By far the worst company ever

By far the worst company ever! First they refused me to use on board my medical equipment that was necessary for me. Although I had my medical documents, that all the previous airlines accepted diligently, ajet made it a hassle just to take it onboard, then the lady at the check in counter was extremely rude and unpleasant. As if we killed her family, she didn't smile regardless of my kindness, she didn't make any efforts to accomodate in any way my health condition and finally even denied me my check in because my passeport wasn't valid for 6 months. A valid passeport is a valid passeport. This by far the worst experience I ever had.

FINAL NOTICE – Maximum compensation

Dear Sir or Madam,
This email constitutes a FINAL FORMAL NOTICE regarding the delayed delivery of my baggage on AJet flights VF248 / VF1 dated 16 December, baggage tag VF256765.
My baggage was delayed for more than 48 hours, during which no interim assistance, clothing, or essentials were provided, in clear violation of your obligations under the Montreal Convention (1999). Furthermore, the baggage was delivered only 7 hours before my departure, rendering it entirely useless for the purpose of my travel.
I was attending an official academic conference at The Hague University, and the purchase of clothing, underwear, and essential items was mandatory, not discretionary. I incurred expenses of €535, fully documented and already submitted.
Under Article 19 and Article 22(2) of the Montreal Convention, AJet is liable for delayed baggage up to 1,288 Special Drawing Rights (SDR), equivalent to approximately €1,600.
Given the prolonged delay, lack of assistance, and complete failure to mitigate damages, I hereby formally claim the maximum allowable compensation of 1,288 SDR.
If full settlement is not received within 14 days, I will proceed without further notice with:
A formal complaint to the Turkish DGCA (SHGM)
A complaint to the EU National Enforcement Body (Netherlands – ILT)
Legal escalation and recovery of costs
This matter is now at a legal stage.

Diskriminierendes Verhalten und verweigertes Gepäck in Teheran

I am deeply disappointed by my experience with AJet on November 13, 2025, in Tehran. Despite having a valid booking (via Opodo) and pre-paid baggage fees (approx. €60), the ground staff refused to accept my checked luggage for the Tehran–Istanbul–Munich route.
The reason given was a supposed "self-transfer" connection, which I was never informed about in advance. However, the behavior of the staff was particularly shocking: when I mentioned the possibility of obtaining a visa, I was dismissed in an aggressive, loud, and disrespectful tone. I felt discriminated against due to my Afghan passport.
This conduct is not only a breach of contract but also humanly unacceptable. I have already filed a formal complaint and demand a full refund of the fees as well as an official statement regarding the misconduct of the staff. Anyone who values professionalism and freedom from discrimination should avoid AJet.

Wer Wert auf Professionalität und Diskriminierungsfreiheit legt, sollte AJet meiden.

Lost baggage, never again with AJET !!!

We had 3 baggages, only one delivered at arrival. 1 was delivered few days later and 1 completely lost. Despite our calls, send our invoices of emergency needs, we had around 200EUR compensation offer, what a shame. Never ever again.

WORST AIRLINE EVER

As much excited I was to fly this airline, I instantly cancelled my 3 next flights and demanded a refund after doing my very first one with them. I paid for a seat. They downgraded me without a refund. Staffs are so so rude. One was so racist, she even said that to my face. I will side to the other passenger. Thankfully I know my rights, I could fight properly. But I fear for people who are timid of character. You enter in this flight at your own risk
Service is bad. Customer service is worse and the whole system of this airline is worst. Definitely need a check.

Non professional

As I had the right to bring one small bag with me up to the plane and confirmed by the counter while getting my boarding the employee started harassing me and other flyers to make us give the bags as the flight is full and there's no place
After long discussion I've refuse and when we got on board you can see that there is a lot of empty place to store the bags
Also both me going and returned flights were delayed then moved forward then delayed then moved forward then moved on time like child's play

AJet Is Hands Down the Worst Airline I Have Ever Flown With

I have travelled five times in the last 12 months and I have flown with all sorts of airlines. I have never experienced anything as pathetic and disorganised as AJet.

First of all, the staff. The two women at the final boarding check were honestly the most miserable, unfriendly and unapproachable people I have ever dealt with in the travel industry. No smile, no effort, no professionalism. Just pure attitude. They looked irritated the moment they saw me and their behaviour made it very clear they did not want to be there.

What makes this even worse is the way they handled my hand luggage. At the check in desk nobody said a single word. No problem, no warning, nothing at all. Everything appeared to be fine. Then, right before boarding, at the absolute last moment before stepping onto the plane, these two unfriendly ladies suddenly decided my perfectly normal hand luggage did not fit the measuring box. It is the exact same case I have used many times on many different airlines without any issues at all.

Out of nowhere they told me I had to pay fifty euros. No explanation that made sense. No consistency. No logic. It felt like they were inventing rules on the spot.

This is not customer service. This is chaos, incompetence and attitude all combined into one miserable experience. Now I completely understand why AJet barely reaches just over one star on Trustpilot. They have genuinely earned that rating.

I will never fly with AJet again. If you value your money, your time and your peace of mind, avoid this airline at all costs. There are budget airlines and then there is whatever this disaster is supposed to be.

They advertise free cancellation and full refunds within 24 hours of purchase. But they did not fully refund, even though I canceled within an hour. They withheld a tax that was not mentioned anywhere in their policy or during the booking process.

Absolutely terrible airline - AVOID!

Absolutely terrible service. Baggage drop off took almost an hour because they had only 3 people at the counter. Once we got to the gate we were told to use a baggage sizer thing. Our 10 year old cabin baggage which must have had a hundred flights without a single issue did not fit in this awkward sizer. When we pointed out that only half of the wheel of the luggage was too big, we were told to remove the wheels if we can. At the end we had to oblige and pay 40 pounds for about 2 centimetres of excess length. On top of all these the flight was delayed by about 40 minutes. They are a disgrace, will never ever fly with this company again.

I have booked 4 flight with ajet and

I had a very bad experience with AJet. I had 2 flight 1 were connection flight . My first flight was delayed, I missed my connection, and the airline offered no assistance at all. Staff kept sending me from one counter to another, and nobody took responsibility.

Even worse, no one knew what happened to my luggage. I waited many hours without any clear information, and my baggage was sent on a different flight without notifying me.

The whole experience was stressful, confusing, and completely unprofessional. I do not recommend flying with AJet.

A Shocking Breach of Passenger Rights

AJET Airlines denied my boarding during a layover in Istanbul, with my boarding pass in hand, after departing from Rome.
They imposed an undocumented requirement "pet import permit", not listed in their policy and not required by Iranian authorities.
This last-minute decision caused financial loss and violated passenger rights.
