Very approachable staff and excellent customer care
Our two latest rescue cats came with 4-weeks free pet insurance from Agria. I had no intention of extending that as I was actually very happy with my previous insurer, other than the fact that when I had to make a claim they then doubled my premium when it was due to renew. Agria, however, don't do that, which I really rate. I haven't needed to submit a claim to date, although I probably will do very soon as two of my four cats require expensive dental treatment. Hence, I rang Agria to discuss the chance of submitting a claim for this and was given some very good advice from Michael Bowerman. He was incredibly professional and easy to talk to. I'd recommend Agria any day.

Felt ripped off.
Charging model is completely flawed. I was forced to pay more for a lower level of cover for a 2nd dog at the same age / time. Without the option to even get the higher cover. Absolutely awful. Clearly based on price gouging and not treating customers fairly.

Pet insurance premiums are calculated individually for each pet and policy, and there can be a number of differences that influence the premium and cover options available. These can include factors such as the pet's breed, age and gender, as well as when each policy was taken out. Where there is a significant gap between one policy starting and another, changes to pricing over time may also have an impact.
