Rude agent on the phone , put the phone down on me because I mentioned the hundreds of bad reviews, no wonder they have so many if they treat potential customers like that

Quite clearly been ripped off.
Paid £50 call out.
A guy turned up at the venue checked out one part on the toilet and said he’d have to go and find it in the warehouse. He left and never answered this phone for the rest of the day did the company that I called for the callout. Disgusting behaviour. If I hadn’t of had so much stuff going on, I may have checked For reviews sadly people like probably pray on people who are in awkward, vulnerable or time constraint conditions

Charged £350 to change a socket, when I refused he dropped price to £150.....for changing a socket?

We called these guys out as they were the first number available as it was quite an emergency, we got told the plumber would of been with us in 45 minutes after an hour and 10 minutes we phoned back and the guy told us he was two minutes away, another 25 minutes passed and we have been waiting 2 hours… called again the guy told us another 25 minutes so we gave the benefit of the doubt,bearing in mind are kitchen was flooding, the pipes were spraying with water everywhere! Anyway time got on and this cowboy turned up at the front door, in A BMW series 5, a guy got out the car came in the house dressed in a Hugo Boss tracksuit, no equipment what so ever to call himself a plumber had a torch the only piece of equipment insight!!!! Also had a girl sat in the front seat of his car which I find highly disturbing considering he’s meant to be in a trade but shofuering people around too UNPROFFESIONAL! He didn’t really understand what we were telling him about the problem we had, and he took my dad outside to the boot of his car to show him a piece of equipment a poxy little metal valve that we wanted to put on to stop the water completely so we had no water which we already didn’t anyway, so we already knew something he was trying to tell us. We asked for a quote as we have read these reviews previous to the guy turning up as we knew something was dodgy when it took him 2 hours to get here!!! He phoned a guy called Brian at the office for a quote on how much this would cost, he gave us a quote of £305 ABSOLUTELY ROBBING!!! DISGUSTING! All for a poxy piece of equipment that wasn’t even gonna do the job anyway! Bob the builder would of known more what he was talking about! My dad told him no we couldn’t afford that amount of money, so Brian was asking how much we could afford to pay, in that case why did he tell us such a rip off price in the first place! He knows full well that he’s pulling peoples pants down and conning people out of money. Had a plumber in this morning that replaced a new stop tap for £100 reasonable price and our house is back up and running with the water… my mum looked on her bank account this morning and seen there was a £72 charge for a call out fee, bearing in mind we were told last night it was £60 for a call out fee and we waitd 2 hours for absolutely nothing anyway as they didn’t even know what they were doing!!! My mum has phoned her bank to cut her card off so no more money is taken by these robbing thieves!!! My mum also phoned Brian at the office to ask why she had been charged £72 when we were quoted £60 and we have 4 witnesses to say it was £60!!! Even it was more we should of been discounted as we had to wait 2 hours! On ur poxy fake website it says 45 minute call out time… aload of rubbish!!!!!!! Anwyay Brian told my mum she was charged £72 as there was a VAT CHARGE on top, but that was never mentioned on the phone call, anyway my mum has given him till 12 olcock today to refund the money as there robbers and if my mum doesn’t recieve this refund by mid day today on her card we are getting the police involved this so called business piece of rubbish needs to be shut down!!!! PLEASE PEOPLE DO YOUR RESEARCH EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY AND NEVER TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY EVER AS THEY ARE OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY AND THEIR SO CALLED TRAINED PLUMBERS ARE CRAP AND DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT WHAT THERE ARE DOING!!!! ANYONE WHO HAS VULNERABLE OR ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO ARE IN AN EMGERNECY SITUATION OF NEEDING A PLUMBER PLEASE DONT USE THESE GUYS THEY WILL TAKE THEM FOR ALL THEY HAVE AND ROB THEM BLIND WITH MONEY EVEN FOR THE SLIGHEST JOB!!!!!!

Be vigilant of who and what you use, they have a website saying they have 5 star reviews which are clearly fake as all over trust pilot they are slated about how much they have robbed people and charged people over the top or people haven’t received refunds from them, also something we told about and didn’t click in heads last night is they took card details verbally over the phone which is dodgy too, don’t ever give your card details unless you know it’s legit!!!!

I live in the Manchester area and found Alpha Plumbers Manchester’s emergency number on line. It’s the same number and ad as that for Alpha Emergency West London.
I explained to the friendly chap on the phone that it was an outside drain that was blocked and he sent his very nice chap over within the promised half an hour saying that there would be a £60.00 call-out fee plus labour.
“Dennis” arrived in his 5 series BMW on a lovely sunny day, equipped with a torch and I could see nothing else.
I pointed to the outside drain I had mentioned in my call and he asked to see the inside toilet, which was in a well illuminated room. He pointed his torch at it (without even turning it on - for £60.00 he could have at least turned on the blooming torch!) and said it’s an outside drain and he didn’t have the correct (i.e. any!) equipment to unblock an outside drain and that I should speak to Brian on the phone. Brian explained that I should pay the call out fee and another engineer would be back with the correct equipment and I would only have to pay labour charges. Dennis took payment and my email address to send me a receipt. I have received neither a call back or receipt and when I phoned to speak to enquire about both, the lady who answered the phone said that Brian would phone back in ten minutes (he didn’t and still hasn’t) and that she had hundreds of receipts to send out and it would take a few days. Both names were almost certainly not their real ones as they had Eastern European accents, as did the lady I spoke to.
I subsequently found no Trustpilot reviews of the Manchester branch but wish that I had read the West London one’s reviews and now that I have, if they do get back to me, I won’t let them near my property again.
Please consider using another firm.

I wouldn’t even give one star! Quoted £40 for call out charges to repair a leaking toilet, plus any costs for repairs. He said toilet needed a new filter but couldn’t find the stop tap ( which I found later behind the washing machine!). He even said he had looked behind washer! 35 mins later, he announced I would have to phone water company to stop water outside, affecting all my neighbours! He then phoned his boss who charged me £255! They wanted the money transferred in that instant! I feel totally taken for a ride and used as a vulnerable pensioner on my own. NEVER use this company! Clearly they are making money, as the guy turned up in a nice new BMW saloon!

Massive leak under the bathroom sink. Got told there was a 50quid call out fee. Then a quote would be given. He looked and told us the problem ( new flex pipe needed) dint tell us a price and we dint think to ask... thinking it's only a small job. No quote was given by the plumber. He Left to get materials then Came back and did the job, He then rung the office for the price . £810 Inc vat! (For a job that should of been £150 according to another plumber I've spoke to since) please please please do not make the mistake we did!!!!!!! Do not phone this company!!!!!!!

My one toilet needed immediate attention as the push down flush broke and fell through into the water tank making the toilet unuseable at 10.30 p.m. on a Saturday night.
Unable to find any local plumber for a weekend emergency and found this company on line. Had no option but to ask for help and a plumber came within half an hour of call. The plumber seemed capable and removed the entire flush system and replaced with a new one. Really felt angry at the charge of £485 plus VAT making a total of £582. I had been quoted "about £250" but had no alternative option on a weekend where I would have had no toilet. My home insurers call it "wear and tear" and no claim can be made. Never had an experience like this but had to get the toilet fixed by the only company I could find on line on a Saturday night. Payment had to be made on line immediately work completed and it took 2 requests to obtain my email receipt. Never been fleeced like this especially as the "Reviews" I looked at were very good.

I was charged £70 for call out and without checking the pipes, I then had another leak an hour later problem not resolved..to add this very rude woman on the phone, I had to ask 5 times to receive report and I was given an incorrect email when I asked to make a complaint..does this even deserve 1 star

Exactly 1 week ago I phoned this company and paid £72 . Shortly after I read the reviews and immediately phoned and cancelled.

They said I would get a refund on that day Saturday 2nd September. It did not appear in my account.

I called every day this week and the phone like is extremely bad ( I guess it's redirected to a mobile) I got an extremely RUDE woman called Nikki who assured me every day it would be in my account by close of business, 1 week on and these people have stolen my money.

I emailed as requested and no answer the this either.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE 1 PENNY TO THESE CROOKS THEY WILL STEAL IT AND TELL LIES

Oh. If only I'd read the reviews first. Quote of £50 call out but ended up 500 quid. Great job, but horribly expensive.

My step daughter had a leak in kitchen ceiling. £60 callout. A plumber called Ricci butchered the kitchen ceiling so that has got to be repaired at some point, turned out the leak was from a plastic pipe on the bathroom sink. So no materials used, left my step daughter in a mess, was there less than an hour & charged £475 . Cost £560 altogether. Complete rip off merchants. Absolutely abysmal people. DONT USE. I will be taking these people to the small claims court. Once again, you have been warned. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this company.

If you don't read anything today PLEASE I urge you to read this. I have just had one of their plumbers over to my home to repair a blockage in my drains and it has cost me £170 for absolutely NOTHING to be fixed!! YES you have read that right. I was totally conned. The call I made to them the person on the end of the phone told me they had a £60 call out fee and then what ever the costs needed to fix the problem. It was clear this SCAM company had NO intention of fixing the problem but instead the role was to scam me out of £170 to do @uck all to fix my problem. I got a name "Anton" OR "Anthony" and the bank account I had to pay was in the name of someone foreign. NEVER use this company, as now I'm having to look into another company to do the repair. THIS company was totally and utterly useless, came in trainers when I clearly told them over the phone there was a drainage issue with water everywhere, no work boots (maybe I should have seen then it was a scam!) and asked to use MY bin liners as gloves as he had no gloves with him too. People listen to me THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!
Ps they said they'd email me a receipt, yeah you've guessed. Hour or so later and still NOTHING!

Complete scammers PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Initial call out fee was £60.00 plus VAT.
Plumber arrived and replaced a leaking radiator valve which took no more than 10 mins to replace and charged us £475.00
Am taking them to small claims court.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Completely horrendous service taking full advantage of vulnerable people. No complaints service or way to communicate efficiently with the so called professional plumbers after the 'work' has been carried out. Scammed out of a lot of money for absolutely awful service. Only wish we had seen these reviews first.

We phoned Alpha to have a bath tap washer replaced. I was told it was a £40 call out no problem. The final bill was £380. PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY. i WASN'T ISSUED WITH A FINAL INVOICE.

Contacted this comany to be told someone would be out in 40mins it was mentiond there would be a £60 call out charge "they took out more than mentiond" he then started the job and proceeded to sheer off the stop tap this left us in a worse situation especially as we're approaching a weekend and no water !!! he said we would have another engineer out in 45mins they never arrived or telephoned !!! Telephone manners very off hand !

Rip off. Scam. Tried to charge £155 for a piece of flexible pipe. Plus 50 call-out and £270 per hour.

Complete rip off! Do not go near this company. 3 hours work trying to charge people £600.00

Firstly they vastly over charged for a relatively simple job- £650 to replace a tap, with no prior estimate of costs before we agreed to the job. They then failed to send a receipt by e-mail as expected, and when I tried to contact them my calls were either cut off or sent to voicemail. I can't find any other way to contact them other than the phone number on the website.
