Miscommunication and Delay at Airtel Store
I went to the nearest Airtel store to convert my husband’s SIM from prepaid to postpaid, but due to some issue, the process was not completed. The Airtel employee kept saying that it would be resolved in two days, and she repeated this every time I visited the store. It has now been 1–2 weeks, and the conversion is still not done.
Each time I visited the store, I asked the employee why my plan had been changed from ₹699 to ₹999 while my husband’s SIM was still not converted to postpaid. Every time, she told me that the ₹999 plan would start only after the SIM was converted to postpaid. However, I had doubts because the Airtel Thanks App showed that the plan had already been updated to ₹999. So, I called 121 to confirm, and the customer care executive confirmed that the ₹999 plan was active.
After that, I went back to the store to confront the same employee. She then refused to accept that she had ever told me the ₹999 plan would start only after the SIM conversion. She even claimed that she had already informed me that the plan was updated, which was not true.
Even after patiently waiting for 1–2 weeks, I was still willing to wait. However, after hearing these lies, I became extremely frustrated. If someone is patiently waiting for delayed support, the least they deserve is honest and transparent communication.

New airtel wifi connection scam / illegal connections @ airtel…
I receive many Service requests for New WiFi connection service request 3/5 time in the last 3 months ( not requested by me ). I highlighted this issue to airtel support team, nodal officers and appellate team but in vain. Such requests get auto closed by airtel. Also they manipulate case history data for closed cases as well I suspect illegal connections / malpractice @ airtel

If anyone is planning to take an Airtel…
If anyone is planning to take an Airtel subscription, I strongly advise against it. I had a horrible experience where an Airtel staff member scammed me into paying a certain amount, after which the connection was never activated. When I followed up, she blocked me. I am now literally chasing Airtel for either a refund or the connection. This individual was not an outsider—Airtel has confirmed that she was part of their own team.
Disgusting service
Airtel is only interested in making money. Their executives cheat customers by giving them postpaid SIMs, and then the bill comes out double. Please do not take a postpaid SIM. The customer care service is payable and takes a lot of time. Airtel's only goal is to make money; there is no service.
Worst experience ever with Airtel
Worst experience ever with Airtel. I seriously regret converting to Airtel postpaid. The staff did not give any proper or correct information at the time of conversion. They mislead customers, and later the bill amount becomes extremely high without any clear explanation. Because of this pathetic service, I am closing my SIM card today. Airtel’s service and staff are completely useless. I will never recommend Airtel to anyone.”
AIRTEL BLACK/Broadband/DTH
AIRTEL BLACK/Broadband/DTH
Multiple unresolved issues, responses revolve around rigid internal policies designed more to protect the company from its own failures than to resolve genuine customer issues.
Absolutely incompetent services, Do NOT go for any of the airtel services, its utter crap and cancelling their services is a even shitty experience.
Stick to ACT for a seamless experience. Airtel appears to have its hands in everything—mobile network, broadband, Wi-Fi, DTH—but is light years behind when it comes to management accountability and issue resolution.
I requested service cancellation and a full refund over a month ago, yet my Wi-Fi was never disconnected and I was incorrectly billed. Customer care later claimed the service was only “unbundled” and that a separate call was required for disconnection—something that was never communicated and never requested.
Despite multiple scheduled equipment pickup dates, no one turned up or even contacted me. Repeated follow-ups resulted in selective and evasive responses, where only one point would be addressed while the rest were ignored. I was then asked to wait until 20 February, despite their own repeated failures to act.
This experience reflects poor internal coordination, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customer time and communication. If you’re considering this service, be prepared for delays, misinformation, and the burden of constant follow-ups just to get basic requests honored.
Scam..
I had an Airtel number that got cancelled, but before that happened I had already purchased a 3-month unlimited data plan for ₹1700. I was only able to use the plan for 1 month because my number got cancelled.
Now Airtel is saying they cannot transfer the remaining 2 months of my active plan to my new number, and that I should have transferred it before the number expired. This was never clearly explained, and as a customer I feel this is very unfair.
I already paid for 3 months of service, but Airtel kept the money and is now asking me to pay again for new data. Losing 2 months of a prepaid unlimited plan with no refund or transfer option feels like a scam and very anti-customer.
I feel tricked and disappointed, and based on this experience, I do not recommend Airtel. Customers should not lose paid services because of technicalities that are not properly communicated
Useless for NRI because they want Adhar connected with previous phone
Airtel sim card is Useless for NRI because they are saying your Adhar card is linked with previous number which is not on your name. This argument is not acceptable.
Worst network ever seen

They have a very poor service and are absolute cheaters. They are not giving any proper solution to issues at all. They have an insensitive and uncaring customer care which is extremely rude and will delay all your work
Africa Airtel doing daylight robbery- should be barred

The most useless Broadband _ Airtel
As of this moment, 3 pm on 3 Jan, I’ve been without the Airtel Broadband I’ve paid for in advance, for four full days. Made at least 8 requests to them, but gone waste. I’m not located in a remote jungle but in a metropolis city.
What is wrong with Airtel? Everything.
Completely useless.
