean I put a squirt of white Viniger in front during the self clean process 😉

Big mistake buying a beko refrigerator.

Big mistake buying a beko refrigerator.
The ice cubes stick together in ice maker. It forms a big block of ice. And ice maker bangs loudly because ice is stuck. I’ve been dealing with this for a year and I’ve only had refrigerator for 2 years. No one is returning my call. Don’t buy. I should of listen to reviews. I wish I could give them 0 stars. A waste of my $2000😡

Not to be trusted may be doing ok in eruope but over hear in aus cheap and nasty customer service and products. I have had to call 7 times and still don't have a service report apparently that's what's stopping them from compensating me for my lost items in my fridge. Funny that as its already been replaced how could it be replaced without one in the first instance....clearly lying may be good in Europe but not here !

Dishwasher purchased in August

Dishwasher purchased in August, never used because there is a problem, trying to get help calling and on their website.
IMPOSSIBLE to get even an answer.
Bed customers service ever.
I’ve got a faulty dishwasher and cannot have any help from Currys(where I’ve purchased) as well, nobody answer email and phone calls.
Nightmare!

My Beko American Fridge/Freezer broke…

My Beko American Fridge/Freezer broke down after 1 year and 4 months. Waited a week for an engineer who confirmed the compressor had failed and recommended Beko replace it. 9 days later I am still without an appliance and can’t even get in touch with them. I wish I had read all these reviews before I purchased the most expensive appliance I have ever bought.
Update: Got through to Beko after a 16 minute wait only to be told the engineer hasn’t sent through his report, 48 hours later despite him telling me he would send it on the day of his visit. They will phone me back within 24 hours with a code to get a new appliance from Curry’s.
Still waiting! I have now phoned them back only to be told their systems are down. Phone back in 2 to 3 hours. Never, never, never would I advise anyone to buy a Beko product!

WORST service ever. I will never buy beko EVER AGAIN

My washing machine has been faulty for almost a WEEK. I have spent hours every single day on hold and not getting though to anyone and then the line just cuts off!
I finally got through to, let’s say, a “man” who was so unhelpful and hung up the phone when I couldn’t find my warranty code.
No email, no live chat.
I actually can’t believe there are companies still like this!!! Utterly shameful.
I have a young baby, a mountain of washing and no one willing to help me.

I will never ever buy beko again purely because I now know if it’s broken, no one is going to help to get it repaired.
