Always approachable customer service
Always approachable customer service. Always strives to make customer happy. Been customer of 4th Utility for a year now. Non-interrupted service. I work from home 2 days a week. The installation guys when they came, they did a neat job. There is a very tiny fibre cable (you cant even see it if you don’t observe closely) coming direct to home. Need to leave as we are moving and shame they don’t provide service there. This is not a promoted review.
Tip: just talk to them on call nicely when switching, and see offers raining. ;)

Renewal reminder call
I recently received a renewal reminder call from 4th Utility, and I wanted to pass on some positive feedback. The call handler Mr David Cordwell was polite, clear, and well-prepared — he explained my renewal options and pricing in a straightforward way without being pushy. He answered my questions patiently and made sure I understood everything before ending the call. It made the whole renewal process quick and stress-free.
I hope if prices of the service drop in the coming future that 4th utility will offer us the same as technology is moving on and getting cheaper more affordable day after day, especially we have been with the company for at least 4 years so far and there are similar companies that offer a cheaper service in an area that is about one mile or less from us

Connection Issue

Setting up Contract with Sharifa
Sharifa was unbelievably helpful, allowed me to a setup my new account, access payments and offered me the best deal for my flat and the needs of me and my girlfriend in the house. Would highly recommend 4th Utility

Standard router is the 'premium' one according to customer service.
Originally ordered 1gbps for my new house, I selected to obtain their advertised 'Smart pro router' which is an Icotera i4882-01 for an extra £3.99 a month. The standard router they supply with no extra cost is a Nokia Beacon 3.1. The router arrived but I had a faff with moving my partners internet over and merging the two so I ended up cancelling my broadband with them, my partner is also with them so it wasn't a big deal. We rang them up and managed to get through to someone within an hour and explained the situation, they were pretty helpful and sorted the order out so we would move my partners existing internet connection with 4th utility over to the new house but with upgraded speeds. I then asked the person on the phone to add the 'Smart pro router' to the order, just how I could select it on the website when placing an order and he was bewildered with what I was talking about, he was exclaiming that the standard Nokia router is the 'premium' router. I said "Well if that's the case then why are they're advertising a 'smart pro router' on their site for an extra £3.99?" but he was unable to answer. He even apparently went and asked one of the engineers on site which confirmed the Nokia (standard issue) router was the best one available. Due to time constraints and the heat, I ended the debate and accepted the Nokia router. It arrived and I set it up, the internet when connected via Ethernet is blazingly fast, no issues there.. then there is the WiFi.. it's terrible on this Nokia Beacon 3.1, it has numerous dead spots and ping lag which you shouldn't get when you're on 1gbps speeds. I put the Nokia Beacon back in its box and got out my TP-Link Archer 1500x which by no means is a top of the range router but it's damn better than the rubbish Nokia Beacon. Long story short, the call handler hasn't got a clue and the routers they provide as standard are rubbish!!!! No issues with the service as of yet though, speeds have been good and it hasn't gone down yet.
