More a tax write off then insurance!
It’s not worth it to have their insurance. Play thousand dollars a year and only covers for hurricanes. I don’t know that might even change in the event of a hurricane. Offered to pay $250 on a $10,000 claim. Isn’t it nice to have an insurance company stand behind you. Just not that far behind you.
Horrible company
Horrible company. Will take your premiums but heaven forbid if you have to file your first claim. It will be denied in bad faith.
Stay Away from American Integrity!!!!!!
After several years paying on time and never submitting a claim, they sent me a Non renewal notice. Coincidence is, I recently opened a roof claim for wind damage and now they sent the non renewal notice. Reason for non renewal is roof age. Really American Integrity, this is how you treat your clients. I also had to involve a public claims adjuster because they clearly aren't wanting to pay up for the claim. This is ridiculous, I honestly hate companies that take advantage of honest people.
I wish I could give them zero stars!!! Don’t get this insurance!!
I am switching today after almost 10 years! They are a nightmare for home owners. I had only two claims in the past; 1- flood that I had to wait 3 months to get the money from them after I paid out of my pocket to fix my house. 2- Hail damage that I had to hire a lawyer and wait 1 1/2 years to get paid!
Don’t get this insurance!!!
Had this company for homeowner…And they are awful
Had this company for homeowner insurance. I paid my premiums on time you would think life would be good. We had hurricane Irma hit us and caused damage. We had water in one room because of damage from the roof. They paid for all the repairs except for the roof. After many months dealing with attorneys and contractors you would think we could get this repaired, it didn’t happy. Even though we had photos to show the roof 1 year prior to the storm was in great condition- but they still wouldn’t pay. I paid $25000 for the new roof out of my pocket. I wish I would have checked out reviews prior. I learned my lesson, won’t do that again. Caution with this company, they don’t support the customers they have
Terrible experience
This company has been by far the worst I’ve dealt with. I had water damage back in early August which destroyed my master bedroom, bathroom and partially my living room. We called to have a claim opened, spoke with a man name Bill H. once or twice and have not heard back since. I have left multiple emails, voicemails, spoke with the claims department who say they have wrote emails to their supervisors to call me back and STILL nothing! It has been 3 months of a concrete floor, nails sticking out of the floor and wall, unable to use my master bath which is now harvesting mold. I’ve explained this time and time again and it’s as though this company does blink an eye or care about their customers. Countless promises and no results. Needless to say we will be canceling with American Integrity and contacting an attorney, maybe I’ll have better luck getting my life back in order. I wouldn’t even give it 1 star.
If I could give it zero stars I would
If I could give it zero stars I would. I just got the policy on September 30, 2019. Today (October 23, 2019), I go to make a premium payment and notice a new document posted October 17, 2019. It is a notice of cancellation!. Unless I provide a final roof inspection before November 11, 2019 proving my roof was replaced within the last 15 years they are cancelling my policy. Three things wrong here: 1) my house is only 13 years old; 2) No warning whatsoever from the company or my agent that this would be a pre-requisite for insurance; and 3) if I had not opened this document on-line, I would not even know about this. This company is just trying to rake in the money without actually insuring anything! Stay clear!
This company is the worst
This company is the worst. They do anything unethical/illegal to deny your claim. They violate privacy laws and put me in immediate danger by telling me to go request my stolen goods from the thief on the police report. It has been almost a year and they still will not pay for my claim.
My experience with American Integrity…
My experience with American Integrity could not have been better. After Hurricane Irma came through SW Florida, I needed a new roof. Before I could even get roofers out here to bid on it, American Integrity had an adjuster here and a few weeks later I received a check in the mail for a new roof. Most people were using roofing companies to deal with their insurance companies but I had no need to do that as I already had a check in hand when the roofers bid. That also gave me an advantage because I knew what the real cost should be rather than an inflated one that many roofers use after Hurricane's (saying they will work with your insurance company to get the money.) Gratitude for this amazing company that has found a lifelong customer.
One star is too much
One star is too much. Beware, you pay for nothing.
American Integrity NOT!!!
Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company. They are the worst company ever in existence. They know nothing about American integrity because they lack integrity. I waited two months of constant calling, no responses, to find out my claim was denied. I will be getting an attorney.
A hailstorm hit our neighborhood in…
A hailstorm hit our neighborhood in Leesburg, FL on March 27, 2019. I filed a claim, and they sent out a person from an engineering firm. Subsequently, American Integrity denied our claim by phone call from a secretary of the adjuster, who exclaimed that we had a "really good 30 year roof!" She was evidently reading from a script, or so it sounded. In the meantime, almost every home around us, in the dozens, are getting new roofs, except those insured by AI, and possibly one other company. I have signed with a roofing company to fight the claim for us.
If there was a number lower then 0, American Integrity would receive it.
I would give 0 stars if I could. The company is basically a criminal enterprise. They’re what’s wrong with corporate America. Me and my wife filed a claim over a leak in our bathroom that did 7k dollars worth of damage. We followed all steps asked of us to fix the issue. American integrity told us the claim would be covered. Then, out of the blue, a week later they send us a letter with fine print in our contract that basically explains why it won’t be covered. Without going into to many boring details this case went on for 3.5 years with lawyers and a lot of nonsense. We ended up settling but the pathetic thing is it ended up costing them way more with lawyer fees and settlement vs if they would have just accepted our original claim. It was 7k dollars. Not a huge claim. They are criminal. Please read every word of your contract and have it looked over before hand with a lawyer. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my greatest enemy. They aren’t there for you. They are there to line their own pockets and that’s it. I couldn’t possibly recommend a company less for anything ever. Their name is ironic because they have no integrity and they’re an embarrassment to America.
Please go with anyone else. Anyone.
The scam is their policy
The Agent send a bill for policy payment - they are not my insurance company - I only asked for a quote 4 months ago -. I called they say that they consider my quote a verbal contact. I will turn them in for fraud. To stop getting false bills they say I must sign a paper saying I want to cancel my policy - I will not sign anything for them its a scam trap to make it seem I had a policy I never had with them- DO NOT even ask this company for a quote they are frauds and scammers. I am 100% disabled veteran and tell you a fact this company has No Honor.
Not satisfied
I just got my 2019 homeowners policy and the premium increased 15% with no claims in 2018.
Premium Increase
I just got my 2019 homeowners policy and the premium increased 37% with no claims in 2018. These people are crooks.
Do NOT insure your home with American (NO) Integrity
Do NOT insure your home with this company. They are the most unprofessional insurance company, and will gladly take your premiums, but not pay out on your claim! We had a claim from 10/3/2017 that was initially approved, and then, just as we were preparing to start the repairs, they changed their minds and denied the claim. We have hired a public adjuster and a lawyer, and, now, what they have taken to doing is scheduling depositions and cancelling them the night before they are about to happen. They have done this THREE times already, with hopes of us going away...needless to say, we ARE NOT going away, and they will have to face us at some point. Above all this, they employ the most unscrupulous contractors to process claims who misrepresented themselves to our contacts, were accusatory, and totally unprofessional. I'll forever regret purchasing this policy, as we have been a hostage to their terrible business practices for the last 17 months. Save yourself the grief and go somewhere else with your home insurance needs.
American Integrity roof claim Issues
I have tried for 2 months to settle a roof claim, I had 2 roofing companies come out and show me all the damaged and loose shingles. The AII adjusted came out and marked 12 areas or 40% of the roof that had damaged and loose shingle and told me most i should get a new report and would send in the report. I month later after trying to contact my claims adjuster with no success I get a call from SDI Engineering wanting to look at my roof. I told them not until my claims adjuster called me, she called within the hour after not returning any of my previous calls. She stated that SDI would determine if the damage was from the hurricane last year or the wind storm on March 20. When they arrived they told me they were never told that and they were to review the roof. After the inspection they told me I had some damaged shingles but over 50% were not sealed and that it was the insurance decision to determine after he submitted the report. After a month of trying to get the claims adjuster to call me back and not responding I called my agent to get some help. The claims adjuster called back wanting to settle for replacing 8 shingles only and would not address my questions on the 50% plus loose shingles or the areas their first adjuster had marked. I hired my own Angies list approved roofing inspector who confirmed I had over 50% loose and he said loose shingles were damaged shingles. I am filing an appeal and hiring a attorney to get this resolved. They insurance company told me they were sending me $546.00 check I asked for them to send me a copy of the adjuster report so I could see exactly what they expected me to get fixed for that amount. I see they have 25 plus complaint against this year alone
Worst experience dealing with this…
Worst experience dealing with this company. I filed a claim for water damage with the firm. It took them forever to work on the claim. Reaching out to adjuster was even worst experience.
Finally, when everything was settled and it was clear that they had to reimburse me for damages, they issued me a notice that I had filed my paper work incorrectly when I submitted my insurance application and therefore they will not only deny my claim, but also cancel my policy.
Great customer service and support.
