I bought on Spring a memelory stick of Ali, shop Data Fly Shop. It was not working, I returned it and then I notitced that Data Fly Shop was a common crime shop, a real scam shop of Chinese criminals like Aunlu. Brutal, no guarantee and there are a liot of complaints over this scam shop. No refund and the Ali robot does nothing. Time to remove these criminals from Ali...and my refund.

My experience with Alibaba’s customer service has been extremely disappointing.
At first contact, customer service gives the impression that the issue will be handled and resolved. After that, there is no follow-up, no updates, and no real action. You only hear from them again if you contact them yourself.
When you do follow up, you are then informed that the protection time has expired, even though the issue was already raised earlier. Replying to their emails results only in receiving the exact same standard response again, without any reference to the information, documentation, or explanations provided.
This creates a frustrating loop with no real case handling, no accountability, and no meaningful customer protection.
Based on my experience, Alibaba’s customer service feels like a hamster wheel rather than a functioning support system.

I bought a smart phone from the Alibaba where the seller was saying that this phone is for 42 USD dollar which includes the 16 GB of RAM 1 TB of storage and 18108 megapixel of camera and those kind of fancy and description they used it by for selling the phone when I bought the phone when I started using it. The camera was not real because it was like a cheap camera. The clarity is not that much of 108 megapixel Clarity. Many features in the camera was not working you want then after when I realize I use the third-party app to verify the actual phone configuration and if it was a scam and fraud happened with me because there was originally there is only 10 GB of storage in the phone and three GB of RAM available in the phone Which is scam happened by that seller on the Alibaba I try to make the disport again and again with Alibaba team, they did the immediate mediating during the conversation but still Alibaba people are on the seller side and they are taking seller side like saying OK if you wanted to do such kind of verification you need to spend thousand USD and make the verification by our authorized dealer so they can check the phone configuration so this doesn’t make sense like my phone price is like a 42 USD and I need to spend thousand US dollar USD to just check the phone I am telling that my phone is in the trade assurance that I can return my phone but again they are charging for shipping like again to delivery and shipping. Everything I need to pay for them which is more than what my phone price it doesn’t make sense. I don’t know how this is Alibaba people are working and those many manufacturers are there are those are selling the ⚠️ Scam phone and the fraud happening on the Alibaba so I don’t recommend to buy the stuff from Alibaba if it is a cheap. And Alibaba managing team is also always on the Chinese people side and their seller side. I don’t think they are care about their customer service and customers.

Looking to start import some small equipmen t i went to Allibaba to look around and found a REALLY cheap Kubota 4x4 cab tractor and a nice Kubota RTV1100 44x4 UTV BOTH for the unbelievable prices of $2,000 each! Whilae I AM well areare that these COULD have beed frauds, I alo know agfter 25 years of doing this that HIS is how good deals are found, so I contacted the seller who's ad sais they are in CANADA.

The HE asked me what my whatsap[p number was and I told him NOT to contact me there because its full of scammers, bet he did anyway, because I sent him my phone number, KNOWING that Canadians CAN call me, and told me that the machine is in TURKEY!!!!

RED LIGHT!!

So I contacted Alaibaba but I seriously doubt they will do anything because they DO have an escrow payment system that will prevent me from being scammed, BUT I haven't seen any evidence that they require ALL of there sellers to use it!!!!!!!!

BOTTOM LINE IS, IF YOU WANT TO BUY SOMETHING FROM OVERSEAS, EMAIL THE MANUFACTURER..............DO NOT BUY IT OFF OF ALIBABA, OR THEIR SISTER COMPANY ALI EXPRESS !!!!!!!

Shenzhen Huicai Technology Co., Ltd – Misrepresented Product, No Warranty Support, Buyer Blocked.
I am reporting Shenzhen Huicai Technology Co., Limited due to serious misrepresentation and refusal to honour their warranty obligations.

Issues encountered:

Product was advertised as IP66 waterproof, but internal inspection shows no waterproof seal, allowing moisture to enter and damage the LED drivers.

The supplier advertised a 50,000-hour lifespan, but changed this to 5,000 hours after multiple failures occurred.

Several units failed after 6–7 months of normal indoor use.

Warranty was stated as 2 years, but the supplier refused service and blamed me for “using the lights too long per day”, which was never mentioned in the listing.

The supplier blocked communication, preventing me from resolving the issue.

My evidence was strong, but the product failed outside Alibaba’s dispute window, so no dispute could be opened.

This supplier should be avoided

Their behaviour is deceptive and unprofessional. I am sharing this to protect other buyers and to request Alibaba to review this supplier’s practices, as multiple aspects of their listing were misleading or changed after purchase.

I bought off Alibaba website and want some assistance and because its gone passed 90 days they refuse to help.I do not want to complain about a company i bought from i want to write a nice review but they say i can not.I spent 16k on there site so why cant i write a review.I have had good service off the company i bought from but Alibaba do not help.My point is this your better buying direct to a company once you know them as Alibaba has no customer service on after sales.Very stressful .

Alibaba gives the impression of affordable prices… until you ask for shipping. I was quoted €1,000 in shipping for a €250 outdoor garden chair.

At that price, I assume the chair is travelling first class, escorted by customs officers, possibly dolphins, and maybe doing a short detour through space.

Jokes aside, this is extremely misleading. Shipping costs are not visible upfront and completely change the reality of the purchase. What looks affordable at first becomes absurd once the real costs are revealed.

If Alibaba is intended only for bulk B2B orders, this should be made clear from the start. For private customers, this setup wastes time and creates the feeling of being misled.

A ton of scammers on this ad. Waste my time choosing a product to hope to get it at a good price. Almost almost seller carry fake and poor warranty. The transation they push to etransfer without paying taxes that means they are nobody. they just want to take money money and close ad or block buyer

Ordered headlights, but received an incorrect product.
The supplier used every delay tactic, so I initiated a dispute through Alibaba, which was a complete waste of time. The supplier continually missed response deadlines, which were extended to the point that a credit card chargeback could not be issued. Next time, I'll dictate a time deadline and make sure it's within the time frame to do a chargeback.

My Honest Experience With Alibaba — Be Very Careful (Order Held 16+ Months, No Refund)

I have been using Alibaba for many years, and the platform today is nothing like it used to be. What has happened to us is extremely disappointing and has cost our business huge time and money.

We placed an order for simple fountain candle party products back in March 2024. The supplier promised delivery to the UK in no more than 60 days.
It has now been over 16 months — and we still have NOT received anything.

Throughout this time:

The supplier kept telling us the items were “in production,” but never produced any designs, samples, or progress.

They even increased the price by $1,000 months later for no valid reason.

We replied immediately every time (all proven in chat history) and kept asking for updates every few days.

The supplier later changed the agreement from 20,400 pairs to 20,400 single pieces, which was not what we agreed on.

We finally asked Alibaba for our refund, which should have been straightforward because the supplier never shipped anything at all.

Instead of helping us, Alibaba sided with the supplier.
The dispute team repeatedly sent us the same messages and kept delaying the case.
They even claimed we “did not provide evidence,” although we uploaded over 40 pieces of proof, including all chat screenshots.

In the end, Alibaba closed the dispute, told us to “deal with the supplier directly,” and refused to return our money — even though nothing was produced, nothing was shipped, and the supplier failed the contract completely.

Our funds have now been blocked for over a year, and Alibaba has done absolutely nothing to protect us.

To anyone considering using Alibaba:

⚠️ Be extremely careful. The platform does NOT protect buyers anymore.
⚠️ All customer service agents are automated or scripted.
⚠️ Dispute resolution is extremely poor, slow, and biased.
⚠️ Even Trade Assurance means nothing if Alibaba decides to side with the supplier.
⚠️ You can lose your money and your time — just like we did.

We used to trust Alibaba, but after this experience, we strongly advise others to think twice before placing orders or paying deposits.

Do NOT subscribe to any paid membership — it offers no real protection.

Our business money has been stuck for 16+ months for a small order that was never produced. This should never happen on a global platform.

I tried to shop here. But every two minutes they throw up a capcha saying "we've detected abnormal network activity". They obviously don't want my business and I'm never going back there again!

Why most people don’t trust alibaba sellers or even manufacturers? Why they always allow this to happen? Poor customer service and terrible business hub to deal with. I hope they can fix this and change people’s impression of them. The moment I make order with them it’s like no guarantee or very scary place to do business with them. So sad management!

I bought a custom outdoor sauna through Alibaba Trade Assurance
(Order 200398818501024418).

Water is leaking inside the electrical installation → serious electrocution risk.
The sauna is unsafe and unusable.

I paid around 10,000 USD including shipping and installation.

Alibaba has had all evidence for months
(photos + video clearly showing the internal water leakage).
They keep replying with the same message:
“Escalated to the senior team.”

But still:
❌ No refund
❌ No accountability
❌ Supplier still allowed to sell on Alibaba

I posted video evidence on YouTube so other customers can see the danger.

How can Alibaba claim to protect customers if they ignore life-threatening safety issues and take no action?

I have only bought a few items from this firm in the past and nothing for a couple of years. In the past they seemed okay and worthy of three stars but not now. I was interested in an item on their website but their faulty software would not allow me to see what was included with the item and what was extra and as such had to be paid for. Also it would not give the shipping cost. I contacted the online customer service adviser who did not know anything, then another customer service advisor who was not efficient and kept me on the line for half and hour and still did not answer my questions. we were just going around in circles and getting nowhere so I gave up on the idea of buying the item from them. In short -- bad computerised software and bad customer service.

Unfortunately, I can only confirm the poor ratings given to Alibaba Trade Assurance by scammers working for Chinese suppliers. A large generator ordered in March 2025, NEVER RECEIVED. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF IT ACTUALLY LEFT CHINA. Trade Assurance asks me to be patient, which is pretty much their only message that keeps coming back. Here is also the Chinese company to avoid, which refuses to take responsibility."Sichuan Leton Industry Co., Ltd".This has had financial repercussions on my business and has also caused me to lose credibility. This company is a nightmare ? I have recently paid for an item the company took me off the website in order to pay and i had to pay through paypall , when i had paid the price they asked for and wanted the delivery dates they said they would not send the item unless i bought another item the same ? When you try and make a dispute on the Alibaba App it leads you down so many rabbit holes , i gave up in the end and had to make a claim with paypall direct then go to my barclays bank ?its is still not resolved alibaba does not help ?

This is my second time buying from Alibaba, I’ve noticed most of the reviews are ones this is a great indication that Alibaba is one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Please do not get sucked into their Cheap prices because you’ll never get your merchandise. I am just filing a claim against them in the Better Business Bureau because they stole $140 from me.

We wish to bring to your attention our recent experience with requesting quotations from sellers on the Alibaba website. Recently we have been in the market for “All in one Desktop Computers” and naturally we checked on their website first as there are a number of sellers on your site with a wide range of products. It is our policy before purchasing in quantity that we assess the Sellers product for quality, features, client suitability, etc. and a number of Sellers on the site advertise that they sell a single unit at a fixed price as shown, however when contacted none of these sellers will honor the advertised Alibaba pricing but immediately provide an inflated one of double or more, siting that their Alibaba pricing was an expired sale price or some other excuse?? Naturally we will not purchase from these Sellers as we feel this is deceptive advertising and and should not be condoned by Alibaba. The very least there should be a disclaimer on the site that these advertised prices are not the actual pricing of the sellers merchandise

Scam do not buy from Alibaba
