i was keen to buy a bike from them . bad customer service
i was keen to buy a bike from them , called them for some advise and availability on a certain bike . The person i spoke to was not interested in answering any questions . all he kept saying was " do you want to place the order now " . I was potentially going to part with in excess of £800 so i thought a bit of courtesy and advise would have been the least to expect . The fella was rude and very unhelpful . i have now located the bike elsewhere for quite a bit cheaper ' although i will have to wait several weeks for it to be delivered the other company was more than happy to answer my questions and even gave me some extra discount .
apparently hard to source parts
Ordered a giant rear axle for my bike, as it was listed for sale. next day got a email back asking me to confirm that i was sure this is the part that I wanted as they wouldn't accept return as it was a special order.
When ordering there is no mention of this item is a special order, so its pot luck if they actually have your item or not. when I complained about this stating that I knew what I ordered and I just wanted my part, and I was bitterly disappointed with their service, they could only say that they have now cancelled the order.
although they say they haven't taken the money, they have put a hold on it, which is the same in essence.
very poor customer service. I would not recommend this company for anything as they don't tell you if they actually have the part in question. very poor website information.
I will in future vote with my feet and use another company instead.

Ordered some Middleburn cranks
Ordered some Middleburn cranks. Cranks came and were perfect for my build. One of the little bolts that tightens the preload was slighlty bent and they sent out a bolt in the post straight way free of charge. Cant fault them. Good service and perfect for parts you dont find in normal shops eg Middleburn (nice).

I recently ordered a new bike from activesport I then received a email few hours later saying the bike I ordered wasn’t available anymore so they offered me a better bike for the same price which I was very grateful for. I took my new bike out on the trail for the 1st time and found the dropper seat kept dropping and wasn’t coming back up. So I gave activesport call and got put through to the Recptionist who was quite sarcastic and not very helpful he told me to email my problem to the mechanic with my number on the email so they could assist me. I then recived a email saying it could be the adjuster on the lever or the cable had to much slack the email wasn’t very discriptive and didn’t explain how to fix the problem seems like they didn’t have enough time to help me fix this issue or couldn’t be bothered.

Best fox dealer in Europe. Lots of small parts impossible to find elsewhere. Really involved in the process, they kept me noticed at every step, and even if an article was unavailable at the time I ordered, errors happen, the pre-order worked perfectly.

Placed an order for a new Giant Reign
Placed an order for a new Giant Reign, got a prompt reply confirming the order and when it will be ready to collect.
Again regular emails to keep me up to date, I was going to have it delivered but decided to collect made up ready, they even offered a credit for petrol.
Had to postpone a few times my collection, nothing was a problem.
My experience was of a professional friendly service, I would not hesitate to use again.
On collection day the chap in the shop could not have been any more helpful running through everything on the bike as well as tips for care and recommended accessories, a credit.

Never recieved the item i ordered. No refund or any helpfull support from activesport. Never experienced such a disappointing "support".
Never coming back here and i don't reccomend this site if you want professional support.
Excellent service
I found this company when searching for individual components to rebuild my Fox shock. When the items where in stock it was a quick delivery time, and well packaged. On one piece it was not in stock so I was offered a refund or pre-order. I took the pre-order and was kept informed of anticipated delivery dates, which have been spot on. I have been very impressed with their service.

Poor customer service. Sent a question about an item, and received two completely unhelpful responses with bad attitude. I don't know how these guys are in business. It's the internet age, clickclickclick I just bought my things elsewhere, and they just lost a customer for life.

Website is not accurate
Website showed Giant Talon 2018 model available, placed order, email revived to say sorry, website is not up to date, bike is actually of stock with a list of available alternatives, none of which were a model my son wanted. There was a message that Talon 29ers were not in stock on the email. Later on the same Saturday a separate search on the Talon 29er 2019 model on the internet showed it was available again at activesport. Again the site didn’t mention not in stock and allowed me to place the order - having placed my order I got a message that the bike isn’t actually available until March 2019... and did I want to preorder? Again nothing to indicate this on website but apparently I should have know that from an earlier email line that said “we have no talon 29ers in stock”. Well the website is confusing and allows you to order.
The pricing and range looks great but I would caution people to call before hand to check that the website is correct and the bike is available.

Prompt and Efficient
Saw some negative reviews and was a bit concerned when ordering from Axtivesport. However they were the only company I could find showing Hope Alu cassette blocks in stock. I needed one in a hurry so took a punt. All good, delivered promptly and was obviously in stock as advertised (more than can be said of some of the bigger maul order companies). Would use them again on this basis
Super fast service
Had to replace the brake adjuster pads on my bike's brake caliper. This was the only retailer I could find in the UK who stocked them. Ordered them on Bank Holiday Monday and fitted them on Wednesday afternoon. Can't say any more than, very impressed with the speedy service.
Poor customer service
Trying to keep it short here, I believe I have been lied to:
1) by the order log in first place, which listed the item as dispatched on the same sale date (15/08)
2) In the first update request via email, in which the seller said the item had arrived to them from Fox the previous day and it was dispatched to me on the same day (22/08).
3) In the second update request, where the seller said that the item had been ordered from Fox and would be sent directly to me from the same Fox.
All the above statements are obviously mutually exclusive.
So the bottom line is that you need to start treating your customers as adults and not like kids or morons. All it takes would be to say: 'the item had to be ordered from the distributor. We don't know how long this will take.'
This is called "managing expectations".
On the plus side, the item did arrive and was packed professionally and with care.

Still not received my part
I received an envelope with two headset spacers (which I didn't sign for) worth 3 euros that I could of got anywhere, I didn't receive the part that I needed that I'd paid the 120 euros for and I asked activesport to check the parcel weight to prove it, which they ignored, alongside my other mails.

Item ordered was not received. I contacted them by phone but was met with a grumpy guy who was not interested and told me that the part could take between 10 - 14 days (which was not originally advised to me). He said that internet orders were not taken by phone and he referred me to the foot of the email confirming the order, which apparently told me what to do. It didn't. Anyway I emailed the company and they told me it had been sent to me. It still hadn't been received and I ordered the part from another company. I went back to them for a refund however as they had not received it back, not delivered, they are not making a refund. They do not have proof of posting and I don't have any proof of receipt so my word against theirs. It was only £13 and in my humble opinion they should have just taken my word for it (I am the customer and paid for the goods in advance) and I would have went back to them for other stuff. I'm loyal like that. I use Silverfish now who are really efficient.
