Downright horrendous

Absolutely terrible, package was never delivered while we were home, email was ignored, and the crappy customer service hag laughed at me and hung up, hands down I haven’t seen service this horrendous in decades.
Never, NEVER use Allied Express, it’s a garbage excuse of a company.

AVOID!!!

Over a month and my item still hasn’t been delivered. Absolutely unacceptable. Customer service keeps giving vague responses with no real solution. Worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. Avoid.

Slack deliveries

Moved 12 hours away from family and home to a rural town (3 hours away from any other towns)
Ordered a mattress to be delivered to new address 2 weeks before moving day and estimated delivery date was day before we moved
When we got there no mattresses and when I called they said it would be another whole week before the mattress would arrive and that delivery date given is only an estimate
No attempt to try and correct and deliver sooner no empathy

Rude and unprofessional

They called me, i missed the call and called straight back
I spoke with Rachel, she asked me for a tracking number (this was used as a contracted service by a company i purchased through) therefore didnt have one and she actually just hung up on me! Also they called me so they clearly had the details of my delivery...

I called back again, told her she hung up and said yeah well do you have one. I couldn't believe it, didnt even deny it
I eventually found my tracking number though a series of emails, im sure they could have helped me if she asked for a name and address

Ordered a very expensive portable air…

Ordered a very expensive portable air conditioner unit they put the document in letter box saying it was delivered it was not.
We have cameras
Then they sent us a blury photo of a complete different house and now they won’t email us back
This is the second time this exact thing has happened with them

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Service

I ordered a bed from Temple & Webster while moving house, planning for delivery before I arrived at my new address. The delivery estimates looked fine, but the experience was a nightmare. First, I received no warning that the package was out for delivery. Later, I saw an update claiming “no one was home,” which was completely false. My family was home all day, and security footage confirmed no truck ever arrived. The next day, the parcel was resent but only half of the bed showed up. There were no updates about the missing half, so I had to call customer service. They were unhelpful, simply saying it was “back at dispatch” and would arrive the next day. It didn’t. By then, I had moved to my new address and had to keep calling because the tracking website showed nothing. I was told it would be resent on Monday- another lie. On Tuesday, I called again to confirm it was on the truck, and was told yes. Still, the website gave no indication of delivery time. I had to call again late in the afternoon to check on the driver to make sure it would arrive, because by this point, I had been sleeping on a mattress for two weeks. I was told over the phone that it would arrive between 2-4pm and after nothing showed up I had to contact customer service again and this time they said it will now not be arriving till the next morning. This entire process was stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable with proper communication and reliable service. I will think twice before ordering from Temple & Webster as I would not want my items delivered by Allied Express ever again.

Need a 0 star option

Need a 0 star option, avoid shipping with allied express if possible. I brought 3 beds from temple and Webster a month ago, they ship with allied express. so far I’ve only received 1 bed head from one of the beds. They were all ordered under one order and somehow they have lost 2 beds and the rest of the third has ended up in a different state. Customer service has promised numerous times to chase it up and call back, when I ring again because they fail to call back they have no idea there was an issue. At this point I think a team of monkeys could be more reliable and helpful. I’ve seen more competence and intelligence in a pre school. Do not use allied express.

Relieved and pleased!
After reading all the negative 1 star reviews I was extremely nervous as allied express was to deliver my couch order. I wasn’t home ant the time but I arrived and raced around the complex looking for the apparently delivered boxes only to find them in perfect condition up on my apartments level right next to my front door! What a legend! Super fast delivery too so can’t complain however on the tracking it seems my couch went from NSW to VIC back to NSW and then back to me in VIC in the span of a couple days (perhaps a system error) but honestly very very happy!! Thanks team :) oh and I received messages along the way updating me on where and when of it all which was great!

Don't buy from businesses that use Allied Express

Need a no star option. Lost my order and were not even looking for it. The item I purchased was 9 days over the estimated delivery date so I called Allied Express and provided the tracking number. They confirmed what I could already see on their tracking website, that the item was scanned into their depot 16 day before and had not moved since. They told me they would start an investigation. I asked why they had not already started one as surely they can see or run reports on undelivered items. They said yes they do run daily reports that show items that have not been scanned out or in to depots or delivered. I asked why then do they wait for the receiver to enquire before starting an investigation. The answer was basically 'we can't be bothered'. That it's just easier to wait for the receiver to let them know then managed the item. But that's the job isn't it? Freight logistics. What an appalling business.

PATHETIC

PATHETIC. I placed an order with Kogan and it has been with Allied Express for 2 weeks without progress. They claim there are delays due to black friday sales which has long since passed and even that wouldn't account for such uselessness. They claim they can't even give you an ETA. Absolutely astonishingly bad service.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed with the customer service experience. I contacted Allied Express to confirm Christmas cut off details for an urgent interstate shipment and was advised over the phone that if the freight was received into the depot today it would make the Christmas cutoff this information is also written on their website "Christmas Cut Off" which states today is the final day for cut off.

Despite this confirmation and the cutoff dates being clearly listed on the website, I later received a tracking update showing the shipment had been pushed out to 29 December. This directly contradicted the advice given earlier the same day.

I phoned their customer service line and spoke to someone who was arguing with me stating they didn't write the website nor where they the person I spoke to this morning. I understand it is not her fault but her tone and service over the phone was not good at all.

For small businesses relying on accurate information during peak periods, this lack of clear and consistent communication creates significant issues and unnecessary stress. Timelines matter!

Better alignment between customer service advice, website information, and actual freight handling is needed, particularly during high volume periods like Christmas.

Service is absolute horse crap

Service is absolute horse crap. No notification was provided to the customer regarding expected delivery, then the item showed up at my door while I was at work. Twice now I have left a note to please bring this 51kg item into the block and upstairs to my unit, as I am unable to do so on my own. Item left outside the first time; second time I happened to be home and had to beg this rude courier staff to PLEASE help me bring this heavy item upstairs.

Allied can't even manage to deliver…

Allied can't even manage to deliver within NSW in a month! We're still waiting on some deliveries. Out of the 70 orders we placed, 10-20% haven't been delivered yet. The boxes were damaged, and the deliveries took over three weeks, even though it wasn't peak season.

My item has been sitting in the depot…

My item has been sitting in the depot for a week. What are they doing?! Deliver it to me or allow me to pick it up!!
I will be going there in person tomorrow. And I won't be leaving until I get my item.

edit: it finally arrived today. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. They kept it at the depot for an extra day on purpose.
From now on when I order online I'm going to ask if the place I'm ordering from uses these incompetent idiots.
And if they do I won't be ordering from them.
This is how we make an example of them. By making them lose business.

Do not use this courier it's a nightmare. 2 times whent back to depot. Give information on business address for delivery. Driver Saying business is close at the time of delivery so whent back to depot. Simple instruction never follow. Almost 2 weeks item not recieve yet.

It’s clear no care was taken: the carton was poorly taped over tears, no waterproof protection, and left upright against a wall in the weather. Worst ever delivery I have ever seen!
